“Not enough adjectives to describe Boyd's vacationat Kyle's!! . Kyle is energetic, warm, enthusiastic about what he does and welcomed us heartily. He had absolutely everything my boy loves: wide open spaces ti run, a large pool and smaller plastic one and always other pups to play endlessly with! Boyd paired up with one of Kyle's pups who matched his energy level and large size and they literally played until they both collapsed! Kyle sent many snapshots that captured Boyd playing and sleeping ( next to his fave pal!) Kyle was perfectly flexible when pickup time was a bit late due to traffic from the airport. I will most definitely be calling Kyle again in the future!!!”

“I can’t recommend Kelly enough! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even with my last-minute request. He was thoughtful in understanding Rambos behavior and needs during drop off and kept me updated with frequent photos throughout the week. His dog Jasper was wonderful with Rambo and they seemed to be having so much fun running in the huge backyard and playing together. It was clear Kelly cared about my pups wellbeing and ensured he had an abundance of attention, exercise and playtime. I felt at ease knowing Rambo was in such good hands!”

“Irina was so great with my dog! She provided many updates and photos of how she was doing and kept me in the loop! My sweet girl seemed to have a great stay with Irina and her pup!”

“Justin is a wonderful, caring, and compassionate person. He was wonderful with our little dog, who has separation anxiety. He did a great job of sharing w/ photos & video how at home and at ease she was in a short time while in his care. This was our second time to use his services. We highly recommend him as a competent and kind person. A++++++ care taker!”

About: Hi, I’m Wes, a passionate animal lover with years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve fostered several pets and have also volunteered at animal shelters, helping animals in need and participating in fundraisers for their care. I’m experienced in administering medication and understand how to provide the special attention that pets need, whether it’s a playful companion or a more sensitive pet. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities, so you can trust that they’re in good hands while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry family! Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, and I make sure to prioritize it with consistency and attention. I structure my day around the needs of the pets in my care, ensuring they get regular feeding, exercise, and playtime, whether that’s walks, fetch, or just cuddling. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet, adjusting to their specific routines and needs. Whether it’s administering medication, going on walks, or providing companionship, caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and seamlessly integrate into my everyday life. As a sitter, I prioritize creating a comfortable and familiar environment for pets, whether in my home or my client’s. In my home, I ensure a safe, pet-friendly space with plenty of toys, cozy resting areas, and a consistent routine that mirrors their usual schedule. In your home, I respect your space while maintaining your pet’s regular routine, providing them with plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. I always follow specific instructions for feeding, medication, and care to make sure your pet feels secure and well taken care of. My goal is to make them feel at ease while you’re away!

“Katherine was awesome! This was our first time leaving our puppy with a sitter and her experience and photo magic put us at ease! Katherine did a great job providing us with updates and our puppy loved playing with Katherine’s dog. Our puppy has a big personality and Katherine was the perfect sitter for the task!”

“Bailey K - Very attentive and caring. Kept us informed and send numerous pics of KC playing with her pets. We will rebook with Bailey K when we’re in need of an overnight stay or two! Thanks,”

“Claudia took excellent care of our pup during an extended stay of almost 2 weeks. She sent us regular updates with photos, and went above and beyond to make our doggie feel safe and part of the family. Our pup returned happy and relaxed, having made great friends with the other dogs and family members. We would highly recommend Claudia as a pet sitter.”

About: Hi there! 👋🏼 My name is Brenda. I grew up in a small town surrounded by animals—cats, dogs, chickens, and horses. I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, both at home and professionally as I used to be a veterinary technician for four years. I’m now a stay-at-home mom, but my love for animals hasn’t changed I still love being around pets and would be so happy to help care for yours! Pet sitting is the perfect way for me to stay connected to animals while also being able to stay at home with my baby girl. Bilingual As a stay at home mom my schedule is super flexible, and I can easily accommodate you and your pet’s needs! I am available Monday through Sunday. Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bed—our cat loves to lounge there! She’s also welcome on the couches, and the same goes for any other four legged visitors. We also have a spacious, fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime or lounging in the sun. If it’s more convenient for me to come to your home, I’m happy to make that work as long as you’re okay with me bringing my baby along if needed and your pets are gentle and comfortable around little ones.
“Jennifer took amazing care of my dogs while I was away. She kept me updated on how they were doing and sent pictures of them. Would have her watch them again and I definitely recommend her.”

About: Howdy yall! My name is Brett and I live in Smithville (78957), just east of Austin. My house has a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and is great for extended stays. I’ve raised many breeds of dog, including helping the birthing process! Must be friendly with other dogs, as I have dogs who get along great with all manner of beasts. I work from home and literally have no social life in this small town. Point is, I am a home body that is always working on my home and sanctuary. Dogs here get constant attention, treats, and lots of yard time. I love taking long walks in the neighborhood with the dogs and it’s a great area for it! There are several areas for dogs to sleep and make themselves at home. Each room has a dog bed and the living room couch is owned by the dogs. I am currently kenneling one dog who has a leg injury, so I’m patient with pups and know how to administer medications.

“Linda kept my dog for three days and she did an excellent job with him. She even sent me a little video of Ollie speaking to me. It was adorable! I will definitely use Linda C. again!!”

“Pamella is the best pet sitter ever! We have a new adopted dog and she is normally scared of everything, but Pamella got her on a leash and out to pee. Took such good care of her!”

“Having Marsha care for our pets has been a god send. She is attentive, reliable, and patient. It was a great peace of mind knowing our babies were in good hands while we were away. Will definitely be contacting again the next time we are away.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats of every kind and at high quantities. I have a very thorough background in understanding cat behavior and adjusting my own to fit their needs. In general, I’ve found that my favorite thing about cats is their peaceful nature but I see something endearing in the wild ones as well. Overall, my confidence in taking care or any animal weather it’s fluffy, scaly or prickly is very high as I have been in the vet industry for nearly my entire adult life. Life has seemed to find a way to take me out of that industry and I am grateful to get the opportunity to potentially be able to work with your fur baby as I do miss it.

“Stacey was excellent in every aspect during her drop in visits with our three dogs and cats. She kept a very close eye on a skin irritation that had developed on one our dogs and she updated us with pics daily. She was truly concerned with the health of our pets. We could not recommend her more. She is fantastic.”

“Katherine was amazing with my kitties. This was our first time ever using someone with Rover or any other service vs someone we know personally. Super worth it and I felt at ease the entire time! She was very thorough and is so kind and funny and takes great pictures. You can tell when people have a way with animals. :) I'll be partnering with Katherine again for trips in the future!”

“Tamara did a great job feeding our three cats, including a high maintenance one. Sent pics and everything was clean and cats did great. Relieved to know we can depend on her in the future, thanks!”

“I booked Susan at the last minute for a drop in visit for my two labs while we had a long day out of town. This was our first time using her, and considering we’d never met and I have a husband who is nervous about having people in our house we don’t know, it was a relief that everything went perfectly! She followed instructions to the T, sent a couple of pictures and we felt very comfortable with her. We will use Susan again!”

“Kaleigh was absolutely amazing taking care of my cat Gossamer while I was out of town! She took thorough photos and left a detailed report card every day. She also brought in a package for me and kept me posted about any questions she had. She’s also super responsive! I’ll absolutely book her again — it’s so awesome and comforting to find a Rover like her :)”

“Michelle was an awesome caretaker while I was away! The kitties were stressed out and gave her some extra work but she helped me out and took care of the the cats no problem and kept me updated every step of the way. Felt completely confident while I was away. Would definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Ande was a great choice! She is very professional and responsive and provides great feedback and photos. Ande is also super nice and helps put nervous pet parents at ease. This was our kitties first time alone and I was completely comfortable that he was taken care of. Thanks Ande!”

“Christine is excellent! What I like about her is she communicates well and clearly follows every instruction you ask her. Paris our cat was well taken care of. She was on time and updated if she's on her way and once she finished the drop-in. Definitely a trusted sitter! I will highly recommend her. Thank you so much Christine! :)”

I’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they get the love, attention, and dependable care they deserve while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day for your pooch. About: Hi there! I’m a Minnesota born, Bastrop-based dog lover and I’m glad you’ve found my profile. I've been around dogs my entire life and believe a dog makes a house a home. My own fur baby, Milou, is a 5 year old lab mix who loves other dogs and people. He will gladly accept a pal to join us on walks, or chase around the backyard. I have 5+ years experience volunteering with various animal shelters and a plethora of nights & weekends spent house/dog sitting for friends and family. I love to explore new trails, parks, & hikes so your pup's stay will be an active one! I am also a runner and will gladly take your dog along to burn off some extra energy. I took a couple years off from Rover as my family relocated several times. Now that we are settled in the Austin area, I am ready to get back to dog sitting/walking/boarding, and hope to meet you soon! I work from home so I am around to provide company, potty breaks, and perhaps even a lunchtime trip to the dog park! Canine coworkers are my favorite. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to roam safely. My dog loves hanging out back there and would enjoy a teammate to help him put the neighborhood squirrels in their place ;)
“Amanda is an amazing dog sitter that I highly, highly recommend. She is not only responsive, prompt and flexible, but she is also kind and loving. Truly authentic and has a heart of gold. My husky/german sheppard mix Ghost has not only been taken care of while at her house, but he has been truly loved and cared for. I can’t recommend Amanda enough for any pet service you may be looking for.”

“Norman was very accommodating to take care of my Petey Poo at the last minute! Petey has a lil separation anxiety and Stephen totally understood and helped sooth him.”

About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

Additionally, I enjoy outdoor activities very much, so I am definitely in shape to walk your dogs and play with them. I hope I can be of service to you and your dog(s). My backyard is unfenced, except for the patio area and a room sized square for dogs to pee/poop in. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, but they can be on the bed if they stay on top of the blanket. About: I love dogs. My past pet experience are amazing dogs are the most pure-hearted animals I know. One comment I get a lot of that I attracted a lot of animals, cats too. I love cats as much as dogs, one think that will set me apart from other sitters is that I want the dog to trust me. I want the dogs I take care of to see me as someone that they are ok with and not someone that is just there to watch them. I want them to enjoy the time with me as much as I will enjoy my time with them. Cats as well I want your animals to trust me as much as you will trust me to take care of them. i’m currently in school with no job but i will work after and on weekends, i love animals and don’t mind spending most my time with them. i live with my mom and we have a big yard(1.8 acres) so they live running out side and i have a big room with lots of space and a big bed so animals can lay on it.

While I do not offer boarding in my own home, I provide care in the client’s home through house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks so pets can remain in a familiar and comfortable environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any specific behavioral or comfort preferences. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine and personality to ensure they feel safe and secure while their owner is away. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and am comfortable administering medications when needed. I also provide consistent updates, including messages and photos, so pet parents can feel confident and reassured while they are away. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy presence for pets—minimizing stress by maintaining their normal routine and treating their space and care instructions with respect and attentiveness.
About: We’re Layla and Gracie, a sister team who work together to care for your pets like they’re our own. With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, we’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, small pets, chickens, goats, and even donkeys. We take the time to understand each animal’s personality and routine, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while you’re away. Pet sitting fits naturally into our daily routine, which allows us to offer flexible and consistent care. I am a full-time online veterinary technician student, and my sister Gracie is volunteering regularly at a local animal shelter with the goal of becoming a veterinary assistant. Because of our availability, you’ll be able to depend on us for walks, check-ins, and overnight care every day of the week. Your pets will always have priority in our schedules and routines! When caring for pets in our clients’ homes, we do our best to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. We follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions (medications, diets, etc.) to make sure your pet feels comfortable and stress-free when they’re without you. We spend quality time with each pet based on their needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. We’re happy to provide updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Kristina was great. She accepted my request with only three days advanced notice. When she came to meet my dogs they loved her and in talking to each other we found that we live a few blocks from each other and we have common interests. I received pictures and could see the the path that the walks were taken on. Couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely remember her for future bookings.”
About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. From dogs/cats to hampers and lizards, I’ve cared for them. Animals are my passion! It’s not just a job, it’s my life. I am currently home full time so I’m almost always available on weekdays and weekends. I’m very flexible and cooperative so I can work around different schedules. I have an active dog and 2 cats that I look after all day. I typically walk my dog once a day and he loves playing fetch so we do it off and on all day lol.

About: Currently a licensed veterinary technician. Can administer meds, which will help owners of older dogs feel more at ease, and notice signs of illness/distress easily. I own three friendly corgis. I love taking dogs on walks and playing with them out in the yard. Always available to house sit and keep pets at my house, It is very rare for me to say no. We have our lower yard fenced for dogs to run and play. I'm into cuddling with dogs on my couch, but if you don't allow your dogs on your furniture, I won't allow them on mine either. I am also comfortable and experienced in watching a variety of animals. I have watched horses, cows, sheep, goats, bunnies, reptiles, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, hamsters, and hedgehogs. I can host most caged exotics in my home and a different rate that can be discussed at booking. I do prefer payment via cash, check, or venmo. Have a great day! I work full time at a veterinary clinic but my home is very close to it. I come home on lunch everyday to let out my animals. I’m usually up quite early on days off so they’ll have maximum snuggle time I do my best to care for pets in their homes just like their people would, so they will be less stressed with their people gone
About: My entire life we have always had pets. I am a huge pet lover. Growing up I don’t think there was a time we ever didn’t have a dog. Now currently I own an almost 5 year old german shepherd and 2 cats. I would do anything for my pets and would love to be there for yours. I currently do work full time so feedings and walks would be the easiest for me schedule wise. But anytime I do have the free time I would love to pet sit for you! I am such a big animal person I would love to play with them go on walks/ runs, do some training, and make sure they get plenty of food and treats!
About: What sets me apart is that I’m a real dog owner first. I understand dogs because I live with them every day—not just during appointments. I’m patient, observant, and I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine. I’m comfortable caring for puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as senior dogs who need a slower pace, extra care, and patience. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, understood, and cared for. I do work overnight at Tesla however during the days I can walk (dogs) or sit (cats/dogs) from noon to 5pm. On the weekends I can board animals overnight. I have a fully fenced yard, plus two dogs and a cat who are all very pet-friendly. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to be extra respectful of both your pet and your space.
About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.
About: I am a nature lover! I enjoy taking my dog, Rosemary, on exciting hikes and engaging adventures. We love visiting the river, the dog park, many nature trails around town, and quality play time at home. I also love cuddling up with my cat, Bee. I have taken care of my own animals my entire life. From dogs & cats to birds to snakes, the list of animals I’ve had under my care goes on. Many of my pets have required medicine in their old age, so I am very comfortable administering medicine to an animal. I have dog-sat as well as house-sat on multiple occasions. One thing unique to me is my want for the animals to have as much freedom as possible. I work from home and decide my own schedule so I have a lot of flexibility in how I want to shape my day. This makes it so convenient for taking care of fur babies! We have a fenced yard that is perfect for a short zoomie sesh! Plus we have a gated dog park in our community that we frequent.
“Kaleigh is amazing! She is dependable, trustworthy, and my puppy absolutely loves her. I always have peace of mind knowing my puppy is in such great hands. Highly recommend! Thanks for all you do Kaleigh! 💖”

I will definitely use Linda C. again!!”
“Daniela is such a greater person with dogs! she took care of my Mia for a week after getting spayed. Even though Mia is not trained, Daniela had the patience and the ability to take care of her. She was there for Mia 24/7 since she needed extra care. I definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi my name Destiny and I'm 31 years old. Dogs are my life, I also used to work at a dog day care before I decided to begin one on my own. I've always loved animals since I was a little girl and knew I wanted to work with them. I decided that caring for other dogs as if their were my own is absolutely an amazing feeling to make a pup feel safe while you're away. Also I have taken on a variety of dogs and tend to their needs such as grooming, medication and love! Experience with 20+ dogs in 1room with me and I absolutly love my job! I'm very aware of avoiding and stopping dog fights and noticing small injuries from rough playing. I can make sure your baby is safe and well for your return. I work from home that has a high flexibility for me to step away when needed to be able to tend to your pets needs. I start my work at home at 5:30 am and able to step away when ever your fur babies need attention or care. Once I clock out at 2, I may go run errands to start dinner. But I’m a homebody and much rather be in with dogs than be out and about.
