“Saphire was GREAT! I forgot about booking my normal kennel for winter break, and ended up looking to Rover to find a place for my dog, Callie. I was a little worried about leaving Callie at another person's house; while she is housetrained, she has shredded all the dog beds I've gotten her in the past, and still gets into trash. She can also be aggressive with protecting her food, and become very defensive when around certain dogs. After reading a positive review of a similar dog, I contacted Saphire and she assured me that my dog was in good hands. Throughout the trip, I got picture updates from Saphire as well as a DVD of all the pictures and videos from Callie's stay there. Callie had a BLAST playing with Saphire's own dogs as well as the other dogs being boarded and fostered, with lots of outdoor playtime, and she was completely worn out when I picked her up. Saphire even managed to get a bath in before I picked Callie up, even though she hates baths! I would highly recommend Saphire, and definitely plan to contact her again next time I'm traveling!”

About: I have both large and small animal Vet Tech experience working for multiple veterinarians. I have worked at Texas Equine with horses in Brenham, TX as well as multiple small animal vets and shelters. I currently work from home so I am always available to spend time with and care for any animals including my own. About: Whenever I was in highschool I spent the whole school year at the vets office for a class. I have always loved all animals, and made sure that they were always safe and well cared for. I have cared for dogs and pets my whole life and have professionally worked with dogs for the last three years as a self employed dog breeder, groomer and care giver. Our home is equipped to watch over several dogs at a time and multiple dogs from each family. My husband and I both work from home so our pets and furry visitors receive lots of love and attention all day long. I am a full time pet caregiver in our home so our routine is structured and flexible based on your pets specific needs. A typical day in our home looks like the following: first potty break by 7:00am to run around in our fenced in yard and enjoy the cool morning weather. We then rotate going in and out for food, playtime, training time, and rest time throughout the day. Since I am fully focused on the pets I’m responsible for, I will cater our schedule to YOUR pets specific needs. We typically spend most of our afternoons inside since Texas is hot and our doggies deserve to rest in our temperature controlled puppy house. In the evenings we will have our last potty break typically between 9:00-10:00pm before lights out. We have a security camera in our puppy area to keep a close eye on the pets in our care to ensure safety and comfort. “Our Lab was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and were advised from our vet to keep him out of doggie day camp for the week for his well being and that of the other dogs. About: I’ve looked after all kinds of dogs since I was 10! from teensy weensy, pocket-sized to gentle giants! I’ve got experience in maintaining medications, PT, senior babes, foster dogs, getting to & from appointments & soooo much more! I’m currently in College, so I do have lots of extra free time! Just get with me & we’ll get you and your precious babies on the schedule! <3 I make sure my dogs are constantly feeling every ounce of love I can share with them! “Saphire was GREAT! I forgot about booking my normal kennel for winter break, and ended up looking to Rover to find a place for my dog, Callie. I was a little worried about leaving Callie at another person's house; while she is housetrained, she has shredded all the dog beds I've gotten her in the past, and still gets into trash. She can also be aggressive with protecting her food, and become very defensive when around certain dogs. After reading a positive review of a similar dog, I contacted Saphire and she assured me that my dog was in good hands. Throughout the trip, I got picture updates from Saphire as well as a DVD of all the pictures and videos from Callie's stay there. Callie had a BLAST playing with Saphire's own dogs as well as the other dogs being boarded and fostered, with lots of outdoor playtime, and she was completely worn out when I picked her up. Saphire even managed to get a bath in before I picked Callie up, even though she hates baths! I would highly recommend Saphire, and definitely plan to contact her again next time I'm traveling!”
