About: Around two years ago, my friend and I were coaching a Little Diggers Volleyball team in our local town when we saw some kittens in a storm drain. We didn’t see their mother, and we sat there for about two hours waiting for her when she didn’t show, we decided to rescue the kittens, and I brought 2 into my own home. For about a year and a half, I raised the kittens and absolutely loved them. I decided they would get more freedom at my grandparents, farmhouse, catching mice and snakes, and they are healthy and happy there now! About: What to say... I LOVE dogs/animals. I can't remember not having a dog as a pet and as an adult have always had at least one Scottie (Briar was my third Scottie). I have had the opportunity to have multiple animals as "family members" in my household for years. Now retired, I find myself with more time on my hands. In addition, a few years back my Cairn Terrier (Ferris) passed away - Briar became lonely, so we used Rover to find a few new playmates on occasion; he loved to play. The yard is a park like setting completely fenced in an awesome neighborhood with Landstrom Park just up the road which is a great place to walk your pets. I have the time, experience, passion and patience to care, putting an owner's mind at ease that "All is Well" with their furry family members. Since this description about me, Briar passed away; he was 14. March 16, 2005 - March 26, 2019. The place is now called Camp Briar in his honor. I work from home. So I am able to provide care for your fur babies in a fairly constant manner. Pets are never left unattended. Care is constant and consistent. I have a fenced-in yard that they have constant access to. They get lots of playtime and downtime when needed.

This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. About: I've been taking dogs for jogs since I was about 7 years old. By 12, I was THE go-to pet sitter in my mom's work circle, often doing week long stints during summers. Currently I am working part time at HEB trying to at least work 30 hours a week. My schedule varies from week to week but I get 2 weeks advanced scheduling so I will be able to adjust my calendar frequently. I can work on days that I am off, overnight before any late HEB shifts, and after work any day as well. If you need me to take care of your animal for any long period of time let me know 3 weeks in advanced so I may take days off. I live in a one bedroom apartment with a dog and a cat. The cat will cause no issues and I can separate them in rooms if needed. As for my dog he is a sweet little baby and is open to more furry friends. My complex has its own fenced in dog park if you would like your animal to free roam. There are also plenty of blocks with grass and an actual quiet park nearby.

I grew up in a home with multiple dogs—both small and large—so I’m very comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I previously worked at PetSmart as both a pet care associate and a dog trainer, where I gained valuable experience working with dogs of all temperaments, as well as cats and exotic pets. My training background allows me to better understand animal behavior, reinforce good habits, and handle pets with patience and confidence. Outside of work, I’m known for rescuing stray animals and even helping injured wildlife whenever I can—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have two dogs, two cats, and a snake of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets.
