“We are new returnees to the area who needed last-minute boarding for our 13-year-old dog. (<3 days). Tracy and the family took excellent care of our Senior pet! The process was extremely well refined from booking to pickup. They are extremely responsive to messages and questions. The family also seems to have extensive experience with dogs of all ages! We will be using them in the coming months as our preferred choice for local boarding.”

“Dropping our dogs off at Megan's was like dropping our dogs off at a second (more fun) home! My two great pyrnees mix pups love people and dogs, so Megan gave them a space that kept them busy and happy. They got to cool off daily in the doggy kiddie pools and play with other dog friends. Our dogs love the dirt and mud when playing, so Megan bathed them before sending them home, which was above and beyond. If you're looking for a person to love your dog like one of their own, choose Megan!”

“Roy and Bethany are just amazing! My newest baby Frosty had his first experience there this last weekend. He did so well. As a dog that has never truly been socialized, they did such an amazing job to help him.thank you!!”

“I DREADED boarding our dogs, UNTIL we met Mikayla & Stephen and their amazing family. They are truly a Godsend and care for our dogs with so much love. Our dogs LOVE going over to Mikayla & Stephen’s, as they get to play with other dogs, cats and of course the sweetest kids!! Mikayla sends plenty of pictures/ videos and updates! I know when we drop our dogs off, they are in great hands! Thank you Mikayla and Stephen for being a home away from home for our doggies!!! See y’all again soon!”

“Top notch!!! We are so pleased with our pups stay!! The girls were snuggled and well cared for! She has a fabulous family and a lot of little helpers to keep everyone happy! Especially thankful she could keep them over a holiday!”

“Paul was able to take in our dog in a last minute notice. He is a kind person and knows how to take care of a dog. Our dog was a little nervous when not home but he handled very well. If we would need a rover service in area again, we would come back to Paul.”

“London was great! Georgie came home happy and relaxed after a 9-day stay while I was traveling. I got daily updates and felt reassured the entire time that Georgie was in good hands.”

“Our dog Taco had a BLAST! We went on vacation, but apparently so did Taco. Gisella sent us pictures of Taco 2-3 times a day and was very responsive. We can’t say enough good things about the family, and they worked with us on dropoff/pickup even though we booked with short notice. I highly recommend leaving your pet with Gisella if you want them to be left in a loving home with a loving family. We will definitely be booking with Gisella in the future.”

“Kayla did an amazing job!! Bailey came home so worn out and happy, couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker! She sent me pictures throughout the stay and made sure my pup was taken care of!! 10/10 recommend”

“Peyton did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of Bohdi! From the moment we connected, Peyton was professional, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Bohdi can be a bit particular at times, but Peyton handled everything with patience and care, making sure he felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication—it gave me complete peace of mind knowing Bohdi was in such good hands. It’s clear Peyton goes above and beyond, not just meeting expectations but truly caring for pets as if they were their own. When I returned, Bohdi was relaxed, well cared for, and clearly had a great experience. I would absolutely trust Peyton again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”

“My family and I were out of town for my daughter’s competition and we had to bring our 7 month old puppy, Boomer, a mini Golden Doodle. He doesn’t travel much so he was Not okay with being in the hotel alone for any length of time. We didn’t know what to do and decided to download the Rover app and reached out to Betty who responded so quickly and agreed to watch my baby last minute. She rearranged her schedule to help us out. Boomer is usually nervous and scared of strangers but he warmed up to Betty pretty quickly which gave me so much peace of mind. She also keep me in the loop of all they did and how my boy was doing which was so reassuring. I’d book with Betty over and over again if I could. She is indeed the ideal caretaker for your fur babies.”

“James was very communicative, sending me daily updates unless I requested them earlier than he messaged. James has good energy and my dog seemed about as good as she could be when I left, and no worse for wear when I picked her up a few days later. My only nitpick is that the photos on James' profile are not current, so I was a little thrown off when the backyard was in a rough state compared to the photos I had seen. Will use James again should I ever need a sitter.”

About: I have 3+ years of house sitting for a friend's dog, feeding and water for his dog, and walking his dog twice a day. I have no special skills. I just have myself and a way of bonding with animals that I meet. I am currently unemployed, but currently looking for another full time job. In the mean time, I have the opportunity to walk for fitness for myself, and to take care of your pet walking them too for you. The neighborhood I live in is a safe neighborhood. I hardly read on KBTX about any crime in the area. Also, there is plenty of sidewalks throughout the neighborhood to walk on and no one bothers you while walking.
About: I have loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I gained hands-on experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also sheep and horses. I am experienced with pets of all ages, including senior animals, and I will always ensure your pets are safe, comfortable, and treated like family while they’re in my care. Pet care would be part of my everyday schedule. I would plan my day around feeding times, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and making sure each pet gets attention and comfort. I’m used to being responsible and checking in on animals multiple times throughout the day, so I can easily adjust my routine to meet their needs. In my own home or a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they are fed on schedule, always have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime based on their energy level and personality. I also keep their space clean by picking up after them, cleaning litter boxes or accidents right away, and making sure their environment stays safe and calm.

Because I work remotely, my schedule is flexible and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Adventure-ready dog walkers - Clay
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! My only mission is to make your pet most comfortable, and I will do whatever I can to make it so. I understand that every pet is different, and am more than happy to accommodate for all. My goal is to limit their schedule changes to create as little stress as possible while you’re gone. Whatever walking or feeding schedule you provide will be the one that I adopt when caring for your babies!
“Brittany is kind, responsive, clear, thorough, thoughtful, communicative, and very appreciated in our household! She’s walked my dog 15+ times & we will absolutely be requesting her services again in the future. Highly recommend!!”

“Absolutely the best. Our 3 pups got the luxury of having Heather as there walker for nearly three weeks during the round top antique show and as a vendor we couldn’t have had a better place of mind then having who we had each day for the kiddos.”

About: I've been taking dogs for jogs since I was about 7 years old. By 12, I was THE go-to pet sitter in my mom's work circle, often doing week long stints during summers. Professionally, I worked as a dog groomer, and enjoyed that job like no other! I have experience in caring for senior pets on strict medication regimens as well as wound-care. It would be my pleasure to get to know you and your fur-babies, and to provide your pets with the same level of love, care and structure that I give to my own dog and cats at home. I am currently working part time, so have plenty of hours in the day in which I can care for your pet. I have both early morning and afternoon-evening availability, as well as weekends. Whatever your needs, I'm sure we'd be able to come up with a pland that suits you and your fur-babies. We live in a home with a spacious back yard that is fully fenced. I have one medium sized dog, who can either play with your pup, or be kept separated, depending on your dog's preferences. In your home, I will ensure your pet is given the same level of love and care I give to my own, but from the comfort of their environment. If you are ok with going on walks in your neighborhood then you can bet we'll be pounding the street while your pet is in my care! I'll stick to parks/neighborhoods your pet is familiar with, unless you would prefer the get exposure to new areas.

I have plenty of time on my day to care for animals. I already have my 3 that I am used to caring for. I am confident I can take care of other animals with their own needs. In my home I will keep animals separated if need be. I can also keep them together if they get along well and can play. When going to someone else’s I will be respectful of their home and make sure no animal goes outside without leash. I will also keep the animal wherever they are comfortable in their own home.

About: I have not been active on Rover for a couple years in order to dedicate all of my time to college and preparing for law school, but as that chapter is coming to a close, I am back! Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve taken care of 2 dogs on my own, because both my parents had full-time jobs. When my senior dog was diagnosed with fatal cancer, I was her main caretaker up until her last minute. You can count on me to take special care of your senior pets just as well as I did my own. Furthermore, I recently got my first puppy independently and raised her completely on my own. That being said, raising a puppy (especially a GSD) is not for the faint of heart, therefore I feel very experienced with caretaking and dog ownership. I’m young, full of energy, and responsible so I would love to share this with your high-energy pets too! I can adhere to both sides of the spectrum, old and slow or young and spunky. Your pets are in good hands with me! I provide my GSD, Zoey, with daily exercise and stimulation. At the very least, Zoey gets 2 walks per day, each of which are 30 mins to 1 hour. I also take Zoey with me everywhere possible (picking up groceries, studying at a coffee shop, exploring nature trails, etc). Other than taking care of Zoey’s needs, if my profile is active, I am extremely flexible with scheduling! I will adhere to the owners instructions and preferences precisely. I know how hard it is to trust someone else to take care of your furry best friend as well as you would yourself, but I promise to do exactly as asked and more! I have a deep passion for animals and would want a sitter to treat my pets as well I would, or better. You’re pets are in great hands with me.

“Buster and I love Lezlie! It's been such a great piece of mind to know that he's getting some exercise and a potty break when I am stuck at work all day. She always gives good updates after their walks, and it brightens my day! Thanks Lezlie!”
About: Owning many different kinds of breeds growing up and currently owning 4 dogs, you can trust your pup is in the right care and getting the attention they deserve! I’m currently working from home so I can prioritize the needs of any pups booked with me. From boarding to regular walking and potty breaks! I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room to run. During hotter months or days I love to fill up the doggy pool and let them splash around.
About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was around the age of 6. My friends would have me come down and take care of their pets while gone for trips/school. I am currently raising a dog and a cat together and they are the best of friends. I work comfortably around animals and would love to become friends with yours. Currently I am working part time at HEB trying to at least work 30 hours a week. My schedule varies from week to week but I get 2 weeks advanced scheduling so I will be able to adjust my calendar frequently. I can work on days that I am off, overnight before any late HEB shifts, and after work any day as well. If you need me to take care of your animal for any long period of time let me know 3 weeks in advanced so I may take days off. I live in a one bedroom apartment with a dog and a cat. The cat will cause no issues and I can separate them in rooms if needed. As for my dog he is a sweet little baby and is open to more furry friends. My complex has its own fenced in dog park if you would like your animal to free roam. There are also plenty of blocks with grass and an actual quiet park nearby.

“Lezlie was a great sitter! We reached out last minute, and she was able to accommodate our dog, no problem. It was super easy to coordinate drop off and pick up, and she sent daily photos of our pup. Will def use again!”

“Ashlyn was great with Bon Bon. She kept me updated with information and not to mention pictures. Bon Bon found a new best friend and I will definitely be rebooking for any future trips!”

“My dog has so much energy and he came home wore out. Jessica sent me video of him playing and having fun at the dog park right by her home. He also got a cute Halloween scarf and goodie bag. Will book again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I understand how important it is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s going on walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving them attention and companionship, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m also patient with puppies who are still learning and gentle with senior dogs who may need extra care and attention. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so both you and your pet have peace of mind. I am currently taking online classes! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I make time every day for walks, feeding, playtime, and giving dogs the attention and care they need. My flexible schedule allows me to stay consistent with each pet's routine, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I have a fenced yard and live in a very pet friendly home. Safety is always the number one priority. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I follow each owner's instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and playtime to ensure pets stay happy and comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining a clean, safe environment. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family and strive to give owners peace of mind while they're away.
“Mary Jane took great care of Lucy! Lucy misses her momma when I leave her. Mary Jane gave her treats and spent time loving on her & Lucy had a great time! We plan to leave Lucy in Mary Jane’s care again.”

About: I began pet sitting in high school, visiting clients’ homes to feed their dogs and give them playtime while owners were away. Over time, this grew into a passion for understanding canine behavior. My interest in psychology, especially behavioral and humanistic approaches, along with my love for dogs, led me to earn my certification as a professional trainer. Whether I’m doing drop-ins, walks, boarding, or housesitting, I ensure every dog is enriched and cared for. I welcome all breeds and temperaments as if they were my own. My schedule is flexible for all types of dog care—except boarding and daycare. I use positive reinforcement to help keep your pup both physically and mentally stimulated. I'm versatile and reliable, and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth communication with all pet parents. I offer companionship and affection to pets in the absence of their owners, maintaining their routine and minimizing stress. In addition I maintain contact with the owners to update them on their pet's activities and wellbeing.

“My fur baby can be very nervous, which makes it hard on me to leave him with sitters or boarding places. With Tamara, though, I had peace of mind through his entire stay! She was very sweet and understanding with him and was great about responding to me in a timely matter. She sent updates and pictures throughout his stay as well! I knew he was in great hands, will definitely book again!”

About: I have taken care of pets for my parents, my friends, and family members. I started at just 12 years old with my parents dogs, when they weren’t around. I also took care of my friend’s dog when she would leave town. I always grew up with dogs and only knew about them. Until 3 years ago when I got two cats from a close friend. Now I have a great understanding of cats and I know their needs. I love cats and dogs very much and love taking care of them both. Your pet will be in good hands with me.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded not just by animals. Because of that, I’m comfortable with all personalities, temperaments, and care needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work outside the home, but I work close by where coming home at lunchtime to check on or check on furry friend it’s not a problem. I have a fenced in yard and I am very careful to keep the doors closed. I am responsible and aware of things going on around me.
