About: Hello, I have been taking care of 5 dogs, many cats, a tortoise, leopard gecko, and hermit crabs since I can remember and now my sons ages 10 & 9 years who are homeschooled want to help take care of other pets. We love the aquarium and the Victoria Zoo and learning how to help others around us. I work remotely from home while homeschooling my boys and we have a very flexible schedule. The only day and times we are unavailable are: Sunday from 9 am-2 pm for church. We have 2 acres with a fence along the front yard and 3 mix breed dogs outside and 2 pug puppies inside who are crate trained.

I am generally gone for less then an hour or two but occasionally time away can be up to 4 hrs. I prefer pets that are crate trained for they find crates safe and comfy opposed to punishment. I work 10 hour shifts 4 times a week. Always off on Sundays. Rotate shifts on Saturdays. As long as you’re comfortable with my hours then I’ll make the pet sitting experience fun and enjoyable. About: Welcome! My name is Kirsten and I am a resident of Portland Tx! I’m originally from Austin where I began my animal care journey. I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I’ve loved every minute of meeting all kinds of personalities from all pets and giving them the love and attention they need. I’m happy to do a meet and greet with your fur baby. Look forward to meeting you! Pet care is a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon. Because I already manage a structured schedule, I’m very organized with my time and make pet care a priority. My routine allows me to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I love to take pups on walks In the neighborhood, play with their favorite toys and give them lots of rubs!
