“This is a 5-Wag doggie hotel! Seriously, the accommodations are clean and homey, with individual decks in the runs and a resort pool to splash in. Daily walks within the fenced acreage make it a great place for dogs who like the great outdoors. The kennel clubhouse is air conditioned and very comfy. Beds are provided but Julie was flexible and welcomed the favored blankies and toys we brought. My very skittish dog Missy actually allowed some petting during the stay, a real testament to Julie’s sincere affection for the dogs in her care. I can heartily recommend her services and will use her again!”

About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.

About: I'm a lover of all animals, willing to accommodate special hours or instructions, if medications are needed I'm comfortable doing that as well. Have been pet sitting for 10+ years and have yet to meet a dog/pet I don't adore? I'm willing to work with anyone's pet and meet them beforehand to make sure they feel comfortable with me. A pet should always come first so I would want to make sure I can accommodate their needs. I'm a firm believer in in also having a healthy relationship with pet parents and most certainly encourage any questions to make sure your pet and I both be comfortable each other before accepting any job. I set my school hours accordingly, therefore it doesn't interfere with the care of your pet. Patience goes a long way when it comes to establishing a connection with a pet. Most pets I have come across form relationships easily, however there are cases where pets may come with a past. Such as being rescues whose previous owners didn't treat them well . About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats throughout my life from watching my friends pets, working as a veterinary assistant, and even taking care of horses! I’m currently living at home after doing an internship, so I’m doing pet sitting while I’m job hunting! Daily walks within the fenced acreage make it a great place for dogs who like the great outdoors. The kennel clubhouse is air conditioned and very comfy. Beds are provided but Julie was flexible and welcomed the favored blankies and toys we brought. My very skittish dog Missy actually allowed some petting during the stay, a real testament to Julie’s sincere affection for the dogs in her care. I can heartily recommend her services and will use her again!”
