Smokey can be very nervous and anxious in new situations, and he initially refused to eat, but Alexus was patient, caring, and determined to help him feel comfortable. She showed him so much love and attention, and before long he was settling in and doing much better. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates, photos, and videos she sent. They gave me tremendous peace of mind and reassured me that Smokey was safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. It was clear from every update that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Honestly, Smokey had a better experience with Alexus than he has ever had at a traditional boarding facility. In fact, when we came home, his greeting was surprisingly underwhelming because he had been having such a great time! I highly recommend Alexus to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future. She has so much experience with animals and actually taught us about some things we could get for our pets that would alleviate some of the issues we were having. She is a loving and attentive caregiver who not only attended to everything we asked of her, but she went above and beyond with care for their eyes and was alert to things around our home that needed attention -like bringing in daily packages and turning on night lights/closing shades. We were so well informed every day as she sent so many photos. We have never seen our pets so content when we got home-it was if they didn't even realize we were gone because she spent so much time with them playing and brushing and FEEDING!!! About: I’ve had my own dogs for 30 years and take care of other family members furbabies when they are away. Recently adopted a 10 year old sweetie that needed a safe home. I also have experience with senior dogs and their needs. It is recommended your pets be on flea preventative. I work from home so your furbaby will have all the attention they would have when at home with their family. I’m able to take them outside frequently. My house is situated on 3.5 acres. There is a fenced area if your pet likes to spend a lot of time outside but otherwise will be kept in our home with plenty of walks around the property. They will have free run of our home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood as owner but also the strays that come along! I have also volunteered at the animal shelter and adoption agency and not afraid of the pet duties that come with dogs and cats. I work full time remote Monday to Thursday. Available any time Friday to Sunday for this weekend trips that come up. Walks or dog sitting while working is not an issue for me or my employer. I do have one dog and one cat, but can crate pet if needed and have their own space & to fulfill their needs. Yard is not fully fenced so walks will be main source of outside time.
