About: From growing up with my childhood dog, and multiple dogs at my grandmothers house, I’ve had experience with dogs since a very young age. I currently have three sweethearts. An American cocker spaniel, a rescue pup, and a rescue kitten. I have watched countless friends dogs and cats as well, and will never say no. I’m absolutely in love with any and all kinds of animals. Your babies will be treated just like mine! Just like family🩷! I currently am self employed and pick my own schedule. I usually work early am around 3 am to around 8 am. “I cannot recommend Katy enough! She went above and beyond while caring for my cat, Frida, who is still adjusting after our recent move. Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. I’d be thrilled to book her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. If you want someone who treats your pet like their own and gives you total peace of mind, she’s the one!”

About: Hi there! Thank you for checking out my profile! I have been professionally working in the animal care industry since 2018. From small family owned businesses to corporate owned facilities. I have worked alongside experienced trainers and with amazing groomers, but most of my career I spent working as a kennel manager at a boarding/daycare/vet facility. I now work more with shelters and rescues in the area. This being said I have worked with MANY different temperaments over the years and pride myself in being well versed in dog body language and behavior. I also am experienced with other species such as birds and reptiles. I'm passionate about animal care and have always worked to grow my skills in this field! “We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”
