“Wes was absolutely amazing, he really understands and loves dogs. He made my anxious pup feel right at home. I got lots of pics and it was obvious that my pup was having a great time - lots of long walks and play. I will definitely book with Wes again. I’ve never felt more confident that my fur baby was getting excellent care.”

“There are just so many good things to say about Becca. From the beginning to the end of the stay, communication was superlative in my opinion. She included daily (sometimes twice daily) text, videos and pics. Admittedly, we were concerned about leaving our 100 pound, hyper Labrador...he is just alot to handle (also left his lil side-kick buddy-she is no issue) but with her communication and outdoor video pics, we knew we had a winner! Her set up is attached to her home. We really liked having her and her husband right there. The dogs, and other animals, are boarded, very professionally I might add. Our dogs were released into their own play area and yard where they could see other dogs, yap at each other, and socialize in a very safe and controlled way. The boarding area was a nice "Den" clean and cool in temperature. Our dogs stayed together. In all of my years of boarding, I have never actually had a walk through. Becca invites you in and shows you around...very transparent in her setup. I would not hesitate to use her again. Great experience!”

“Our dog, Shiner, had the best Christmas Ever with Judy and his new friends. I wasn’t quite sure he was going to want to come home. A big thank you for taking such good care of him. There is nothing better than being able to leave town and know that your dog is in the best care.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little hesitant at first. Michael and Julie suggested we meet at their home so we could see where Moxie would be staying and make sure she got along with their dog, Chompers, which immediately put our minds at ease. We brought Moxie over a few days early and she and Chompers got along perfectly right away. They have a great setup with a big backyard, and Michael took the time to explain how everything works since they’ve been doing this for years. Drop-off and pickup were easy, communication was great, and we received amazing photos and updates while we were out of town. Since this was our first time leaving Moxie with anyone, it meant a lot to feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again!”

“Malu and her family took exceptional care of our pup for two weeks. He wasn't the easiest guest this time around, as he developed a hotspot a few days prior to his stay. They were incredibly attentive, making sure he was comfortable, monitoring the condition closely, and taking great care to help it heal without worsening. Malu also sent regular updates and pictures, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dog was being treated like part of the family. I would highly recommend Malu to anyone looking for a loving, home-away-from-home environment for their dog. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she provided.”

“Michael took great care of my dogs, 2 mini golden doodles. They came back home extremely happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend Michael for your dog boarding needs. Thank you!”

“Lucia took excellent care of my 1 1/2 year old Wheaten Terrier. She has two puppies of her own and the 3 got along so well. Lucia sent us pictures of our puppy on walks, playing, and napping, about every two days. Pictures helped me know our puppy was happy and in good hands. I highly recommend Lucia.”

“Angie took my puppy Franklin very last minute and treated him like he was one of their own. Her and her family were super sweet and very understanding when we were late for our time window due to car troubles. When I picked up Franklin he was happy and sleepy from all the fun had!”

“Chuck was able to accommodate a last minute booking and was flexible with our pickup time when our return drive took a little longer than planned. Would definitely book again in the future!”

“Lacy was amazing with our two boys. We have an older Lab and a 6yr old Jack Russell. Her pups played with them like they were old friends. She sent plenty of pictures so I knew they were being treated well. I’d definitely use Lacy again. I can’t recommend her more than she is terrific! Her love for dogs is real and amazing’. Will use her again when we come to visit. Thank you Lacy”

“Lillyann took the very best care of our most precious fur babies! She was very responsive, sent frequent updates, the furries were relaxed and comfortable at home. Highly recommend!”

“Paula instilled confidence in their ability to care for my 2 dogs, 1 is a 14 y.o., who needs eye drops 2x a day as well as arthritis tablets 2x a day, and they did a great job of keeping up with the meds for my aging pup. They kept my small dogs on harnesses when outside for potty time, so they couldn't slip out of their wrought iron fence, and safe from falling in their beautiful pool. (These extra measures would not be a problem with large dogs). Plenty of pictures were sent during our short stay, and the dogs came home happy. I felt very comfortable making minor adjustments to our pickup times, and their flexible schedule. Would highly recommend this couple and their 2 girls.”

“Christine was so great with my little guy!! She was extremely caring and attentive. I will absolutely book with Christine again! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Chewy 🫶🏻”

“Leilani was awesome! She sent me plenty of updates and took care of my dog! She worked with me on my budget and was flexible when my flight was delayed by a few hours. Highly recommend!”

“Larissa, James, and family + Cash (the golden) are a great bunch! We are so happy to have found them via Rover, the children are loving with dogs and they enjoy spending time with our labrador. Cash and our lab have such a great time together for daycare as well as overnight visits, and I always bring my lab home exhausted. We are very particular about who we use to watch our dog, and we spent time meeting their family and vetting them as dogsitters, and we could not be happier. The yard is perfect for the dogs to run in, they live in a nice home, in a nice gated neighborhood, and Larissa was always available and attentive if I needed anything while I was away.”

About: I have been a dog foster for eight years in the Dallas area with Take Me Home Pet Rescue. I fostered at least a dozen dogs, but seven in particular needed special attention to make them ready to be great pets. I spent time on socialization, behavior, obedience and at least four of them got their basic Canine Good Citizen certification. Fostering gave me the opportunity to learn about various breeds, behaviors and work with dog behaviorists, dog day cares and behavior vets. I have owned four rescue dogs and taken them through the Canine Good Citizen program.:two of them through the third level. My tripawd dog, Rango, has done Rally at the novice level. And Lumi, my most recent rescue from PAWS, is also CGC Certified and ready to do some therapy work once she gets over her car-sickness. I have learned so much from my fostering experiences and working with various dogs. All the training is very positive and relationship-based. I am not trainer, but happy to work with your trainer. After moving to Dripping Springs, I have kept some friends and neighbors dogs and now adding some dog sitting into my substitute teaching schedule. Your dog will stay with Lumi (three year old Lab mix) and Rango (an eleven year old border collie and Aussie mix). We have a nice fenced, shaded and good sized back yard with birds and squirrels. We walk in our park and native woods behind our house almost every morning after breakfast. Our one-story home has mostly all linoleum plank vinyl flooring. I feed the dogs apart twice a day and there is no food aggression. They take treats together and they have become bonded. Our neighborhood is quiet and a nice mix of all ages with homes and quarter acre yards. I am an artist who works from home and I substitute teach art and early elementary at our ISD. My schedule will show booked substituting and dog sitting. I will stay home on days I know I'm keeping your dog. Your dog will get a walk, play with my pups and get some TLC. Because I teach, I also have security and background clearance with the school district. Your dog should be good with other dogs, house trained, spayed/neutered and a natural initial level of separation anxiety that will wane. Because of my fostering experience with dog transitions, I ask first-time pups and parents to come see us, our house and yard to make sure it's a good match for everyone. When a dog comes and goes with their owners, they are far more secure coming a second time and being left. I want a successful visit for everyone and look forward to repeat visits. I will treat your dog with care, love and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I substitute teach and on days I'm not teaching or know I'm boarding, I'll stay home. I may run a quick errand, especially if you have a multi-day stay, but I will be home maybe doing my art, maybe working in the back yard with the dogs in the back roaming around while I work. I have a fenced back yard that is shady and secure. I can crate your dog as needed. I have two dogs who are friendly and playful, but submissive and give their guests space. I will feed all dogs in separate areas. If I go run a quick errand, I will make sure the dogs go outside and I'll check in with you beforehand about crating or separating. I will walk each dog separately once during the day, usually in the morning. If your dog has a bed, feel free to bring it and if well potty trained, it can bunk in the bedroom with us so it is part of the pack. Some dogs want to sleep in the bed and really depends on how the dogs get along, especially the first night or two as it does take natural adjustment time.

“Branden and his family took excellent care of my dogs! They sent regular updates and pictures and it really helped reassure me that my dogs were in good hands during my vacation!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Wonderful, loving couple who pampered my Chloe! Great communication, lots of pictures. Upfront careful evaluation to make sure we were a good “fit” and Chloe would be comfortable and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Sherri was absolutely fantastic! Our Poppy is still so small and requires a great deal of care and attention, and Sherri was exceptional in providing us updates, the best pics, and most importantly loving our Poppy in our absence. And dog owner would be so fortunate to have Sherri care for their fur babies! She is the best!”

“Lilyanna was amazing! Even though both of us had hectic weeks going into my time away from home she was communicative and she sent so many pictures of my girls. When I got home they were happy and relaxed and I could tell they had been well cared for. Thanks Lilyanna!”

That’s always a relief for me. My 3 dogs are so happy to see him. He has been watching them for 4 years now!! Thank you!”

About: My home was the safe haven for poor stray cats. I’d always bring them in my home so they stay safe. Cats are great! I’ve once housed 10 cats; 2 mothers, 2 of my own personal kitties, and the rest were kittens. I’m patient with them, and understand cats vary between person to person. The only reason I don’t own a cat now is simply because my boyfriend is allergic. Ugh, I love kitties!

“Kadee was awesome! She was available at super last minute notice. Wonderful communication and provided awesome updates of the cats while I was gone. She’s super sweet and did a wonderful job, the boys loved her. I would 100% recommend her and will definitely be hiring her again.”

About: From an early age, I've had a deep care for animals of all shapes, species and sizes. My initial experience started with the local stray cats and dogs, newborn kittens, and even elderly and sick pets. Gradually my love for animals expanded as I set out to receive my bachelors degree in Marine Science from UT Austin. Furthermore, I had the fortune of volunteering at an animal rehabilitation keep where I tended to injured and ill exotic animals and I currently volunteer at a non-profit horse ranch in my free time (safe to say - no mess is a match for me!) I'm a mother to two cats; Pan, a two-year old orange male with more energy than a toddler, and Miona, a 10-year old japanese bobtail who resembles more of a bunny than a cat. As an overprotective mother myself, you can rest assured that your pet is in great hands as I provide constant updates and tons of cute pictures of your furry friend while you're away. I truly adore all animals and understand that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and routine so I also take pride in adapting my care to ensure each animal is more than content! I currently work a hybrid job so my schedule is quite flexible when needed! I am available for boarding anytime on the weekends and often on the weekdays. If there is a specific time you require, I will gladly mold my schedule to accommodate yours! Safety is my number one priority with your fur baby and I guarantee to treat them as one of my own! Pictures of each activity will be provided for your reference and play dates are guaranteed, no matter the age. Whether your pet prefers to curl up on the couch or play fetch, I can guarantee they will be in good hands. I also offer a safe, enriching environment in my own neighborhood, which includes plenty of walking trails and a fully fenced area for potty breaks and meeting new friends!

About: DOGS WITHOUT LOVE ARE LIKE HUMANS WITHOUT PURPOSE! I absolutely love dogs. I have a thirteen year old miniature Australian Shepard who thinks he is my third child and is treated as such. I am 47 years old and have a rewarding career in plastic/reconstructive surgery, but also realize that caring for fur babies is yet another true passion in which I truly enjoy! Fur babies need lots of love and attention as well as activity through play dates, park time, hiking, walking swimming etc. Additional Services Include: Groomer drop off and pick up, vet visit transportation and attendance, medication administration and bathing are also offered. I am also available for meet and greets preceding scheduled services. I am available on nights, weekends and holidays. I DO NOT board more than one family’s dogs at a time. Therefore, you do not have to worry about safety. It is in the best interest of your fur baby to not be exposed to others in which could result in physical injury and or harm and or contagious illnesses. Rest assured, your fur babies are completely safe with me. Pictures and reports of your fur babies are sent to you on a daily basis! Fur babies should feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners much like a doggie vaca! An experienced pet sitter that you can get to know, trust and feel comfortable with whom is much like family is a necessity! I work in the medical field and have the ability to adjust my flexible schedule to accommodate my pet clients needs and or requests on a client to client basis. At the present time-I am not offering boarding services in my home. I believe pets feel more comfortable and at ease in their own homes where they are familiar with their surroundings and specific care instructions will vary per client request which is discussed during our meet and greet session.

About: IttyBittyPups under 15lbs will have fun and be safe with me! I have only two spots for IttyBittyPups at a time, so you can feel safe knowing your babies are given plenty of one-on-one attention. No young children in the house, no cats, no larger dogs; just my two tiny Yorkies for your baby to play with! Doggie door stays open all day (weather permitting) and they have a full, securely fenced back yard to play in! I monitor them closely to make sure don’t get overheated, which small dogs are more apt to do. I’m glad to help continue any potty training that you are currently doing for your IttyBittyPup…Come play! I am happy to schedule a one-hour free playdate here for your reassurance; you can stay and watch the pups play while we have coffee ☕️🙂 I am home all day, so your IttyBittyPup will never, ever be left alone (except in case of some sort of emergency, and in that case, I have emergency backup people in-house, secure crates, and I will contact you immediately!) In case of any emergency requiring evacuation, I will protect your baby like my own family! I am all about dogs, so they will get plenty of playtime and cuddles from me and my two tiny Yorkies 💕💕 They will also be allowed on the furniture, which is fully protected with waterproof / washable covers. IttyBittyPups arriving before 8am will get a group leash morning walk. IttyBittyPups staying overnight will get a second group leash walk around 7pm or later, to avoid the heat. I have a doggie door that stays open all day, weather permitting, and a securely fenced in back yard with netting above to protect IttyBittyPups from birds of prey! My two tiny Yorkies LOVE to run and play and wrestle raucously, but gently, with other small dogs. The largest total number of IttyBittyPups here at any given time will be four dogs. So you can be sure your little dog gets the cuddles and attention they deserve!
“I had an excellent experience with Alexandra. She took such great care of my dog and treated him like her own. I received regular updates and adorable photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home very happy. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“I am 100% sure that there is not a better place for Maggie to be than with Claire. Maggie was waiting for me in the mornings to be ready to leave the house and go to day care with Claire and her dogs. Claire sent me pictures and video showing me what a good time Maggie was having. She even took Maggie for long walks. Claire has a very nice property that is perfect for dogs. I can't be happier that Claire can take care of Maggie.”

“Lucia did an amazing job with our Yogi! She kept us updated on him and sent lots of photos while we were away. We’re so blessed to have found her and will definitely be using her again next time we are out of town!”

About: I have always had a conscientiousness and innate knowledge for dog care and connection. I treat and love every dog as if it were my own which means....they are family. Because of my lifelong love for pets, I worked for a pet nutrition company for years where I focused on pet care and well-being. I interacted and learned from trainers, groomers and pet professionals. I am comfortable with dogs that are big and small, young and old, and any breed. And...while I don't "own" a cat, I am happy to care for them too! I will care for your pets as if they were my own and I will do everything it takes to make sure every furry face has an ear-to-ear smile and everything they need to be healthy, safe and content. My doggo and I recently moved back to Texas from Colorado and are enjoying being back with family here. As we continue to settle in, I would love to help you and your family in your pet sitting and/or feeding and walking needs. My availability is flexible and wide and I'm here to help take care of your pups and kitties! I am extremely conscientious about pet safety and welfare so you can rest assured that your fur kids are in competent and capable hands. If there are emergencies or urgent situations, I have the maturity and confidence to remain calm and address the need quickly. Additionally, if you would like your dog to have a playmate during my visit, I have a very "dog-friendly" dog who loves to play and would be more than happy to offer her services. (This would only be per your request)
“I hit a home run with Shima! I have an 8th month old German shorthair pointer with high exercise demands daily. Shima was looking to gain knowledge in this field and has been walking, running and training my pup for a month now 2-3 times a week. She does an exceptional job with him and is patient to his needs! Working with a GSP can be one of the toughest breeds to work with. I come home and my pup (Troy Aikman) is happy and relaxed! I work a lot during the week so it is relieving to know he is in such good hands. I would highly recommend Shima for your needs. Troy lights up with energy when she shows up! Thank you Shima!”

“Isabella and her mom were wonderful in communicating and supporting us and Houston in a last minute bind. Loved having them walk our baby and would absolutely recommend.”

About: New to Rover but caring for pets and homes locally as if they were my own has been part of my life for years. I know how important it is to trust the person you’re leaving your pets with and I take that to heart. I’m patient, reliable, and pay close attention to the little things that keep pets happy and homes feeling cared for. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including playful puppies and gentle senior pets who may need extra time, medications, or a softer touch. Beyond pet care, I’m respectful of your home and keep everything tidy so you return to a space that feels just the way you left it—or a little better! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life because I work remotely from home. That means I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, whether they need extra attention, medication, or just a reassuring presence. Having animals around just makes my days better, so it never feels like a job to me. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I keep pets on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That means regular meals, walks, playtime, and as many snuggles as they can stand:)

About: I've had experience taking care of dogs as well as my own. I've helped train my dog when she was a puppy and have spent time watching her on my own for days at a time. I am an active person and love to spend my time outdoors and would love to get some exercise with some furry friends. I am currently working part-time while also studying to get my real estate license online. I would love to spend my free time outside and hanging out with some cute doggies. I can fit pet care into my full week most of the time! I take my dog outside when she needs to potty as well as walk her once a day. I fill up her food bowl twice a day and her water bowl as needed. I know how to clean any accidents pets might have too.
“This was my first time using Rover. I can’t recommend Jessica enough! My situation was a little different; we are visiting family in Marble Falls but my husband and I spent a few days in Austin and needed someone to walk our dog. We didn’t have personal interaction with Jessica but my mother in law did and said she was very polite and professional. So much so they she shared her information with the neighbors. Thank you Jessica.”

About: My mother was a breeder for all sorts of dogs my entire upbringing, so learning dog body language is second nature! I’ve also been around all sorts of bully breeds and own one myself! So not bully prejudice here! I also have loads of chihuahuas, so I feel I’m comfortable working with a variety size of pets, and numbers. I’m also good with cats! So if you have a mixed household, it’s no extra sweat! From mastiffs, to huskies, German Sheppards, blue heelers, collies, to pit bulls, bull terriers, bulldogs, chihuahuas, weenie dogs, greyhounds, and pugs, i feel I can take care of them all! I also babysit for a family on Wednesdays, so the rest of the week, I’m pretty set! I’ll let them know a week prior so nothing gets confused! I’m all for safety! Knowing what foods are poisonous to animals, and very alert on potentials escapes! How to open a door with my whole body to stop kitties from escaping, or puppies from booking it. I also like to jot notes down just in case there’s something your pet is allergic to, or can cause tummy issues, to keep note of. Or really anything that’s note worthy!
About: As a dog mom of 2, I take a lot of pride in treating your pets like they are my own. I know the importance of great pet care and great communication, and am very comfortable around all animals. I am work from home so am flexible in my ability to stay and take care of your animals, and keep them on their normal schedule. I am happy to stay with your pets while you’re out of town, as well as feed/walk/play and take care of any necessary needs of your pet.

“We had a great experience with Maricela's boarding care for our dog Rocky. She sent us updates often, and shared photos of Rocky with us. Rocky looked so happy and in good hands! Thank you so much Maricela. We will definitely use your pet service again.”

“Monique is wonderful, and I will definitely use her again! She went out of her way to communicate we me, learn about my dogs, and provide excellent care to them while I was away. It was so nice that I didn’t have to worry about my dogs while I was on my trip. I cannot recommend her enough!”
“Nikki did a fantastic job taking care of our dog. Would HIGHLY recommend her. It was our first time leaving our 7mo old puppy so we weren’t sure how he would do. Nikki and her dogs took great care of him and he had a blast. Kept us updated with frequent photos and videos as well.”

About: I have had Labradors all my Life. I just recently lost my soul dog, I am not ready to get a new pet of my own, but I would love to open my heart to love on some new furry friends. I am a recently retired school teacher, and I work part time from home. We have a beautiful fenced in backyard with a pool where your baby can play, swim if they want, and will be greatly loved and cared for. I do not have any other pets in the home and will only sit with one dog at a time. I am happy to leash walk your dog daily, if that is something they would enjoy. As a retiree, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide regular attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I do not have any other pets at home, and I prefer to only keep one at a time so I can give your baby the one on one special attention and love they deserve. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own beds, and or their own crate at night. No puppies or chewers please.
“Allison and her Husband were so amazing to our pups. They sent us pictures and detailed updates every day about what the doggos were up to and how everyone was getting along, since Allison has a dog of her own, and had another rover at her house. She assured me she would introduce everyone appropriately and figure out play style to make sure everyone got a long. We couldn't have been happier to have our dogs with a little pack and a pair of responsible owners to watch over them while we were on our trip. Thank you so much for loving our doggos!”
