Additionally, I am only able to care for pets up to 40 lbs at the moment due to my own dogs' sizes. When staying with me, we will follow a consistent daily routine so that your pet feels comfortable and secure. This level of care and commitment to ensuring their happiness also extends to walks and home visits. I will be in constant communication with you and provide you frequent updates about all the fun things we are up to!

About: Hi I'm Abigail and I love dogs very much I have once taken care of a friends house and pet sitted for them. They had a pet cocotoo, eight dogs and two cats. About: I started volunteering with Fort Worth Animal Care and Control summer of 2025, and its been great being able to help animals in need, but has also provided me with a wide range of experience with dogs of different temperaments and personalities. They deserve nothing less. I've had my own dog for about 4 years now, having found her on the side of the interstate after being hit by a car. She's long since recovered and is an amazing and very lovable heeler who basically lives at my hip when I'm home! The initial injuries gave me experience in caring for a dog on strict crate rest (fractured/broken pelvis and vertebrae) and administering oral medication. She is very strong and has a very high prey drive along with her genetic desire for heeling, so rest assured I am capable of handling any large dog you might have! I am always actively learning too, especially in regards to animal behavior and psychology! I am currently studying reactivity more in depth through online courses (Grisha Stewart) as well as general behaviorism through book reading. I know I wouldn't trust my Nyx with just anyone, especially being a high energy reactive dog. It is my goal to be that trusted caretaker for your pets. I'm working on making this my career as I continue to gain more experience and knowledge, and so I am able to provide near 24/7 care to your pets when house sitting right now. *Currently only able to do in-person meet and greets in Alliance due to lack of car, generally in the area between 35 and 377 and up to 170, all the other meet and greets must be virtual.* Safety is the most important aspect to me, both your pets and mine. I always do my utmost to maintain hyper-vigilance during care of your pets, paying particular attention to potential problem points during walks, such as when walking past parked cars where somebody or something could suddenly come out and spook your pets. Maintaining a very high level of protection and awareness for your pets is a huge point of pride (not to mention importance) for me!
About: I love to take care of dogs and shower them with love and attention. I enjoy walking them, playing with them, cuddling and petting them. About: My family has always been a rescue dog family! Every dog I have ever owned has been a foster fail or a shelter rescue. Some of our pups have had traumatic pasts, and I love watching the light come back to their eyes as they realize why a loving home feels like! I think dogs truly are our bestfriends and they deserve to be treated like it. I am currently in the last phases of flight training, so I spend weekdays studying or flying but have plenty of time to walk dogs around it!
