About: I’ve taken care of animals since I got my first cat at 9 years old. I adore the companionship and love animals give. Some of my best memories are centered around a fur baby and I’d love to make some memories with yours! I’m currently working full time but am able to check on during my lunch break and after work. My schedule on the weekends is very flexible and I’m typically available all day. Your pet will be my top priority when I am with them. I care for orher people's pets the same as I do mine because animals deserve love and safety. I will always listen to your instructions but I would love to give them treats, extra hugs, playtime and walks. “Honestly amazing! I was out of town when I noticed through our cameras that the autofeeder I had for the stray cats wasn't dispensing any food. It was a sudden request but Ashley was able to unjam the feeder and also offered to buy and refill the food when the food ran out. They even hid a package for me that was delivered while I was away so it wasn't stolen. For my first time using Rover I am highly impressed and thankful for Ashley. They additionally provide live updates and pictures during visits which is much appreciated. About: I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with a lifelong passion for animals. I started working with them at age 12 through 4-H, where I learned hands-on animal care and training. Before earning my BA in Psychology, I studied animal science at TTU for two years in hopes to become a veterinarian. I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, special needs, med administration, etc. Kitty will get love too! If I am house sitting or doing drop in visits while you are away, I can also take care of trash/recycling day, plants, mail. Just ask! Part of the reason we moved was so I could rescue animals. So far, just in Texas, we have rescued 120 dogs, cats, cows, and goats. 30 of the dogs and cats have gone on to be adopted in the Pacific NW and are loving their new lives. 😍 I can accommodate preparing/feeding their special diets if you have them on one (raw food, homemade dog food, etc).
