About: I was 12 when I got my first dog, a cocker spaniel named Megara. My parents quickly put me in charge of her, and caring for her taught me to put another's needs before my own. I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.

We didn’t see their mother, and we sat there for about two hours waiting for her when she didn’t show, we decided to rescue the kittens, and I brought 2 into my own home. That flexibility is a big part of why I got Delphi at the start of my PhD. She has always had someone around to take her out during the day, and I can offer your dog the same. Before any payments or booking, I would like to set up a meet and greet so I can see how your dog responds to me. It tells me a lot, whether they warm up right away or need space, and it means the first day is not the first time we have met. This doesn't have to be long but it is a nice first impression to the dog. In my home, your dog will not be alone. Delphi is here as company, and I introduce new dogs to her slowly and on neutral ground so the first meeting goes well for both of them (like a local dog park). I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.
