There wasn’t a time we didn’t have someone to love in our home growing up and I always took on the responsibilities of caring for them. Professionally, I began working at a boarding facility and doggy daycare in 2021. I absolutely adored my job and only left to grow my family in 2023. I have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have experience in administering medication to both cats and dogs including insulin injections and seizure medication. About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born! Love animals and always have. If I could have any dog in the world it would be a Saint Bernard. They are just so big and huge, but for now I have a cute little mutt who is 13 and still energetic and healthy! I’ve had dogs jump on me, so I can handle big dogs. I’m currently working part-time at church and looking for full time ministry! In the meantime ~ I wanted to earn some extra money, to help with student loans and food. STORY TIME : * ****I met a pit bull ****At the age of 17 I went to one of my first parties with my friend ( I was still very shy and reserved, but was looking to dismantle my comfort zone ). I had a bad time and unfortunately I was followed walking on my route and hoped to just make it back home in the same pieces that I came with lol . Anyways I approached a dark neighborhood on my path and only two streetlights worked and sarcastically I was excited to be walking under one the moment I locked eyes with THEE most Beautiful & intimidating Pit Bull I’d ever been blessed with eyes to see and a body to run that couldn’t move and was actually not breathing to well either 😅So I did what any rational human would in this situation and called her and told her to come here “sweetie” and she Bolted towards me … arms out stretched shaking in my wee lil boots I prayed lol and she jumped up on my shoulder and licked my face and I was at awe 🥹. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . About: Growing up in the country, I cared for pets and farm animals. My experience and love for all creatures began there! Interacting with them has always been the highlight of my day. From cats, dogs, small animals, aquatic life and reptiles, to horses, dairy goats, birds, pigs and chickens, I have you covered! I've owned most, and cared for the rest. No matter what, I keep critters close! As a child was rarely seen without an animal or flock in tow. I raised pigs, chickens, dove, rabbits. As well as trained dogs and horses. Later on In Edna, I was a ranch hand on a small dairy farm. Now living in the city, I care mostly for cats and dogs, but I still love them all! I wouldn't imagine my life any other way!
