When other dogs are in my home, I make them feel loved. My home is a quiet place with nice music that leds me to write. When having visitors, every exercise is done in the backyard! About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born! Love animals and always have. If I could have any dog in the world it would be a Saint Bernard. They are just so big and huge, but for now I have a cute little mutt who is 13 and still energetic and healthy! I’ve had dogs jump on me, so I can handle big dogs. About: I have always loved pets. I have often pet sat for my friends or family. I owned my first dog at 13. I trained her myself as well as groom her myself. I would consider her my baby. Training my own dog has given me a better understanding of them and a greater respect for them. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from Irish Wolfhounds to different breeds I have found at animal shelters I love to play with animals and give them the love and support they need. I have fostered dogs for the past 2 years as well. I currently work full time at the Sheriff Department, my schedule is pretty flexible to work with. I do work during the day so I am available overnight anytime. I have a fenced yard and a year old puppy who loves to play with other dogs! I have a 9 yr old son who loves helping out with our dogs. Just calm, structure, and fun. 😊 Check with me for availability. I take a very limited number of dogs so I can give them individualized care, and holidays schedules fill up fast for me. I cannot take aggressive dogs. I require all client dogs to be crate trained, as we do have the pups spending only overnight in a comfy kennel for their safety. During the day, there is lots of play time and roaming around and exploring! I have cameras indoors and outdoors, carbon monoxide/fire alarms that alerts phones and emergency personnel, and other things to ensure the safest environment.
“This past weekend I boarded my dog Duke at Claudia’s home. Though Duke is a well behaved large dog, he doesn’t like anything outside of his normal routine. I have always been extremely hesitant to board him because I knew it would be extremely upsetting for him. Duke knew Claudia from all the home visits she does so I boarded him at her home to make him feel a little more comfortable with someone he already knew. Claudia sent me so many cute photos and updates throughout the weekend. Claudia went over and above with Duke and treated him like a member of her own family. She has a large beautiful back yard for the dogs to play in and also took Duke for walks. I’m so happy I can board my dog with Claudia instead of putting him at a boarding facility where he would be very upset the entire time. Claudia is one of the very few people I can fully trust to take care of my dogs and I’m so grateful I found her on Rover!”
About: I have never in my life not had at least one dog. I am experienced in raising and taking care of them as puppies and taking care of them in their twilight years! I also have experience in training gun and hunting dogs! I am currently a full time law student! I think taking care of and checking on your sweet fur babies will relieve all the stress from the day!
