About: I spent 3 years researching to train my dog , Walter Galway , he's a golden retriever and I can say the research paid off. He's my perfect doggo. I've also trained my friends dogs for free , I've done that plenty times. I also spent 1 year volunteering at an animal shelter to learn more Abt animal care. A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and love caring for them like they’re my babies. I also help watch my family and friends' pets when they’re out of town, so I’m used to giving animals lots of love and attention. You can trust that your pet will be safe, happy, and treated like family with me. I’m attending the university of the rio grande valley. However, I only attend on certain days and right now it’s summer so i’m free. I will make time. I will do my best to clean any mess the pets make and I am reliable to give them food and water and take on walks daily.
“She’s a GODSEND <3 •she was available last minute: family emergency came up and she took Lala Mae in like she was her own. •1:1 care: I had booked with another rover app dog sitter who cared for up to 8 dogs at a time. Estrella took care of my furbaby and gave her the attention she needed while under her care while providing a safe environment. •consistent updates: pictures galore and I loved them ALL! Felt reassured my pet was in great hands (: •Walks on walks on walks: my pet is a blue heeler mix and is in need of A LOT of exercise. About: I have experience with dogs and cats new born to senior. I have taking care of animals for over 5 years and enjoy every second of it! I am able to care for those with special needs and promise to take care of every pet with care and respect! (And make sure they have a lot of fun!!) I currently work very part time only on weekends in the evening. I am not in school so I have an open availability! I also wake up early and enjoy going on walks! I will always be around them and make sure they have a fun time with me while we are together. As well as constantly making sure they have plenty of water and food, as well as keeping multiple stations for using the restroom. For cats I have multiple litter boxes, I have puppy pads for little dogs and a big fenced backyard for bigger ones!

“Marcy is a Godsend😇! Her kindness and flexibility with sitting my babies was a life saver for me. Within 2 hours of having to depart for a business trip, a neighbor, who was wanting to sit my dogs, had an emergency that left me without a sitter. Oh my goodness… was I stressed! Thinking there is not a sitter who could possibly sit my babies with a late-evening, same-day booking for an immediate drop off after 7pm, I gave it a shot to check availability for sitters on Rover.
