About: When I was 12 I moved into a neighborhood others used as a dumping ground, and I’ve seen cats as animals that need my help and protection ever since. I spent a year convincing my parents to take in two of the cats from the colony I’d been sneaking food to, another year caring for and feeding all my cats (indoor and outdoor), and even a week sitting outside an abandoned home trying to catch a fresh litter of kittens so I could take them to the vet and find them homes. One of the kittens I ended up being able to keep, and he became my best friend of all time. I fed him, litter trained, and played with him in a way that taught him right from wrong, and then did it twice more throughout the years with his brother and with his sister I got after he passed. I know cats come in all different shapes, sizes, and personalities, but I promise I’ll love them all the same!

About: Dogs have been the light and joy of my life since I was born, but when I was 10 I finally got a dog to call my own! After our family dog had puppies and refused to nurse, I spent countless days and nights bottle feeding her litter until I proved to my parents I could keep one for myself. After that, I potty trained, socialized, played with, and took that puppy on walks all by myself. I’ve spent a lot of time with all breeds of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with dementia, and I love them and care for them all like they’re my own. I’m currently a paraprofessional for the SPED department of an elementary school, but I’m hoping to spend the summer caring for your fur-babies! School starts back up August 4, so until then I’ll be completely free to tend to any and all of your baby’s needs day and night.
