About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since sophomore year of high school and I feel pretty comfortable with any dog of any size! I would take very good care of each dog I encounter to ensure they are safe. I’m currently a college student at Texas A&M, so I am more flexible friday through sunday for dog sitting. About: I was 12 when I got my first dog, a cocker spaniel named Megara. My parents quickly put me in charge of her, and caring for her taught me to put another's needs before my own. She gave me lifelong lessons about the love and loyalty between a pet and their owner. Today I have an Old English Sheepdog named Delphi. Other owners at the dog park often comment on how sweet she is, and she has grown into a great older sister to our family dog, Luna (who lives with my family). My time on campus is limited to a few classes, my TA hours, and a student association meeting every other week, so I am home and available far more than someone on a standard nine to five. This doesn't have to be long but it is a nice first impression to the dog. In my home, your dog will not be alone. Delphi is here as company, and I introduce new dogs to her slowly and on neutral ground so the first meeting goes well for both of them (like a local dog park). I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.

My boy, Cowboy, is about 8 years old. I've owned him for over two years. He is a good boy! I have extensive experience with taking care of all types of pet medical needs. Just ask me if you need to know anything specific. I also have two cats, Bill and Baby Jane, 6 year old litter mates. They have been raised with dogs. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

I live in walking distance of campus, so can drop in on boarded friends in between classes. My school schedule is broken into nice chunks, allowing me a few hours in between each class to do drop-ins or hang out with my pet-sitting clients. We live in a home with a spacious back yard that is fully fenced. I have one medium sized dog, who can either play with your pup, or be kept separated, depending on your dog's preferences. In your home, I will ensure your pet is given the same level of love and care I give to my own, but from the comfort of their environment. If you are ok with going on walks in your neighborhood then you can bet we'll be pounding the street while your pet is in my care! I'll stick to parks/neighborhoods your pet is familiar with, unless you would prefer the get exposure to new areas.
