They have always trusted me and warmed up to me extremely easily. WISDOM/RESILIENCE Growing up...a neighborhood dog almost ended my life and guess what....I learned a lot on what NOT to do and kept the bond strong. What happened to me didn't phase me. CONCLUSION I've always preferred the company of animals over people for many reasons. But don't judge me .... HIRE me. The friendship, respect, consideration and connection I can't help is of the absolute highest caliber. Period. I work from home and am extremely active. I'm an outdoorsy rebel who loves to explore the areas off the path. Hiking is how I stay going and sane. Dogs usually go with me. I care for them by being present and constantly engaged. I notice when they are laying on the floor and don't have something soft. About: I started volunteering with Fort Worth Animal Care and Control summer of 2025, and its been great being able to help animals in need, but has also provided me with a wide range of experience with dogs of different temperaments and personalities. (all incredibly lovable!) I pride myself on giving all of my pet care 110% of my focus and attention, so that your pets will always have the highest degree of care and protection. They deserve nothing less. I've had my own dog for about 4 years now, having found her on the side of the interstate after being hit by a car. She's long since recovered and is an amazing and very lovable heeler who basically lives at my hip when I'm home! The initial injuries gave me experience in caring for a dog on strict crate rest (fractured/broken pelvis and vertebrae) and administering oral medication. She is very strong and has a very high prey drive along with her genetic desire for heeling, so rest assured I am capable of handling any large dog you might have! I am always actively learning too, especially in regards to animal behavior and psychology! I am currently studying reactivity more in depth through online courses (Grisha Stewart) as well as general behaviorism through book reading. I know I wouldn't trust my Nyx with just anyone, especially being a high energy reactive dog. It is my goal to be that trusted caretaker for your pets. I'm working on making this my career as I continue to gain more experience and knowledge, and so I am able to provide near 24/7 care to your pets when house sitting right now. *Currently only able to do in-person meet and greets in Alliance due to lack of car, generally in the area between 35 and 377 and up to 170, all the other meet and greets must be virtual.* Safety is the most important aspect to me, both your pets and mine. I always do my utmost to maintain hyper-vigilance during care of your pets, paying particular attention to potential problem points during walks, such as when walking past parked cars where somebody or something could suddenly come out and spook your pets. Maintaining a very high level of protection and awareness for your pets is a huge point of pride (not to mention importance) for me!

About: We are a family of dog owners and dog lovers. My husband and I have been married for going on 20 years and we have three sons ranging from 15-18! We have three small dogs of our own, a Pug named Archie, a Maltese named Zoey and a Yorkie mix named Louie. We are pet lovers and also have a tortoise, a rabbit and some fish. We also can bunny sit and care for other small pets. We do live in a home and have a large backyard that backs up to Greenbelt and a park. I wish we could adopt all the pets that need homes. Our family would love to care for your furry family member or other small pet as needed. We work full time but can come home at lunch to take the fur babies out to play. We do ask that times for drop off and pick up be a specific as possible due to our three sons busy sports and band schedules. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little kid: starting at about 10 years old I pet set for my neighbors. I have watched, fed, and walked dogs of varying sizes and ages and have also fed and managed some cats. In my college town I have helped the Humane Society on occasion by taking a dog at a time to walk them and let them roam around and enjoy time outside the kennel. I am an animal lover and know how important it is for them to be cared for and loved!
