About: As an employee at an animal shelter, I was trained to identify illnesses in animals; proper pet care and animal handling; and how to identify different behaviors. I have been a foster parent with a local Humane Society for 3 years as well. I have experience with all kinds of animals and believe all animals should be treated with kindness and care. I currently work 4 days at an animal shelter. I have Thursday-Saturday off. I would be available all day those three days, or available after 6pm Sunday-Wednesday if needed. I have 3 cats in my home - all adopted from the Humane Society. They have their own room in my home where the door is open all day for them to come and go as needed. I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs.
