My aunt owns an animal shelter where I used to live in Connecticut and I spent a lot of time there exposed to various breeds. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog or other dogs living their best life. I can accommodate small dogs that just want some love but also active dogs since I walk about 6-8 miles a day already and would love company. There is a dog park on my street as well if they’d prefer an open area to run. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I find myself just wandering around, walking around the parks, and can accommodate your schedule! I have one small 7 year old beagle mix that your dog could spend time with. Our days would consist of many walks (some on their own and if they don’t mind / prefer company, some with my dog) snuggling, and playing at the dog park which is normally empty. I also enjoy hiking and exploring on the weekends if your dog is into that sort of thing.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine life without them! I’ve had my own dog for 5 years now and there aren’t many days we don’t go on our daily walk. While living abroad, I also helped walk and dog sit for my neighbor whenever she was away. I treat every pup like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love, care, and attention. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, which means I can easily fit in walks, drop-ins, or overnight care throughout the week. I love spending time outdoors and with dogs, so I make pet care a regular part of my day. As my schedule changes down the road, I’ll be sure to keep my availability up to date so you always know when I’m open for bookings. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I always follow their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure to respect your space and keep things just the way you like them. Whether it’s feeding, walks, or playtime, I stick to your pet’s normal schedule and give them plenty of attention and care while you’re away.
About: I have had 3 litters of puppy in my house and have helped train and bath them all. I volunteered at a pet groomer giving baths a few time. I have 5 dogs that live with me but I am moving off to college and won't have any pets so I thought this is a great way to still be around the animals I love. I am going to college however I have free time every day and wanted something to do so i can be close to animals every day. I am mostly going to be walking animals but I will also consider house sitting and going to watch animals at other peoples houses depending on the time.
