They were willing to meet me the day before my trip since I was taking an early flight the next morning, which wouldn’t allow us to have time for a proper introduction. This really helped solidify that I was leaving my dog in good hands. They own two cute little fur babies and had a lovely pet friendly home, with a doggie door. I sent a kennel just to be safe, even though my dog is fully house trained and she said that they never used it, which is a major plus in my book. About: I grew up with my parents having German Shepards, so I was raised around dogs and I love animals in general. With that experience came responsibilities like feeding, walking, and playing with each animal. Teaching allows me to have at most 2 weeks off due to the breaks, so I enjoy filling that time with a side hustle that will help me reach my next goal. About: I've had a number of animals since the age of 4. From birds, and fish to Cats, dogs, and rabbits! I have always had a cat or dog in my home and I LOVE ANIMALS!!! I have house sat & boarded pets for 8 years now for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat them like my own and ensure that they're fed, get walked, lots of rubs, and everything I can to keep their usual routine! I'm currently not working and want to do something I love to stay busy. I have an open schedule to handle all your pets needs. I stay in a very spacious 3 bedroom home with yard space where they have plenty of room to roam. There are also parks near to release their energy. I currently have an open schedule. I always update my schedule to reflect any changes. I am very flexible at the moment. Once I have a pet job in place I try to focus on the pet/pets. It honestly depends on the animal. Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 with our own family dog that was a Yorkie. My husband and I have a labradoodle named Peach that 3 years old now. We take her on morning, afternoon, and evening walks and she is potty trained. Since I work from home, I have more time now to enjoy taking care of our Peach. I work from home full time so I have plenty of time to focus on your dogs needs! I am also available for boarding your dogs on the weekdays/weekends. We have a huge backyard that’s gated and our Peach is great with other dogs. We allow dogs on the couches and beds. We take her outside every 3-4 hours so we would do the same for your pets!

So I learned at an early age the responsibility of caring for the family pet. My first adult pet was a mini lob rabbit which I had for 10 years. It had some medical issues in which required regular care from the local vet. A few years ago I was introduced to Great Danes and immediately fell in love! Zoe, my twelve year old Dane lived her best life. She went to parks, family gatherings, car rides, camping. She passed away last year at the age of 12 1/2. I am not ready for another pet just yet and now that I have some free time I would love to give others the sense of security by playing, loving and caring for their pet. I'm recently retired and have a flexible schedule. With that flexibility I have the opportunity to check on your pets or provide over night care with short notices. I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your pet to lay in the sun, run, stretch and play! For over night stays a crate might be beneficial depending on your pets behavior and comfort. For day to day visits I will respect your property and pet and follow your guidelines to ensure our pet friendly visit is successful.

We do have two resident dogs in the home, but they are both friendly and well socialized — they've welcomed visiting dogs before without any issues, making the transition smooth and stress free for everyone. I always make sure to do a slow, supervised introduction between dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable before giving them free time together. Every pet's boundaries are respected and their safety comes first.

I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for a variety of farm animals, which taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of paying attention to an animal’s individual needs. Pet care is a part of my everyday life because I’m a pet owner myself. I currently have a French Bulldog, so I’m very familiar with the unique needs of brachycephalic breeds and understand the importance of monitoring their activity, breathing, and comfort. I’m currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Biomedical and Translational Sciences, and my summer schedule is relatively light, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks and drop-in visits. I have always loved animals and volunteered at my local animal shelter throughout my undergraduate studies, where I gained experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and needs. Providing pets compassionate care is something I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets during drop-in visits and walks, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. During drop-ins, I can provide food and water, potty breaks, playtime, administer basic medications if needed, and give plenty of attention and companionship. For walks, I prioritize making sure they stay hydrated and comfortable, especially during the summer heat. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to treat every pet as if they were my own.

“Perfect! If you're looking to have great care for your pet look no further. Our dog had a wonderful stay with them. They have 2 dogs of their own that he played with and kept him company. He also loved the attention from Aldrin and Teresa. They are a sweet friendly couple. Someone was always home to watch them and they took him on plenty of walks. That really helps when our dog is in a new place with new faces. We also appreciate their organization and communication skills.
