About: I was 12 when I got my first dog, a cocker spaniel named Megara. My parents quickly put me in charge of her, and caring for her taught me to put another's needs before my own. She gave me lifelong lessons about the love and loyalty between a pet and their owner. Today I have an Old English Sheepdog named Delphi. Other owners at the dog park often comment on how sweet she is, and she has grown into a great older sister to our family dog, Luna (who lives with my family). I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.

About: I grew up on a small farm, so got to see the full cycle or life across many species. As a teen, I was the go-to pet sitter amongst my mom's co-workers. I've cared for the usual, like dogs and cats, as well as amphibians, crustaceans, birds and livestock! Professionally, I worked as a dog groomer, and enjoyed that job like no other! I have experience in caring for senior pets on strict medication regimens as well as wound-care. It would be my pleasure to get to know you and your fur-babies, and to provide your pets with the same level of love, care and structure that I give to my own dog and cats at home. I live in walking distance of campus, so can drop in on boarded friends in between classes. We live in a home with a spacious back yard that is fully fenced. I have one medium sized dog, who can either play with your pup, or be kept separated, depending on your dog's preferences. In your home, I will ensure your pet is given the same level of love and care I give to my own, but from the comfort of their environment. If you are ok with going on walks in your neighborhood then you can bet we'll be pounding the street while your pet is in my care! I'll stick to parks/neighborhoods your pet is familiar with, unless you would prefer the get exposure to new areas.

I just moved to Darlington and my best friends mom told me her 1 cat won't come near me etc...1st day I was here her cat came up to me and let me pet her and she comes out of the room often to get petted. I have had a beagle, german shepherd and 2 lab/rotweiler mixed over the years. I am currently seeking employment so am available everyday/any time until I get a full time job. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little and have always had big dogs so im not afraid of them. I've pet sit for my friends and family many times and have had no issues at all even with their older dogs that need medicine at specific times or young puppies that are very acccident prone. Im a student but have found a lot of extra time on my hands that even my cat doesn't want to deal with. So im available for any job most weekdays. I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.
