We were very nervous, because Lola had never been left with a stranger before, and doesn't have the best attitude sometimes 😉 At the meet and greet, Joshua had his dog Brewster, who was very sweet and calm, but Lola was hissing and swiping every chance she had. Joshua had never watched a cat before but he was confident everything would be fine- and it was. Lola seemed to get very comfortable with Joshua very quickly. He was even able to pick her up, which we weren't expecting. Now that Lola is home, she seems very calm and has adjusted very well. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a pet, since childhood. My childhood dog's name was Wallstreet and our cat was Clara. My dog Leia is my first dog as an independent adult. I've had her for 10 years. I started a cleaning business since 2019 and my clientele grew from word of mouth from people I would house sit and pet sit for since 2016. During that time I also cared for a woman with dementia for two years, checking on her twice a day, cleaning, going on outings, and giving meds. I still have my cleaning business and am looking for a new side hustle to supplement my income. I love animals and people and have a lot of free time, so this just made sense!
