“Megan did an excellent job of caring for my Sheltie. She sent texts with photos to give me regular updates. And she kept a watchful eye on him during some particular loud thunderstorms, which gives him terrible anxiety. Will rebook next time I am in B/CS!”

“I DREADED boarding our dogs, UNTIL we met Mikayla & Stephen and their amazing family. They are truly a Godsend and care for our dogs with so much love. Our dogs LOVE going over to Mikayla & Stephen’s, as they get to play with other dogs, cats and of course the sweetest kids!! Mikayla sends plenty of pictures/ videos and updates! We got lots of updates and pictures. Our baby was smiling in every picture. A lot of other sitters had a stipulation that our dog would need to be in a crate at night but he allowed Layla to sleep on her own bed and move about at will. We highly recommend him and will be hiring him again!!!”

Both my pets require medications and Gisella had no problem with administering them. Gisella and her husband are both very kind and pleasant people and I felt very comfortable communicating with both of them. I will be booking with them again!”

Right from our first meeting I knew Cody is a lover of fur babies and that my girls would be in great hands! About: Hey there! Taking care of animals is a passion of mine. The unconditional love they give us is just a great feeling. So a little about me, I went to Tarleton State for Animal Science. I want the animals to be comfortable with me and in the environment. Animals deserve extra love and attention, specially when you’re busy all day or going out of town. “Peyton did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of Bohdi! From the moment we connected, Peyton was professional, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Bohdi can be a bit particular at times, but Peyton handled everything with patience and care, making sure he felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication—it gave me complete peace of mind knowing Bohdi was in such good hands. It’s clear Peyton goes above and beyond, not just meeting expectations but truly caring for pets as if they were their own. When I returned, Bohdi was relaxed, well cared for, and clearly had a great experience. About: Hello my name is Cayla. I’m from Houston, Tx and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). I’m choosing to do Rover so I can build clientele and so I can expand my knowledge on dogs outside my pit bull and a few other breeds I’ve dealt with within my family and friends. Hopefully I’m someone you’ll love and trust around your home and your four-legged best friend. I do work from home and only work 4 days out the week so it's no hassle making sure everything and everyone is doing great. During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

“Brittany is kind, responsive, clear, thorough, thoughtful, communicative, and very appreciated in our household! She’s walked my dog 15+ times & we will absolutely be requesting her services again in the future. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! My only mission is to make your pet most comfortable, and I will do whatever I can to make it so. I understand that every pet is different, and am more than happy to accommodate for all. My goal is to limit their schedule changes to create as little stress as possible while you’re gone. Whatever walking or feeding schedule you provide will be the one that I adopt when caring for your babies!

About: I grew up on a small farm, so got to see the full cycle or life across many species. As a teen, I was the go-to pet sitter amongst my mom's co-workers. I've cared for the usual, like dogs and cats, as well as amphibians, crustaceans, birds and livestock! Professionally, I worked as a dog groomer, and enjoyed that job like no other! I have experience in caring for senior pets on strict medication regimens as well as wound-care. It would be my pleasure to get to know you and your fur-babies, and to provide your pets with the same level of love, care and structure that I give to my own dog and cats at home. I'm a student and mom, and am fortunate to have a good community around me who make taking care of pets possible. I live in walking distance of campus, so can drop in on boarded friends in between classes. My school schedule is broken into nice chunks, allowing me a few hours in between each class to do drop-ins or hang out with my pet-sitting clients. We live in a home with a spacious back yard that is fully fenced. I have one medium sized dog, who can either play with your pup, or be kept separated, depending on your dog's preferences. In your home, I will ensure your pet is given the same level of love and care I give to my own, but from the comfort of their environment. If you are ok with going on walks in your neighborhood then you can bet we'll be pounding the street while your pet is in my care! I'll stick to parks/neighborhoods your pet is familiar with, unless you would prefer the get exposure to new areas.

I know when we drop our dogs off, they are in great hands! Thank you Mikayla and Stephen for being a home away from home for our doggies!!! See y’all again soon!”

“Paul is AMAZING! We met him at a neutral park first. My PJ liked him. Then we met Blaze, who is a very friendly pup. Paul sent pictures and was very responsive while I was gone. I will DEFINITELY call on him again!”

“Thank you, Tamara, for taking such good care of our Schultz during our daughter's wedding weekend. He seemed so content and enjoyed your dogs as company. We look forward to using your services again!”

“We weren’t sure how to feel leaving our kitten with a stranger, but Arienne assured us he was in good hands. She took such good care of him and sent us updates each day. He seemed to have a lot of fun with her and her girls. We will definitely consider her again when we need to board Plinko!”

“Jessica and Evan did a wonderful job caring for our pup, Moses. He was happy and had a great time playing. They sent multiple photos and videos ensuring us that Moses was well taken care of during our time out of town.”
“This was the first time we had Robert dogsit for us. We hired him for a 3 night stay and I gotta say he was amazing! He took her for long walks and his 3 little doggies loved our baby! We got lots of updates and pictures. Our baby was smiling in every picture. A lot of other sitters had a stipulation that our dog would need to be in a crate at night but he allowed Layla to sleep on her own bed and move about at will. We highly recommend him and will be hiring him again!!!”

“I highly recommend Makayla Pet Sitters! My three dogs received the care and attention they needed, and she kept me posted on my babies. Mayla is very friendly, trustworthy and dependable. You will not be disappointed!”

“My dog has so much energy and he came home wore out. Jessica sent me video of him playing and having fun at the dog park right by her home. He also got a cute Halloween scarf and goodie bag. Will book again!”

“My dog and cat did wonderfully with Gisella! They stayed over the weekend and I received plenty of updates with photos. Both my pets require medications and Gisella had no problem with administering them. Gisella and her husband are both very kind and pleasant people and I felt very comfortable communicating with both of them. I will be booking with them again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded not just by animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable with all personalities, temperaments, and care needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work outside the home, but I work close by where coming home at lunchtime to check on or check on furry friend it’s not a problem. I have a fenced in yard and I am very careful to keep the doors closed. I am responsible and aware of things going on around me.
About: I am a trusted rover sitter and I have been caring for dogs all my life. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, giving oral and injectable medication and caring for high-needs pets, and I always treat every pet as if they’re my own! Myself and my home are always committed to keeping your dog happy and healthy. My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate most booking requests. I am able to give pets my full time and attention especially when staying with me at home. Pets that stay with me will receive ample amounts of love and attention as well as mental and physical stimulation to help ease the transition.
“Edward was great! Kept us up to date on what Chance was doing and how he was doing with eating and drinking. I got multiple pictures of Chance looking comfortable and cozy during his stay.”

“We had an awesome experience with London! Communication was great the whole time and she kept us in the loop. Our pup got along super well with Sancho (Pretty sure she still misses him haha). Everything went super smooth and we’d totally trust her again. Highly recommend!!!”

About: Animals have been my entire life and passion. I grew up caring for them and have extensive, hands-on experience handling all types of personalities, sizes, and needs. My background includes working on a ranch where I managed boarding operations and administered medical care for both large and small animals. I am deeply committed to animal welfare. I have also spent years volunteering with multiple city Trap-Neuter-Return/Release (TNR) programs, which taught me how to safely handle anxious or fearful animals with patience and respect. I love all animals and treat every guest like family. Your pet will be staying in a home that is truly optimized for their safety and well-being.I work from home full-time with a highly flexible schedule, which gives me 24/7 availability. I take frequent breaks throughout the day to play, walk, and monitor your pet, ensuring constant supervision. Thanks to my ranch and TNR background, I have expert handling skills and understand animal behavior well. I can comfortably handle high-energy or shy pets, and I am fully confident administering oral medications, injections, or following strict medical routines.Because I work from the comfort of my home, your pet will rarely be left alone. Our daily routine includes regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. Whether your pet needs a high-energy day of fetch or a quiet, comfortable space to snooze next to my desk, I easily adapt to their specific schedule and habits. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home full-time. My schedule allows me to stay with your pet almost 24/7, ensuring they are rarely left alone. Throughout the workday, I have a set routine where I take three 15-minute breaks and one full 1-hour break. I use this time to focus completely on your pet by taking them on walks, playing, or giving them potty breaks. Because my job keeps me at my desk, your pet can sleep or relax right in the same room with me all day, or they can rest in a separate room if they prefer quiet time. On weekends and evenings, my schedule is completely open for longer walks, grooming, and extra socialization. I tailor my care entirely to the unique needs of each animal, whether they are staying with me or if I am visiting your home. Thanks to my experience working on a ranch and volunteering with city trap-neuter-return programs, I am highly skilled in reading animal behavior and handling fearful, anxious, or high-energy pets. I maintain strict safety protocols, double-check that all gates and doors are secure, and follow your exact feeding and exercise instructions. If your pet has medical needs, I am fully qualified to administer oral medications and injections safely. I keep a clean, stress-free environment and adapt the daily setup based on your preferences and what fits the specific service you book.
“Joy gave my fur-baby all the care and snuggles he needed while we were away. I had complete trust in her abilities and she went above and beyond to keep my little guy engaged and happy.”
