About: I was raised in a pet family and learned many skills that I use in my day to day life like responsibility, integrity, loyalty, patience, and kindness. My Uncle gave us his cat when I was in middle school and at first, I was weary, but I fell in love with her. I loved cuddling and holding her, listening to her purr, and hanging out. She was so kind and sweet, which made me want more cats in my future! I have cat-sat for others and it's been fun to learn each one's unique personality! Some are calm and some are so goofy/energetic. About: I have many years of experience as a dog walker and sitter. I have two dogs: a chihuahua named Minnie, and a corgi mix named Stubbs. They’re both very friendly and well trained. I’m a huge dog lover- every time I see one in public I have to pet them. I grew up with dogs and I’ve never not had one. My dogs are part of the family, and they’re very spoiled. I have a house with a big .25 acre fenced in backyard with plenty of shade and a dog door which can be closed. “I left Zorro at their house for a day. It was a last minute request so I was a bit antsy. As soon as I arrived at Claudette's I was assured Zorro would be at home and well cared for. The back yard was huge. Two other little dogs were there for Zorro to interact with. It was clear he was going to be fine. They touched base throughout the day and when I asked for an update, they sent one -- a cute photo of Zorro on Patrick's lap! When I picked him up he was happy, not desperate to see me. A sure sign that he had had a low key, easy visit. My only issue I had was with Rover. I tried to get the video chat to work numerous times and the call would not go through. Perhaps leave more specific instructions as to how to make that work.”

About: Growing up in a rural area I have had experience with most animals, from dogs to exotics, and love them all. I have a Bachelors in Animal Science from TAMU and worked for the Vet School during my undergrad. Not only do I have many of my own pets, but I have been trusted to care for others’ furry family members for several years. Since Fluff requires a bit of extra care due to her age, I was especially grateful for Carly’s dedication it was never an obstacle for her. She even provided daily reports and end of day notes, which helped me stay informed and better understand Fluff’s routine. Carly was also incredibly accommodating throughout my trip.
