YinYang was my first cat, and he arrived in 2015 during one of the most demanding seasons of my life — the years I was completing my doctoral degree in Ciudad Juárez. Mae came to us as a fragile 3-week-old kitten from the community of cats who live in our backyard — a community my husband Jason and I gladly feed and offer refuge to, because every animal deserves safety and kindness, especially those the world has overlooked. Mae never left. She grew from a tiny baby who needed round-the-clock care into a magnificent, thriving 3-year-old Maine Coon mix who is fully and completely one of our furry family members — cherished, healthy and deeply loved every single day. I sit in the floor and love on them and make sure to keep a strict potty schedule. With the cats,I make sure to clean the litter box multiple times a day hoping I will catch it immediately.

About: Been a dog owner since I was born. Years of experience with the humane society and several other local organizations. I have adopted everything from cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents, fish. I've had toy breeds, working breeds, and large dogs that think they are lap dogs. Experienced with bottle feeding for pups, and medication administration for other needs. I currently work a flexible schedule from home which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I'm no stranger to taking them along to run errands either. I currently live in a condo, however I not only have a fenced in patio, with enough room to play fetch. My condos also have a dog area, and have a trail attached to them. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule.
