“This past weekend I boarded my dog Duke at Claudia’s home. Though Duke is a well behaved large dog, he doesn’t like anything outside of his normal routine. I have always been extremely hesitant to board him because I knew it would be extremely upsetting for him. Duke knew Claudia from all the home visits she does so I boarded him at her home to make him feel a little more comfortable with someone he already knew. Claudia sent me so many cute photos and updates throughout the weekend. Claudia went over and above with Duke and treated him like a member of her own family. She has a large beautiful back yard for the dogs to play in and also took Duke for walks. I’m so happy I can board my dog with Claudia instead of putting him at a boarding facility where he would be very upset the entire time. Claudia is one of the very few people I can fully trust to take care of my dogs and I’m so grateful I found her on Rover!”

About: I have experience with animals since I could walk. In my personal life I would best describe my passion as a certified collector of strays (cats , dogs, birds and insects . The list is very long :) . In my professional experience I’m very exposed to the knowledge and unique design in caring for animals . STORY TIME : * ****I met a pit bull ****At the age of 17 I went to one of my first parties with my friend ( I was still very shy and reserved, but was looking to dismantle my comfort zone ). I had a bad time and unfortunately I was followed walking on my route and hoped to just make it back home in the same pieces that I came with lol . Anyways I approached a dark neighborhood on my path and only two streetlights worked and sarcastically I was excited to be walking under one the moment I locked eyes with THEE most Beautiful & intimidating Pit Bull I’d ever been blessed with eyes to see and a body to run that couldn’t move and was actually not breathing to well either 😅So I did what any rational human would in this situation and called her and told her to come here “sweetie” and she Bolted towards me … arms out stretched shaking in my wee lil boots I prayed lol and she jumped up on my shoulder and licked my face and I was at awe 🥹. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born! Love animals and always have. If I could have any dog in the world it would be a Saint Bernard. They are just so big and huge, but for now I have a cute little mutt who is 13 and still energetic and healthy! I’ve had dogs jump on me, so I can handle big dogs. I’m currently working part-time at church and looking for full time ministry! In the meantime ~ I wanted to earn some extra money, to help with student loans and food. Rover has been recommended to me and I can’t wait to join in all the pet sitting fun!! I have a fenced yard that is a pretty good size for running around! My house is a little small inside, but it’s like a cute cottage. We keep our air conditioning cool and there’s comfortable spots for your pet to lay/sit on! We keep our house clean and picked up. Indoor and crate training is also great. I will make sure they are comfortable and safe.

About: Bruiser. A friendly paraplegic dachshund whose physical needs required his humans to find help at their home when they needed time away. Helping care for him blossomed my new love for pets of all sizes and medical conditions, outside of my work life in a veterinary clinic. About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.

About: I've taken care of dogs, as well as cats since I was six. My pet experience with dogs is of varying size, energy level, and maintenance. From my moms dog who was a German shepherd, Rottweiler, and chocolate lab mix, to a large stray dog that mix have been a Great dane and boxer mix, and currently 2 small dogs, Angel and Charlie. I do have experience with diabetic dogs as my dog, Charlie, is diabetic. I have experience as well with handling high energy dogs like my dog, Angel, who is chihuahua and jack Russell terrier mix. I am currently unemployed, but live with my mom and take care of my sister, who is 17 years old, I drive her to school at 7 am and pick her up at 3:43 p.m. I am available between then and after 7 p.m. as I have to give my dog Charlie her insulin shots and scheduled feeding twice a day. On weekends I am available at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and anytime after 7 p.m. I offer dog walking, over night watches, as well as general care for the dog(s) whether it be scheduled feedings, scheduled dog walks, scheduled medication, etc. Anything you are looking for specifically, let me know your schedule, your dog(s) schedule, what you are looking for and I will let you know if I can bring the care you are looking for.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for a few years and i love it, I have 4 dogs they are all Toy Aussies and they are the world to me. I love being outside with them and most of all cuddling in bed with them, i would treat your dog like my own. Dogs are consider family and deserve all the love they can get! About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I currently don’t have any set in stone commitments but I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. Let me know what you need and we can figure something out! I have a truck so it’s easy to go somewhere safe for your pet if your neighborhood doesn’t have a good play spot. About: What sets me apart is the genuine care I have for animals. While this is my first year on Rover, I’ve been around and taking care of animals my whole life.
