My husband met Tisha when he took our Sadie and I met Tisha when I went to pick her up. Both of us were very pleased with the hospitality shown and the kindred love of animals that Tisha and her husband sincerely projected. We so enjoyed receiving photos of Sadie while we were away. At first I wasn’t sure about leaving little Skipper with all her big dogs, but she suggested an initial meet and greet and it was apparent that Skipper would become part of the “gang.” Lesley even got Skipper to eat regular dog food! About: I have been in love with animals since I was a baby. I grew up in a dog loving household. I have always had pets as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, turtles, mice, fish, hermit crabs. My goal is to one day have a goat and a pig as well. I worked in a pet store that wolf puppies for 3 years and my primary job there was to take care of the puppies and to teach the perspective new families to potty train their new babies and what to expect for their specific breeds. I have also helped my parents train all of their dogs and sit for them when on vacation. It’s a full house but I love it. I currently work but have time in the afternoons and weekends to walk or check on your fur babies and let them go outside and play or just stretch their legs out of the kennel, whatever the needs may be. My families dogs range from 3 lb yorkie to 90 lb golden doodle and a few in between. My baby is in his bedroom (kennel) when we are not home, one of my parents dogs does not require a kennel when we are not there so I do not require it as long as they are potty trained and do not chew.

I have 2 daughters, one is in school and one is not old enough yet but accommodations on my end can be met. We live in a mobile home and I have a huge pasture behind me to let them run or if you are not comfortable with me having them off the leash, if it’s too early for trust, I have a walking tail right across the road for my clients who need doggy day care. I have a 5 year old Australian shepherd. He’s is also very friendly and loves other dogs.
About: I have been pet sitting for many years. My clients are always super pleased with my care giving. I have two dogs in my home that are spoiled rotten. My love for animals began at a very young age. Caring for animals is my specialty. I am very flexible with dates and times. I will clean up after the pups and take care as if they were my own. “This was my first time leaving Duke with someone and I was really worried he would not do well. We had gone on a meet and greet 2 days before and Duke got along well with Melinda and her 2 dogs but I was still apprehensive. When it came time to drop him off he jumped right out of the car and ran up to Melinda and her husband without hesitation and went right in the house ! Melinda kept me informed with pictures of Duke having a great time and I have to say Duke misses his new friends. About: Welcome! My name is Kirsten and I am a resident of Portland Tx! I’m originally from Austin where I began my animal care journey. I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I’ve loved every minute of meeting all kinds of personalities from all pets and giving them the love and attention they need. I’m happy to do a meet and greet with your fur baby. Look forward to meeting you! Pet care is a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon. Because I already manage a structured schedule, I’m very organized with my time and make pet care a priority. My routine allows me to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I love to take pups on walks In the neighborhood, play with their favorite toys and give them lots of rubs! If there are activities you prefer I would more than happy to add them to our daily activities. :)
