For households that don't have a backyard for me to let the dogs out to potty, if it's raining and cold, I will not be able to walk the dog until the rain has stopped. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but cold + rain = sick sitter 🤒 Please make sure you understand and are ok with these policies before we schedule a meet and greet so as to prevent any friction that may arise during the visit. When I care for animals in or out of the clients' home, the goal is to keep the animal as comfortable as possible. I require an interview to meet the pets and their owners prior to sitting to gain a feel of the environment, the pet parents and fur babies. I also take this time to learn the daily routine and answer any questions. I have beds, crates, toys, treats, anything to cater to your critter. There's daily playtime in the backyard to ensure your buddy gets plenty of exercise. Each dog walk experience is tailored to the specific personality of the dog. My shifts do change each week, so I do need to make sure certain days work, but other than that I’m available Monday-Sunday! I am currently unable to host other animals in my home but am available to care for the animals in your home! When meeting new animals, I always make sure to go slow and allow them to get used to me. I also make an effort to take pictures of pets during walks or while spending time with them.
About: I have taken care of many dogs through out my years from small chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. I currently own a German Shepherd, Blue Heeler and two Great Pyrenees that I love with all my heart. I have experience with many breeds and also with training dogs. I can potty train them and teach them a few discipline skills like sit and stays and also teach them funny tricks. I have always loved animals and I want to use this opportunity to experience more with animals as a future veterinarian. About: I am a college student who loves all animals! I am studying biology with the end goal of becoming a veterinarian. I work as a dog groomer and have previous experience working at a vets office. I like to visit the dogs I watch two to three times a day at the owners home as keeping them in an environment they are familiar reduces stress I have found.
