“I am so grateful for Rita. I have a reactive Pitt who was rescued from severe neglect at about 1 year old. I am very cautious about who I leave him with and I have to say I trust Rita implicitly with my dogs. Firstly they love her, she spends actual time with them and I know she can handle my Bossko no problem. Rita has an understanding of dogs and their behavior/needs that has been literally life saving for my dog. That probably sounds dramatic but we were having some big behavioral issues surrounding a move and I was starting to worry about safety but also refused to give up on my dog. Rita offered some insight as to what he might be needing from me and offered some ideas on a routine and safety measures I could implement to help him (things that are actually sustainable in my busy life as a single mom) and it has been a game changer! This statement coming from myself is not expressed lightly as I am the definition of a ‘crazy dog mom’. Naturally, I get high anxiety having to leave my pup behind during travel as I typically try and take her everywhere. Since moving to TX, it only took one stay with Kellie for me to realize that there is no one else I’d rather use exclusively to care for Storm while I am away.
