A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MY DOGS My dogs live inside with me! They sleep at the foot of my bed on my bed (until I've had enough and nudge them off) and are employeed full time as my indoor shadow. It's a necessary expense!!! PERSONAL HISTORY/INSIGHT I'm a die-hard loyal companion to my pups bc they are to me first! Never surrendered a single one of my pets no matter the alternative road I faced! Moved and couldnt keep my dog? Didnt move. Approved on home under terms: No Dog, my reply, "my dog and me or deal breaker". I commit whole heartedly and for LIFE! How many people can say that and it be truth? I was the little girl who got untrusting strays to follow her home which I did by singing song from the little mermaid and Andrew Lloyd webber songs. <--yes...u read that right. They have always trusted me and warmed up to me extremely easily. WISDOM/RESILIENCE Growing up...a neighborhood dog almost ended my life and guess what....I learned a lot on what NOT to do and kept the bond strong. What happened to me didn't phase me. From horses, to cats, to chickens and dogs I did it all. I then moved on to have 4 children and excited to show them what it looks like to care for animals of all types! I have a yard where pups can safely run, explore, and sniff to their heart’s content. We go on walks tailored to their energy level, play fetch 🎾, practice basic training and commands, and enjoy interactive toys and mental stimulation games. On warm days, dogs can cool off in a kiddie pool or splash around with the hose 💦. My own dog is friendly, well-trained, and comfortable around other dogs, helping create a calm and positive environment. I also offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, so your pet can stay comfortable in their own home if that’s what they prefer. During visits, I make sure they’re fed, let out, played with, and given plenty of attention and care. Whether I’m boarding, walking, visiting, or house sitting, I focus on patience, consistency, and kindness so every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I offer flexible availability throughout the week! I do step out for 3–5 hours a few days per week for work, but I always make sure pets are cared for before and after. I’m available mornings, and evenings and I keep my schedule updated so your pet gets consistent attention and care 💛 In your home and mine, I stick to whatever routine your pets already know—meals, treats, potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet time. I make sure they feel comfortable and loved, and I keep your home safe and clean while you’re gone. I send lots of pictures and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy.
About: I grew up with dogs of all different sizes and breeds along with the sweetest cats. I showered them all with love and affection as well as playing and walking the dogs. I am available all day and every day! I can take care of your little or big fur babies anytime and provide the attention and care needed! I have a fenced yard with four dogs that love to run around and play in. They love to chase each other around and are quite talkative to one another!
About: At a young age I began tagging along with my aunt to her dog training classes. I learned the ins and outs of dog (human) handling and how to show respect and love to animals. My family and extended family always had several animals, and the pets became an important part of my family by supporting me through difficult times. During my experience in the military, I pet sat on multiple occasions for peers that were deployed, underway, or visiting family in their home towns. I have a background check through the government and hold a security clearance. I am currently active duty military on terminal leave, transitioning to the civilian sector. My goal is to find a long term career to support my family; however, I need to find income until the hiring process is complete. For that reason, I believe Rover is the perfect job for me. I absolutely adore animals- I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 Guinea pigs of my own- and I cannot think of a better way to bring money in to support my family at this time. I am currently not working; being on terminal leave in the military means I am not working but still on contract through February. I anticipate (and hope) I will be hired in a long term career position in cybersecurity. Due to the nature of cyber security positions, it can take months to be hired on and I am eager to care for your animals in that time. However, it should be noted that my long term goal is an alternative career. The hope is to find a remote position and that will allow for me to continue with my Rover experience. My dogs are fed twice a day, have an automated water bowl that is connected to our hose outside as well as water indoors, and we enjoy playing in the backyard to exercise. My animals enjoy cuddles on the couch and playtime and I give them a healthy balance of each, depending on which animal (I have both elderly dogs and a puppy). For my clients, I am happy to safely and securely exercise your dog. This looks different for each client so I cannot give a blanket statement. I believe dogs should be leashed or fenced at all times for safety reasons and will absolutely do that with my clients dogs, as they are not familiar with me and may behave differently with me than their owners. I believe that even though I am employed by the client, I am still a guest in their home and will treat their home, animals, and belongings with respect and care. Being from the military, safety and security has been instilled in me as a priority at all times. I am trained in situational awareness to protect your animal while exercising. I believe animals give us so much of their heart and we owe it to them to give that love back and protect them and their well being.
About: I have experience through my own rescue puppy and Pet Smarts training program training and raising him from 6 weeks old to now just shy of 8 months old. I also have a 6 year old husky named Zeus, and have helped take care of my parents elderly dog Chuey who unfortunately has a collapsed trachea and arthritis. Having labs throughout my childhood, I've also had to care for dogs in the midst of a seizure. I am currently working part time on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to love and care for your precious furry friends! Due to having a puppy in training myself, as well as other animals in the house I am not boarding. However, I can house/pet sit, walk, feed, and play virtually any time! I love to tend to whatever needs are specific to your animal! If they need a lot of enrichment or they are very energetic, I have so much fun getting that lovely energy out with them! If they need more rest, gentle care, and supervision, I'm more than happy to carefully love your baby with lots of soft pets! Walks are also essential to any dog's routine, and I promise to take long ones when needed. As for cats, I strive to keep their environment as clean as possible so they can be more comfortable and hygienic.
About: I have experience with horses dogs, puppies, birds and cats. I have taken care of many peoples pets in home and out of home as they enjoy a stress free vacation knowing their pets are being taken care of. There will be an additional charge for horses, birds and fish tanks. Please let me know ahead of time if you have either. I have a schedule that allows me to pet sit or house sit for extended periods of time. I can also walk your pet on a daily basis. Or exercise your horse on a daily basis. My dog Tazzy is an indoor dog. She is a certified emotional support dog. She sleeps with me, travels with me most of the time. She loves all dogs and most kitties. Very well balanced.

About: Hey Y'all! My name is Jackie and I am a lover of all dogs! I currently have one rescue pup named Lucus who is my world. Most of my friends and family believe he has a better life than I do, which is totally true. I pride myself on ensuring all animals I surround myself with have the best quality of life. I currently foster and volunteer for Fort Worth Animal Care & Control as well as Saving Hope Rescue so any time I can help out a furbaby in need I will. While your pup is with me I will provide them with all my attention and love. We love to walk so daily walks are not a problem! We typically walk about 2 hours everyday. Your furry friend will be a welcome addition to my home where they are allowed on all furniture and in bed. I believe in a schedule so please make sure to provide me with as many details as possible so I can ensure I can keep your pups normal routine. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MY DOGS My dogs live inside with me! They sleep at the foot of my bed on my bed (until I've had enough and nudge them off) and are employeed full time as my indoor shadow.
