It was a sudden request but Ashley was able to unjam the feeder and also offered to buy and refill the food when the food ran out. They even hid a package for me that was delivered while I was away so it wasn't stolen. For my first time using Rover I am highly impressed and thankful for Ashley. They additionally provide live updates and pictures during visits which is much appreciated. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I got my first cat at 9 years old. I adore the companionship and love animals give. Some of my best memories are centered around a fur baby and I’d love to make some memories with yours! I’m currently working full time but am able to check on during my lunch break and after work. My schedule on the weekends is very flexible and I’m typically available all day. Your pet will be my top priority when I am with them. I care for orher people's pets the same as I do mine because animals deserve love and safety. I will always listen to your instructions but I would love to give them treats, extra hugs, playtime and walks. As you can see from my Iowa reviews I was well liked and had several repeat clients. I will go out of my way to accommodate. I have also had a several dozen clients in Texas since starting here. Rover doesn't always give you an accurate number if there are multiple visits, mulitple animals, cats only, holidays, etc. I will adjust it! *I also do cat care: rates will depend on the number of cats, the number of days, and if there is a dog also. I will give each person a custom rate based on these. House sitting for cats only isn't an option, I will give you a custom cat visit rate (let's face it, they don't need me there all night!) : ) You can be assured you will always get a very reasonable rate. ABOUT ME: A have a lifetime of pet care experience. I grew up with cats and dogs and have had both as an adult (so that is a lot of pet years. 174 in dog years, I think). I have had two different seniors with special needs (one is with me currently). I love them all! My pets are members of my family and I treat them as such. I will do the same for yours. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, special needs, med administration, etc. Kitty will get love too! Before earning my BA in Psychology, I studied animal science at TTU for two years in hopes to become a veterinarian. I carefully follow each pet’s usual routine including feeding schedules, exercise, medication, and any special instructions to help keep their experience as stress-free as possible. I have a dog-friendly yard for outdoor time with plenty of space for crates, cages, or litter boxes if needed. I have multiple rooms available in my home for pets who may need a quiet separate space to gradually get comfortable before interacting with other pets or exploring the home. I understand that every animal adjusts differently, so I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs and personality to help them feel secure. I routinely send photo updates for peace of mind!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and other small pets since I was 18. My family and friends have relied on me to dog/cat sit for a while now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! I also have 1 dog that I’ve adopted into our family. I am currently working remotely, Monday-Friday with my schedule allowing room for flexibility. I am also available most evenings and weekends anytime! During the busy school year, I can arrange drop-in visits as long as notice is provided ahead of time. I have a dog and 3 children who will love keeping your pets company! We now have a fenced backyard however, most services will be in your pet’s home on a drop-in as needed basis.
About: I grew up on a small farm taking care of various animals and I have loved animals ever since. When I got my own home I got my first indoor pets and cherish them as part of the family. I’m a teacher who will be free most of the day starting in June. I prefer walking in the mornings before the sun gets to strong but I am free to do drop ins most of the day.
