“Karimar did an excellent job at watching our fur babies for us. We were able to go on a family vacation without any worries on how the doggies were doing. She kept in touch with us every day with updates and sent pictures of them as well. I would highly recommend her and absolutely would book with her again as needed. I was so impressed with her prompt replies, professionalism, and caring interactions with our doggies.”

“Our dogs recently stayed with David and his family. We highly recommend them. We have 3 large dogs and one which has seizures and Addison’s disease. During their stay we received updates and photos that we really appreciated. We were comforted by the fact that His wife is a vet tech and in the event that our dog had a seizure she would know how to intervene if needed. We would not hesitate to board them with David and his family again.”

“I’m so happy to have a place I can trust to leave Lucy whenever we’re out of town. Dominique sends so many videos and photos, which I really appreciate. Lucy absolutely loves going to her house!”

“Debbie did a fantastic job with my buddy . I'd never thought I'd leave my dog with someone and have to admit I was really worried bur as soon as I met Deb I could tell she's a dog lover. She also kept me well informed with his stay and that kept my mind at ease .look forward to using her services again”

“Gina and her family were incredibly welcoming and they love taking care of dogs. They’ve taken care of my dog Sasha twice and all on short notice. I never worried about Sasha on either occasion and knew she was having a blast hanging out with Gina’s other family pets. Sasha stayed for multiple nights and I always got updates to let me know she was settling in fine. Gina is also very easy to schedule and very flexible. Gina is my top choice for Rover in the area. Thank you Gina!”

“Bella had a great time with Belinda. I usually do not board Bella because she is so tiny and very spoiled. She was given a lot of love and attention…I highly recommend Belinda to are for your fur babies. Bella is a little Princess and when I saw how much (in just a few days stay) that she had bonded with Belinda I knew that I will board my baby with her anytime I need to be away from home. Thank Belinda and Brian”

“Cindy is an amazing puppy sitter. I definitely recommend!!! 😇 I was out of town for the 1st time in Andrews 5months of life, and it felt like I didn’t miss one moment of my baby boy day/s. Cindy kept me updated and shared all is funny moments he encountered with her and her family. Keeping Andrew’s tight schedule was important to me, and priority for her. Ms Cindy will definitely be Andrew’s home away from home ❤️”

“What a great “home away from home”. LOVE this sitter and how happy my girls are to return with wagging tails. Grateful to Rover for a platform of connecting people with boarding services. Couldn’t be more grateful that Paige joined.”

“This is our first review having used Rover.com for the first time: My husband found Tisha M. (and her husband, along with their own fur kids) to take care of our Sadie while we both had to be out of town simultaneously in separate directions. My husband met Tisha when he took our Sadie and I met Tisha when I went to pick her up. Both of us were very pleased with the hospitality shown and the kindred love of animals that Tisha and her husband sincerely projected. We so enjoyed receiving photos of Sadie while we were away. The photos of her playing, going on walks, and being sweetly attended to made leaving her behind for a week much easier. Would I take my Sadie girl back to Tisha M.? Yes, indeed. Very kind, salt of the earth, type of folk. Five stars. ”

“Manuel did an amazing job boarding my two-year old husky! He was thorough in his communication and adherence to her schedule and she made a great transition because of it. I could not have asked for a better boarding experience via Rover.”

“Excellent care received for my pet beagle. They gave him lots of attention which he adores and he thoroughly enjoyed playing with her dogs. She sent over lots of pictures and videos as well. I was grateful finding her last minute for our trip to Corpus Christy and glad our pup was in loving care!”

“She was amazing! Accommodating and loving towards our Suzie. Mrs. Bobbye treated our puppy like her own. Her home is very pet friendly. Our Suzie was able to lounge on furniture and run her little heart out in a large fenced back yard. She had lots of love and companionship with Mrs. Bobbye and her family (her own fur babies included). I received many updates and photos which gave me peace of mind over night. Definitely will use her services again. Highly recommend.”

“Carolyn was wonderful, she loved Henry and treated him like her own. She sent me pics and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of Henry while we were out of town.”
“Stefani was a great help ! We were in town and totally forgot the Texas State Aquarium didn’t allow pets. She took Lola into her home while we were at the aquarium. Kept me updated. When back in town and needing a sitter will definitely book again! Thank you once again!”

“Outstanding service. Our puppy had such a great time with Ingrid and her “crew”. It was such a relief to see pictures of our Gracie having a great vacation while we were on ours. I will be happy to use Ingrid again.”

“Lillian is truly AMAZING! Ollie loves her so much that he didn’t want to leave. She was very accommodating and even had a meet up before so Ollie could meet her. 10 out of 10 service. We will be using Lillian for now on. Thank you Lillian!!”

“Ashley took great care of Bruno! He loved playing in her yard and with her children and pets. She was very flexible with drop off/pick up which is greatly appreciated when you’re traveling.”

“Megan responded quickly after a previous sitter cancelled after I was already on vacation. She spent multiple hours playing with my cats over many visits making sure they were being loved on and even brought in packages. She took a ton of pictures for me and assured me Henry and Kip were doing great! I will definitely be using her again!!!”

“Nana O. Did a great job checking in on our sweet Sadie while we were out of town! It made our travels super peaceful knowing we could depend on her to check in while we were gone! Highly recommend her and will book with her on future occasions!”

“This has been my 2nd time using Jackie and she's by far the absolute BEST and I absolutely ADORE her! I have 3 dogs. A senior, a 9 yr old and 1 yr old who is rambunctious as all get out and she is so gracious with them all. Definitely plan on using her again and again.... AND AGAIN 🤣”

“Karen is so great with my cats! She did such an amazing job giving my cat pumpkin her medication and went above and beyond with my other cats as well. She responds quickly, is flexible, friendly, and was great at communicating with me while I was out of town. I will definitely be rebooking her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

About: I've been around dogs since I was a child, and I see them as part of the family. I got my first dog when I was eleven, but our house grew and grew with multiple dogs, and I currently help care for my family's six dogs. In addition, my parents and I have fostered dogs together, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who needed extra patience, structure, and reassurance while adjusting to new environments. I have years of experience dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, including overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and giving my full affection and attention. Through fostering, I learned how to read dog behavior, help dogs feel safe in unfamiliar situations, and learned to support basic routines and transitions. What sets me apart is how attentive I am to learning each pet's individual needs. I will always take the time to learn their routines, levels of energy, and their own personalities so they can feel safe, comfortable, and loved by me while their owners are away. I'm currently a part-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive to the pets I'm caring for. I'm able to plan my days around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins, so your pets will receive consistent care throughout the day. My top priorities are always to create a safe, trusting environment and to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. I make sure all pets feel secure, calm, and loved. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency as needed and possible. In a client's home, I treat the space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where all pets feel comfortable and cared for, and each owner feels confident they've left their pets in good hands.

“Penelope was absolutely incredible! Our situation is a bit unique since we have donkeys, goats, and horses in addition to our cats, but she handled everything with so much care and attention. I can be very particular about how my animals are cared for, and Penelope followed every detail perfectly. While we were gone for two weeks, she kept me at ease with frequent updates and photos, which I truly appreciated. On top of taking such great care of the animals, she was respectful of our home, kept everything clean, and even did her own laundry before leaving. It gave us such peace of mind knowing everything was in her hands. I honestly couldn’t imagine a better person for the job, and we will absolutely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Penelope, for everything—you’re a gem!”

About: As a child, my step mom rescued cats from the shelter. I had many years of experience caring and playing with cats. We now have a sweet mama cat with kittens that we are loving. Our mama cat has adopted two kittens that another mom couldn't care for. It has honestly been a magical experience! My daughter, 17, and I can bring this level of care and affection to your sweet kitty cats!

“Madalyn is was AMAZING! She was very communicative and took a lot of photos to help me ensure my pup was in good care! She kept me updated with everything and was very responsible. I will be using Madalyn moving forward and hope you do too! Thank you again x10000! 11/10 would recommend her to any and everyone!”

“Ingrid spent a lot of time interacting with my four dogs at every visit. She made sure they had plenty of outside playtime. One was a newly rescued stray that although lovable was quite a handful. She was completely unfazed. The dogs finished every visit with her happy and relaxed. She took care of the cats also and even my shy kitty warmed up to her. I will definitely use Ingrid again for our next trip.”

About: My family has always had pets. Growing up, we had dogs of every kind and size. As an adult, we have had several pets, but currently have one husky named Luna and one cat named Darcy Binks! They are well loved. Let us bring our care and affection to your sweet pets! I'm a homemaker mom of six babies, one dog, one cat, and 8 kittens. “Arden is Wonderful ! Our corgi is thrilled with her and she is super professional, responsive, friendly and loving. Smart and intuitive and knows just what he needs (walk/play etc). We are already rebooking and highly recommend!”

“Ashely immediately established a positive rapport with our possibly difficult dog and continued building that relationship throughout her contract. Both our dog and cat were well and fine upon our arrival home. Ashley's communication was thorough and consistent. Doppler got walked at least once each day weather permitting. Both dog and cat received good interaction and playtime each day. We recommend Ashely to anyone for either dog or cat care.”

About: I have experience cat and dog sitting for various breeds and ages, and have been doing this for most of my adult life—I love it. From taking your dogs on walks, staying over night with your kitties or puppies, or even taking care of them when they are sick, I would love to make sure your pet is taken care of just as you would yourself. I’ve dealt with rambunctious wire hairs, skittish kittens, and everything in between. I am so excited to meet your favorite doggo or kitto and love on them! I currently have a flexible schedule. When dropping in or taking your pets on a walk I am available 2-3 times a day. For overnight stays I am able to be there every night (all night) and stop in during the day between my work schedules (I work multiple part time jobs for better flexibility). I would be happy to discuss what this looks like further! Please keep in mind I cannot be at your home all day everyday for housesitting / animal sitting unless it is booked over a month in advance and it would cost more as I would need to take time off from other work to make that happen. But if you do not require that level of attention then things will be much easier to figure out! However you choose for me to care for your pets inside your home I am ready and prepared to do! I love cuddling with your pets and making sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. All I ask is for clear instructions so I can keep your fur baby’s schedule and environment as consistent as possible.
“We are so thankful for Karen as this is our third time in using her for our long trips to walk our dog. She goes above and beyond. You can tell her love for dogs from the messages she sends daily! It brings me comfort to know he’s been treated well.”

About: I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, etc! I’m a huge believer that they’re like family! I had a dog of my own for most of my life that was blind and diabetic, so I’m familiar with taking care of dogs of old age and medical care. I currently work as a flight attendant as well so my schedule varies week to week! I typically have spans on days on/off that make it easy for me to take care of your pets for several days! I live in an apartment that has sidewalks and grass all around, it’s a pet friendly complex:) I have no other pets or children that affect the environment. I’m also nearby a jogging trail that I love to take pets on for walks!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I was little from walking to doing tricks and playing with them. I love laying with them aswell and I will always give them lots of attention whenever I’m with them and so will my friends!! I’m currently a college student at TAMUCC and only have morning classes on Tuesday and Thursday and after that I am free to hang out with your babies. I care for pets in my home by letting them be in my room lay on my bed and or couch letting them be free. I make sure they are well taken care of and will always keep an eye on them.
About: I’ve always have had a huge heart for all animals since I was a kid. Now that we have adopted our baby I got to quit my job and stayhome. But I would love to do something I actually love and that is taking care of fur babies. I have 5 dogs and 1 cat ranging from pitbull, American Bully, miniature pincher, and two Frenchies. They are definitely spoiled for sure. I am available anytime except for overnight visits. My fur babies are very gentle with our son and he will learn to love animals as well.. I have a fenced backyard that our fur babies get to enjoy sunbathing in playing as much as they like. I will not be bringing any animals to our home just for the safety of not knowing how my dogs would like other dogs in their yard..

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely understand how important pets are to their families because I’m a pet parent myself. I currently care for two dogs of my own—Apollo, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky, and Milo, a 3-year-old Shih Tzu—which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, patience, and attention. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers a calm and relaxing environment, I will adapt to their needs and routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I am dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping pet owners informed through regular updates and photos. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I strive to provide peace of mind by treating every pet as if they were my own. My experience with both a high-energy Husky and a small companion breed has taught me the importance of exercise, consistency, supervision, and positive interactions. Above all, I provide a safe, loving environment where pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. Right now, pet care fits into my schedule primarily on weekends. I am starting with weekend availability so I can dedicate my full attention and energy to each pet I care for without conflicting weekday commitments. This allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-ins, or overnight care while ensuring pets receive consistent attention and supervision. On weekends, I have the flexibility to plan my time around feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific routines each pet needs. I make it a priority to follow the owner’s instructions closely so pets stay comfortable and maintain their normal routine while their owners are away. As I grow on Rover, I plan to gradually expand my availability into weekdays as well. My goal is to eventually offer more flexible scheduling while still maintaining the same level of care, communication, and dependability that I provide on weekends. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home. I make sure to follow all instructions exactly as provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication needs, and any house rules to keep the pet’s environment consistent and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain a calm, clean, and secure environment. I ensure doors are properly closed and locked, pets are always supervised during visits, and I stay attentive to anything that could affect their safety or comfort. I focus on building trust with each pet by being patient, gentle, and allowing them to adjust at their own pace. I also keep pet parents updated with messages, photos, and notes so they always know how their pet is doing. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, just as they would with their own family.
About: In addition to living with dogs at home for years (Newfoundlands and labs) I have spent the past few years pet sitting with Rover and fostering with my local animal shelter. I’ve worked with reactive, anxious, and high energy dogs- taking the time to build strong bonds so they can be successful! I am currently a PhD student with gaps between classes and work! This allows me to stop by before and after classes depending on your pet’s needs. I am active and able to take them for runs/walks, to the park, or play outside if that is most comfortable for you and them. I’m comfortable taking them in my car which has a backseat cover and seatbelt so we can go on adventures as well.
About: I always volunteer at local rescues and since I was a little girl I have always wanted a dog but have never been able to get one due to my mom being allergic so any chance I get I’m always pet sitting for family friends and coworkers and neighbors and I volunteer because taking care of them makes me feel as though they are my pets 🥰 I have a part time job that takes up just a little time in my day the rest I have so much free time and I love to be productive and active when I have free time. I would prefer taking care of the pets in the clients home just because it is more convenient for me because my mom is allergic to animals and so that doesn’t work out for me and I think it is more for the owner because they don’t have to pack anything or worry about bringing me anything for there pet.

Five stars. ”

“If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and absolutely fantastic dog sitter, look no further! I recently left my 3 month old puppy with Jennifer S. and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met, it was clear how much she truly cares for animals. She took the time to learn about specific needs, and routines, which put my mind at ease right away. Throughout the stay, she provided regular updates, including photos about what my puppy had been up to—walks, playtime, and all the cuddles! It’s obvious that my puppy was well cared for and I think she was not happy to leave her new friends. Jennifer S. treats her clients’ pets as if they were her own, which is so reassuring. If you need someone who’s trustworthy, experienced, and goes the extra mile, I highly recommend Jennifer S.”

“Brooke was great with Rue my frenchie. Rue was able to play with Brooke's dogs which was awesome as she loves to play. Brooke sent updates and pictures, loved that. I will definitely be rebooking.”

“Lauryn and Loren were really great they got back with me really fast and I really appreciate them helping me and my girlfriend out I plan on using them all the time I will recommend them to everyone thank you both”
