After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”

“This was the first time we had Robert dogsit for us. We hired him for a 3 night stay and I gotta say he was amazing! He took her for long walks and his 3 little doggies loved our baby! We got lots of updates and pictures. Our baby was smiling in every picture. A lot of other sitters had a stipulation that our dog would need to be in a crate at night but he allowed Layla to sleep on her own bed and move about at will. About: I have taken care of many cats included barn cats. I had a cat in college with my roommates that we picked up as a stray! Pet care is just part of my everyday life. I work Monday through Friday 8–5, but before work my dogs always get to run and play outside to start their day. About: I’ve had pets for 6 years now. I got my first Ragdoll cat in 2020, then raised a black Labrador from a puppy in 2021. We spent a lot of time together and went on a lot of trips, so he’s pretty used to new places and changes. My friends used to call my pets “travel pets.” In 2024, I also got a Siamese cat. I’m very used to having pets around all the time and spending long hours with them. I really enjoy being with animals. Being around pets makes me happy and gives me a lot of energy, and I’m more than happy to spend time just hanging out with them, playing, walking, or keeping them company. I’m a PhD student at Texas A&M, and I mostly work from home since my work is computer-based. I don’t need to go into an office except for occasional meetings, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually like to take pets out first thing after I wake up, and during the day I have plenty of breaks where I’m happy to spend time playing with them or just hanging out. I’m around most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I often watch my friends’ pets, especially when they go home for holidays or travel, so I’m used to caring for pets that are new to me. I’m pretty good at getting pets to feel comfortable quickly, and I always take things slow and let them set the pace. I keep my place clean and calm, and I’m careful about safety and routines. About: Hello my name is Cayla. I’m from Houston, Tx and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). I’m choosing to do Rover so I can build clientele and so I can expand my knowledge on dogs outside my pit bull and a few other breeds I’ve dealt with within my family and friends. Hopefully I’m someone you’ll love and trust around your home and your four-legged best friend. I do work from home and only work 4 days out the week so it's no hassle making sure everything and everyone is doing great. During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

“Shyla is wonderful. I cannot stress how wonderful she (and her family) are. This was the first time we boarded our pups somewhere other than their vet’s office. After leaving our pups with her and heading to Mexico, we learned that my big black and tan coonhound has a real separation anxiety issue, which our vet never mentioned. He was awful for her. Really awful. But she (and her family) treated him with love and kindness, even as he made life incredibly difficult for them. I won’t ever board Ulysses and someone else’s home, but I am grateful that I not only learned about his separation anxiety problem, but that he was in a place where he was cared for, even when it was hard to do so. Shyla is a great communicator, sending updates and pics multiple times a day, and quick to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Shyla highly enough.”
About: Hi everyone! My name is Claire Reitan and I am a college student here in College Station. I have been dog/cat sitting for some time now back in my home town and in College Station. I am an animal lover and would love to be able to watch yall's furry friends if out of town, a little check-in on them while at work, or a little date-night! If you need someone to spoil your pets while you're gone - I'm your person! I am currently working full time but I am capable of taking care of your furry friends anytime I need to do so! I am very excited for this opportunity! In my clients home I will feed and make sure their pets of plenty of water as well. I will definitely play ball with them for a bit and maybe a walk as well! I will take the clients pet outside to go potty and make sure no messes are made as well.
About: Just a girl away for college without her cuddly friend. Looking to take care of other cutie pies. I’ve worked with older cats who take medication to young puppies. Big, small, cat, dog, I love them all! I'm a college student at Texas A&M. I am however taking an easier class load because I am about to graduate. Whoop! So I have quite a bit of free time. I just about do it all! I walk, water, feed, play, and clean up after. During my visit I also try and take the best pictures of your pet! Its always a fun time but the pictures always end up a little 🤪
“This was the first time we had Robert dogsit for us. We hired him for a 3 night stay and I gotta say he was amazing! He took her for long walks and his 3 little doggies loved our baby! We got lots of updates and pictures. Our baby was smiling in every picture. A lot of other sitters had a stipulation that our dog would need to be in a crate at night but he allowed Layla to sleep on her own bed and move about at will. We highly recommend him and will be hiring him again!!!”
About: I have taken care of many cats included barn cats. I had a cat in college with my roommates that we picked up as a stray! Pet care is just part of my everyday life. I work Monday through Friday 8–5, but before work my dogs always get to run and play outside to start their day. After work, we go for a walk every evening and spend time playing, training, or just relaxing together. On weekends I have more flexibility, so we get extra time outdoors and lots of snuggles inside. I also keep up with the little things each week—like brushing, washing bowls, and freshening up bedding—so they stay happy and comfortable. Caring for my pets is something I truly enjoy, and I’d love to give your pets the same love and routine that I give mine. I have two female dogs who love to run, play fetch, and play in the water. They do sleep in kennels at night. They are energetic and would love to play with your pup!
About: I’ve had pets for 6 years now. I got my first Ragdoll cat in 2020, then raised a black Labrador from a puppy in 2021. We spent a lot of time together and went on a lot of trips, so he’s pretty used to new places and changes. My friends used to call my pets “travel pets.” In 2024, I also got a Siamese cat. I’m very used to having pets around all the time and spending long hours with them. I really enjoy being with animals. Being around pets makes me happy and gives me a lot of energy, and I’m more than happy to spend time just hanging out with them, playing, walking, or keeping them company. I’m a PhD student at Texas A&M, and I mostly work from home since my work is computer-based. I don’t need to go into an office except for occasional meetings, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually like to take pets out first thing after I wake up, and during the day I have plenty of breaks where I’m happy to spend time playing with them or just hanging out. I’m around most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I often watch my friends’ pets, especially when they go home for holidays or travel, so I’m used to caring for pets that are new to me. I’m pretty good at getting pets to feel comfortable quickly, and I always take things slow and let them set the pace. I keep my place clean and calm, and I’m careful about safety and routines. I want pets to feel safe and relaxed, not stressed.
About: My mother was a vet ❤️ I have loved on a variety of animals to include exotic pets and much more since a young kid. I’m retired and currently in progress of building a Rescue Ranch i have close to 40 outdoor animals currently. I live out in the country with plenty of room. If you prefer indoors sitting I am definitely willing to accommodate. I can vouch that your fur babies will be taken care of like they were my very own. I am retired and home all day. I am currently building a Rescue Ranch so my schedule is very flexible. The only days or hours not available are Sunday for Church. I allow most pets inside or out. I do have a fence in property, also plenty of pasture space for larger animals or grazing if needed.

I work from home, and there is always someone home, so your furbabies will be in safe and loving hands! I'd love to be a great sitter for you (: I have a free schedule at this time, as I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can accommodate more specialized care for your pets needs. I have my own pets and one with special needs, their care is very important to me, so I know looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable caregiver is important! Look no further (: In my own home if your pet is kennel trained, for their own safety at night or while I am gone at work or to the store, they would be safely placed in their kennel to avoid any issues. If they are not kennel trained they will be placed in a separate room without any other animals to avoid any issues. I will be with them as much as possible to ensure they are safe and happy, they’ll get their regular walks, feeding schedule and treats with plenty of play time and toys. At your home I will try my best with my work schedule to adhere to the schedule you leave me for your pets walks, feeding routine, etc. to ensure no additional stress is placed on them with you being gone.
