About: I have extensive experience with pets from doggy daycares to grooming shops to vet clinics. I have been pet sitting and grooming for the last 10 years. My home is basically for my furr babies. They're allowed on the furniture even though they have 5 of their own beds and 4 little hidey houses. They literally have over 100 toys, all kinds, that they are willing to share with any pup they welcome in here. The house is theirs, I just live here and clean up after them. I work from home and I have classes that are mostly online so, I am home basically all day. I'll be able to watch the dogs all day and I let them go outside about every hour or so to go potty. I have a fenced in yard with a few chickens in the yard. I have an above ground pool with a floating doggy dock to make it easy for them to get out of the pool if they ever jump in but its usually closed off unless it is being actively used. I have 2 friendly shih tzu sisters that are spoiled rotten and 2 little kittens that love playing with the dogs. Dogs can go on all furniture and there are plenty of toys to play with. There are a bunch of dog beds and comfy spots for them to chill inside.

Recently, our third dog passed away at 16 due to some age-related health complications, so I have experience with senior dogs as well. I also have both a female and a male cat that are about 12 and 5 years old, respectively. I have experience pet-sitting for both family and neighbors. I’ve pet-sat small dogs, such as a French bulldog and a Boston terrier, as well as larger breeds, such as an American yellow Labrador and a Great Dane. All the friends and family members I have pet sat for have cats as well. I’m currently between jobs as I’m transitioning to studying for a graduate school entrance exam. My schedule is open and will revolve around your fur babies. I’m a morning person, but I will gladly take evening walks. About: I have been a dog lover since my first dog followed me home at the age of 6 (and he was a full size Doberman of all things). I currently have a German Shepherd, Pit bull Mix, Husky Mix, Chihuahua Mix and an Orange Tabby so I'm used to animals of all sizes and temperaments. My poor Pit Mix has allergies, my GSD has hip dysplasia and my Chihuahua has a heart condition, so I'm well versed in special needs! I have a two acre property that we constantly explore and we love to go swimming at the nearby lake! I do my best to be as unintrusive as possible when in you're home! Letting me know their favorite toys and activities do make things easier for us to bond! I have a fully fenced in half acre with another acre and a half we can explore while leashed! There are cows, chickens and other animals on the farm next door so there's plenty of sights (and smells)!

“Mariah and her family are great!! I was going out of the country for a week and was able to contact her at the last moment to watch my 2 babies. My dogs loved their stay! My dogs are super sweet and friendly but can get a little anxious when meeting people or other dogs for the first time, but they immediately felt comfortable and safe in Mariah's home. She has 2 kids and a dog of her own that kept my pups playing every day. My dogs are super picky eaters too, but Mariah tried every tip I offered to get them to eat and eventually got them to eat using her own methods and food. Mariah's whole family loves dogs, and the love, care and patience she showed my 2 dogs allowed me to have a stress free vacation. I even enjoyed getting the daily pic updates while out of the country. I highly recommend Mariah to anyone who wants their dogs to recieve love and the best care when you have to go out of town for any period of time.
