With younger puppies, I can maintain any training protocols you’re working on (leash walking, potty training, chewing). For seniors, I can accommodate whatever you need from me while in my care. For all others, we have lots of options to have fun, keep them busy, or just chill out. I’m home all day so there’s plenty of time for playing, cuddles, walks and attention. Lots of toys, furniture and dog beds for your babies to play with or get comfy. I have a lot of experience with dogs that may have difficulties on walks (pulling, chasing, reactive). I always make sure the pets are comfortable and have their needs met. My apartment is on the 1st floor and the back door leads to the doggy courtyard so potty breaks don’t have to be scorching for them in these Texas summer months.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little kid and recently had to say goodbye to my last dog. I adore dogs but as empty nesters who travel, I’m not in a place to get another one full time now. About: I have been a passionate pet owner for the last 20 years, as well as a veterinary assistant, foster/rescue advocate, and trainer. I am a licensed human nurse currently working as a stay at home mom, but absolutely love working with animals of all kinds, and wish to continue to help pets and their families in any way that I can. Because of my unique experiences, our home is a wonderful place for me to continue to be involved in pet care and training, and for pet parents to seek skilled quality care. I have been trained in various animal medical skills such as pill administration, injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, topical skin medication/eye medication administration and basic first aid, so caring for animals with ongoing medical needs, mobility restrictions, or medical conditions related to advanced age are not outside of my skill level. My husband Jonathan and I have 3 sweet, well supervised, and well behaved children, and can provide a wonderful boarding or daycare environment for pets that have anxiety with child exposure. There is always someone home when there is a guest pet present, and they are given access to the same amenities that we enjoy- comfy furniture, plenty of safe places to play with close supervision, toys for enrichment, and a clean place to do their "business". Our own dogs have been very well socialized and enjoy the opportunity to interact and play with new friends of all sizes and species. They are excellent with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and exotic pets. I know that routine is very important for some pets, and that disruption of typical routine can cause anxiety. Because they're is always someone home, we can follow care instructions closely to try to emulate the routine that your pet is familiar with. Our home is just shy of 2,000 square feet on 3 acres and has a large fenced back yard for potty and play. Pets will NOT be left outside unsupervised at any time. We do have a covered patio in the back yard as well for shade, and will provide cool, fresh, clean water outdoors during supervised playtime if outdoor play is desired. Indoors, guest pets will have access to our kitchen, dining, and living space. All flooring is hard for easy mess cleanup, and for easy puppy potty training. Off limits sections of the house (ie: storage room, bedrooms when unoccupied) will remain closed or gated. Pets will sleep in our room with us when directly supervised. Our indoor environment is air conditioned and remainds approximately 70-74 degrees year round. Our home is in a wonderful edge of town peice of property that is easy to access from the main highway and far enough from neighbors to be very peaceful. There is a subdivision with nice sidewalks with light traffic residential streets for plenty of leashed walking less than half a mile down the road. There is also a large park nearby. Plenty of exercise can be provided for pets that need it, and I love being outdoors myself. I am currently a stay at home dog and kid mom so I have plenty scheduling flexibility to accommodate things such as medications and potty training I have a fenced yard for free running and play and all of my dogs are crate trained for their safety in case it is needed either with client dogs or for another reason

“We boarded our 4-year-old dog, Mishti with Jennifer for the first time few weeks ago. She is wonderful, she took time for a meet & greet and clarified our doubts/questions. She sent regular photo updates and responded to our queries about Mishti's medication. Mishti was really well taken care of. Jennifer accommodated our request of a slightly late pickup, and we couldn't be more thankful for that! Mishti seemed happy in Jennifer's care and had become friends with another dog! Jennifer's place is very dog friendly with lots of beds around for the dogs and very clean! Jennifer, thank you so much for taking care of Mishti!”

“My little guy is a 14 week old puppy. Lindsey and her beautiful family spoiled this little guy. I received several pictures of a pup having the time of his life. She made sure to make him as comfortable as possible. She made sure to keep the puppy on schedule. I was mostly impressed that her sweet children wanted to help and be the assistant pup sitters. When I picked up my baby, her children were so excited to give me a report on my puppy. The pup was so sad to see his friends go back inside. I’m so happy to have found such a wonderful family. I would highly highly recommend them! Please take your furbabies to Lindsey. The moment you meet them, you will not have to worry… not even for a second!”
