As for caring for your pets, I will follow your instructions/ wishes to a T as long as I know what they are. I have a medium sized and extra large crate if boarding at my home is necessary. I will always disinfect the floors/crates/etc between clients.

I have done in house sitting and stop in sitting to include feeding, walking, and letting out for clients pets. At the moment I do not have my own so my off work availability is open to clients and their own pets!

About: I've been pet sitting for family friends since I was in middle school. When I graduated high school I became a dog bather and stayed with that position for two years, learning as much as I could about dog grooming. Afterwards I switched to pet retail and ranch work. Though rover doesnt offer the option, I also have experience caring for cows and horses. I'm honored to be a consideration in the important and stressful process of finding the perfect person to care for your pet. 🥰 I'm currently minimally employed, so my schedule is fairly free and clear! I have the occasional appointment or longer day needed up North, but I'm flexible and preparing for Rover to be my primary scheduling constraint. Before committing myself to any dog, I prefer to do a meet and greet with them with the pet parent present to make sure we're going to get along. With cats I can be a little more flexible since they will typically just hide if they decide they don't like me. I'll always ask for emergency contact and vet info. Any favorite treats and things to do on walks or with yard time is also a bonus! I'd love to give your animals the best time I can with my limited time with them! My dad also worked in dog walking, and we joked that his dogs knew him as Uncle Treats, so I'm just hoping to follow in his footsteps.
About: Hi, my name is Amy and I live in Lampasas, TX. I am getting back on Rover after a long absense. I had some personal challenges in where my husband was very ill- and a job change kept me unavailable. You will find that my service prices are flexible, and adjustable- not every Rover Sitter will let you know this or they are not aware. There are options on Rover to adjust cost- I want to be fair and believe each job is different. I price on distance, amount of pets, how long I am on the job. Our pets are important but they should not be a one size fits all cost to each client either. If you are please with my serve tips are appreciated! Though, not expected! Okay, moving on..if you want to know a little more about me, read on. When I care for someone's precious furbaby (ies) I make sure I follow all instructions given by pet owners. I ensure their babie(s) have plenty of water, hugs, pets, walking if needed, and play time. Its can be very stressful for some animals to be away from their family and I am sensitive to that. I also bring in mail, take out trash or put trash to curb on pick up days and water plants- at no extra charge. I have lots of experience taking care of families in many capacities. I have always had careers where I was in a caretaker role. I have been told numerous times that I give people a sense of peace when I am around them. People like that also have that effect on animals. I have had the opportunity to care for a variety of pets in my life thus far. Growing up my parents had a caymen, a ferrit, a pig, cats, and dogs of all shapes and sizes. I once begged my parents for a monkey and they almost bought me one! Whatever it is that fits your precious ones needs, I will follow your instructions with care. Your pet will feel loved and care for in your absense. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover for years! I was reading my baby book the other day and my mother wrote in there, as one of my first phrases was 'Bow wow". I am serious! I am one who believes that if you are going to be a pet owner, take the responsibilty. Some people think that dogs are just a dog. To me, they are like family. They are also heros. We see on a regular basis, heart warming stories where a dog has woke up its owners to warn them of a fire in their home. When I was a little girl I took off one day and went to a neighbors house. My mother was frantic looking all over for me and calling my name. Our dog , who looked like Benji- ran off to where I was and my mom followed. Our dog went to the house where I went to and waited on the steps at front door. I told my mom I was just coming over there to have a coke! Ha!ha! My experience administering medication yes, I have administered medicine to my own pets when they were under a vets care in the past, for injuries or illness. I also have experience administering meds to some dogs I have cared for. I'm very flexible! I am available for drop ins up to 30 min. or longer more for multi dog/cat, pet household. I can house sit on weekends with one to two weeks advance notice. Mornings, afternoon and evening I can give walks. I am not accepting pets in my home at this time. I do not have the space and my senior dog does better without other dogs around, she likes her space and not other new friends around! I want to respect the needs of my own fur babies :)
About: I absolutely love pets, I truly believe that every dog I meet or see I have a connection with them and I love it. I have 3 fur babies and I would walk them ALL the time and provide to their needs. I would make sure your pets are WELL taken care of and super happy at the end of the day. I am honest and Passionate most definitely, I do understand pet behavior, I am very flexible. I am very comfortable with feeding, playing, walking, and playing with dogs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I dog sat for family and friends. I fed, bathed, and walked dogs. I have a lot of experience with puppies as well. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I can board dogs anytime of the week with a days notice. I have a fenced yard with two friendly pups who are good with all dogs any size and age for them to play with. If need be I can also have a kennel to crate them.
