About: I have been around animals since I was a little girl and absolutely love taking care of them. I currently have a 7 year old cat and 3 German Shepherds, Diesel who is 13, Harley who is 5, and Quinn who is 4. They are incredibly sweet and loving and have truly made me learn the upmost responsibility of animals. I also was a massage therapist for 8 years and use to massage some elderly pets with hip issues. My boyfriend and I live on 10 acres of land and I wanted to take the opportunity to make it a loving and open environment for dogs to run and have fun instead of sitting in their crates at home. About: I've had dogs in my life since my infancy and love dogs. I don't have a favorite breed since I think all dogs are special in their own right but I'm a big fan of chihuahuas and bulldogs. I am a freelance artist so I have plenty of time to devote to animal care. I am able to bring my setup for overnight stays so my schedule won't be impacted during pet care. I have a shared two bedroom apartment that is surrounded by plenty of grassy walking areas and a fenced in dog park, so if your pets stay with me, we'll have lots to do. About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.
