“Grace was phenomenal with our puppy. She is very attentive and I could tell she showed him so much love. This was the happiest he has been with a sitter thus far. Highly recommend!!”

“We would absolutely book with Olivia again! She took such great care of our mini long haired dachshund, was very friendly and prompt with communication, and was great about sending updates and pictures of our pup. Definitely highly recommend!”

“Mags was fantastic! Very quick with communication. She was accommodating to my drop/pick up times. Her house was very clean and the dogs she had were very socialized I would not hesitate to choose her again. If you need a sitter for a well behaved dog, please consider Mags.”

“Hi Sophia and Kevin, Thank you both so much for taking such incredible care of Bombón over the past two days! We were so happy to see how comfortable and happy he was with you. You truly have a special way with dogs, and it means the world to us to know he was in such good hands. He's already missing you, and we're so grateful for the peace of mind you gave us while we were away. We'll definitely be reaching out to book you again the next time we need a sitter. You're the best!”

“It was a wonderful experience again! My dog loves going there and we have piece of mind!!! They update us daily with pictures and/or videos! I would highly recommend them!”

“My dogs have a dog door and someone home pretty much all the time. They come and go out the door as they please and Cindy was able to provide a similar routine + her dogs = bonus friends! Cindy is a pleasure to work with. She is well equipped for the job and everything went smoothly. I I knew they were in good hands while I was away!”

“Charlie had a wonderful time with Clarice. She took her for walks cuddled with her and even let her sleep in the bed which she is accustomed to. We wouldn't hesitate to have Charlie spend time with her again.”

“Donna was a perfect match for my sweet elderly dog. I was tempted to not rate the stay, I don’t want everyone to know about her, she will get all booked up! She was amazing, sent pictures, kept in touch with me and eased my anxiety. She handled my girl and all her medication with ease. Will use her again!”

“My fur babies seemed to love their care takers. It was such a blessing to know Dixie and Ryder were being cared for and not stuck in a cage most of their time away from home. Rick and Cheryl are sweethearts. I will use them again.”

“Nicole was so great with my two babies! I am always so stressed when I leave them for a long period of time especially with previous bad experiences with other sitters, but I was much more at ease after meeting Nicole and after seeing how happy my babies were. They were plumb tired when I picked them up which is always a sign of a good time! I’m pretty sure they were sad to leave their new friends! I’m thankful for Nicole’s communication and kindness when taking care of them! We will definitely use her again. :)”

“A million stars. Brigitte and Wrigley ( her dog) are the sweetest they welcomed Cooper In and made him family while we were put of town. She sent lots of pictures and updates and was super accommodating to our busy schedule for pick up and drop off time. I know who will be pur first call when we need someone to watch Cooper again!!”

“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Five stars hands-down would trust Orlando with my dogs any day. I was so nervous to leave my fur baby the first time ever.. BUT Orlando and his family were amazing keeping me updated with my dog and sending me pictures and videos without me even asking! He listens he also does a meet and and greet, so your dog could get comfortable before their stay. I truly cannot thank you enough for giving me peace of mind on my trip away!”

“I cannot recommend Angela and her family enough! they immediately allowed my dog into their home and treated him as one of their own! Angela needs to be your new forever dog sitter! cause she sure is mine 🤗”

“Crystal and her family took great care of our dog over the holidays. Her dog is friendly, and her backyard has a nice tall fence and plenty of room to run around. We appreciated Crystal's responsiveness and the cute pictures she took of our dogs playing together. Our dog seemed happy, and we would book with Crystal again.”

About: Growing up my mom and grandma have always taken in strays and we have raised all kinds of kitties. I have experience with cats in all phases of their lives. Currently, I also own both a cat and dog (I know) with a strong understanding of cat behaviors.

About: I have a senior cat who is 15 years old who my fiancee and I have had for several years, and my fiancees family has had since she was a year old! I have been around young cats as well, growing up with several cats since I was very little!
“Kara did a great job caring for my pets and keeping us updated with the details of their care. Professional, clear communication, and quick responses made the process easy! She was willing and able to work with us on the rates of care for our kitties, as well as caring for our more unique animals- gecko lizard and guinea pigs. Highly recommend her!”

“Stacey was excellent in every aspect during her drop in visits with our three dogs and cats. She kept a very close eye on a skin irritation that had developed on one our dogs and she updated us with pics daily. She was truly concerned with the health of our pets. We could not recommend her more. She is fantastic.”

“Danielle took wonderful care of Hunter while I was away on vacation. She made sure he was safe, well-fed, and showed him genuine love and affection. I felt completely at ease knowing Hunter was in such caring hands. I’d highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: My first pet was a cat. He adopted us when I was five, and was my first real experience with earning the trust and love of an amazing companion. Growing up, family members had cats who allowed me the honor of being in their company. My second cat came to me once I was an adult. He was with me for 17 years. I am not ready just yet, but I do hope to have another purr box join the family one day.
“Played with our cat the whole time every day she went for a visit. She even went above and beyond by helping with the litter box. we will definitely ask Mary for drop-in visits in the future.”

“Elizabeth was tremendous! Super quick to respond, detailed with her visit reports, and overall a very kind person - really helped us stay at ease while we were away. And our kitties were in great spirits when we got home! Thanks again Elizabeth!”

About: I have cared for my daughters cats at times when she goes out of town. They eat at a certain time so I go over before 6pm and play with them and then feed them. Change and clean out their litter boxes. Make sure if they made a mess to clean it so she doesn't have to. I own 3 cats myself they are outside cats but they are well fed and water everyday.
About: Hello! I’ve had to take care of over 15+ dogs in the past 10 years. From giving birth all the way to the end of their story. I have a lot of experience from large to small and have had my best friend Jax the labradoodle for a good 10 years, I taught Jax and had him potty trained in 3 months as well as teaching him tricks like sit, shake, roll over, and speak. I am very compassionate because I always remember a quote that says “He/she might only be here for a part of your life, but for him you are his whole life.” Which warms my heart because it is so true. With that being said, I always strive to make sure that every decision I make is for the benefit of your furry friend!!! Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I’ve always loved being around animals. I make time each day for walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I’m happy to work pet care into my schedule and treat every pet like they’re my own! I care for every pet like they’re my own—with lots of patience, attention, and love. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just keeping them company. I also make sure your home is left just as I found it!

“Linda was great! She watched our two dogs and they really seemed to love her. She sent some awesome videos and pictures and even played training games with our very timid boxer to get her more comfortable around her—and it worked! I’d highly recommend her!”

Stephanie was so kind and understanding whenever I had questions or felt a little unsure, and she kept me updated whenever I asked. About: Yup, I was that kid who dressed her puppy in doll clothes, I promise not to do that unless you want me to. Happy Tails I’m flexible with my hours. I'm that person who brings home every stray. So….My husband wants us to have less animals so this way I have time to love on yours. I have a fence for dogs to play and do there business. We prefer to crate the dogs at night if at all possible when your baby stays with us. When I come to the door I hope your pet will be happy to see a friendly face.

“Super caring and attentive pet sitter. I took my puppy to her three days a week so I could go to work. I could not stand thinking about leaving him at home alone when he was only eight weeks old. Elisa took him outside every couple of hours. She made sure he was loved and comfortable and did not have to cry it out. He is now 10 weeks old and strong enough to be on his own at home when I go to work but my doggie became good friends with her doggy and enjoys playing with other little doggies that come in for doggy daycare. So I’m going to continue bringing him to Elisa for as long as I possibly can. He lights up and gets so excited to see her when I drop him off. I know he is in good hands”

“Grace and her husband were excellent! This is the first time my little 16 1/2 year old Dash has ever stayed in a home without either of his 2 mommas with him, and it looks like he felt at home with them. Grace was really good about keeping me updated and sending pictures throughout the day. I was never worried about him being safe and happy at all. Thanks to you, Grace, we were able to get through a very difficult day (my nephew's funeral service) without the added stress of having to worry about my Dash. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.
“Angela always takes such good care of Bixby. We deeply appreciate the extra care and communication she gives regarding our small puppy. We're happy to rebook and trust he'll be well taken care of every time ❤️😁”

I’m also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Years of caring for animals have taught me patience, responsibility, and confidence working with pets of all temperaments. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I’m committed to providing personalized care that keeps them happy, healthy, and on their normal routine. In my free time, you’ll usually find me running, hiking, or spending the day at the river, so I’m always excited to get outside with energetic pups. Whether your pet enjoys long walks and adventures or prefers relaxing at home, I’m happy to match their pace. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet parent’s needs. “Being new to the Rover community, Jenny was patient, helpful, and very responsive, answering all of my questions and concerns. I was a little worried at first, that my 60lb high energy dog might be a bit too much for any walker, but after the first walk, Jenny put my mind at ease. Jenny is very punctual and will treat your pet as her own. I already booked Jenny for the following week and plan to only use her for all of my dog’s needs!”

“Andrew has been amazing! He’s so personable and reliable, and I have zero worries when he’s walking my dog. I’m definitely a very anxious dog mom, especially since my dog is 75 pounds and can pull hard on the leash, but Andrew is incredibly patient and handles him with no problem at all. Even when my dog decides to be a little stubborn and a jerk, Andrew is always calm, kind, and attentive. He truly puts me at ease and makes sure my dog is well taken care of. He’s also very flexible and accommodating, which I really appreciate. I’m so grateful to have found him!”

About: I have always had animals in my life. My sister and I were adopted by our first cat when I was five. As an adult, my kids have included a border collie who passed at 17, a beagle mix who passed at 16, and a cat who passed at 16. All of whom were with me since babyhood. I currently have two four-year-olds: a border collie and a lab/great pyrenees. I don't know that I deserve all of the love these kids have given me. I work remotely, full-time, but it slows down for several months after the holidays. Between January and May, I have a fair amount of downtime. I would love to fill this time helping to keep the pet population happy and engaged. I know we all have different ideas of how pets should be cared for; however, I am a bit of a spoiler. My pets are some of the most important living creatures in my life, and I would assume you feel the same about yours.

About: I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve been around animals since I was 5 years old, growing up caring for ranch animals, dogs, cats, and even ferrets. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I live a very active lifestyle. I’m an avid runner and extremely into fitness, so staying consistent, disciplined, and energetic is already a huge part of who I am. Taking care of animals naturally goes hand in hand with that lifestyle because I genuinely enjoy being outdoors, going on walks, staying active, and keeping pets engaged and happy. I take animal safety and comfort very seriously both inside and outside of my home. I have a fully fenced patio area that provides pets with a secure outdoor space for fresh air, playtime, and exercise while staying safe at all times. I also have two dogs of my own who are very friendly, socialized, and used to being around other animals. However, I understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs, so my dogs can always be safely crated or separated if necessary to ensure visiting pets feel comfortable and stress-free.

I’ll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. I’ve done dog walks and pet sitting for over five years and have LOVED every step! I’m so excited to join Rover and provide exceptional care to your babies, to love them and protect them as if my own! You can be sure that if your pets are in my care they will be well-loved and taken care of. I enjoy volunteering my time with local dog rescues, hiking as well as spending time with my family. Thank you and see you soon!

“I wish I could just copy and paste the same amazing review over and over. Stephanie cares for my dogs like they were her own, it sounds cliche but it’s true. I would recommend her hands down.”

“She has my baby spoiled rotten. My Great Dane is older now & requires a little extra attention. Isabel is great with her. Her Family is good with my baby. She was even accommodating when we were unable to bring my dog to her. She did walking service.”
