About: I have been petsitting for over 15 years and still sit for my very first client ever. One thing I know is that my clients and I have a good basis for trusting one another, and I think it's the most important aspect of our relationship, really. Pets are so forgiving. I've put halters on wrong and certainly have not been able to duplicate their owners exact routines, but they seem to enjoy the attention and don't mind the silly mistakes. I'm looking to add clients who would like me to drop in and take care of simple stuff. I no longer walk bigger dogs....but I'm great at ball tossing and hanging out if you have to be away all day. I have experience with cats, too, of course. And I know that they are a lot more sociable than people realize. They get lonely, too. My biggest strength, I think, is that I am mature and reliable. I currently am working only a few hours a week at a retail job. I'm really retired, but I enjoy the job still......so long as I am not really, really working too much. My employer is very accommodating, so I can work one shift a week, and they are happy. I will drop in, spend half hour or an hour or two..whatever you wish. Take the dogs out for potty breaks, spend some time with them so they get some stimulation and attention. Feed them, water plants. Really, I'm pretty flexible.

Since my kids have gotten older, they have also taken responsibility in playing, walking, feeding and grooming our dogs. Our family is very active with a nice size yard, no back neighbors and a walking trail and lake right outside our gate. We have a sweet border collie named Millie! I am a part-time teacher which allows me to spend more time at home! I work out of the home 2 days a week and am home the other 5. I make sure to always have our dog leashed when taking walks and have our back gate closed. I also separate dogs when they are eating and do not leave food out.

She is very sweet and my dog immediately loved her and loaded her with kisses the moment they met. She showed up on time for each dog walk, sent pictures and the walk information. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and surrounded by them since I was a kid, my mom loved having our house full of animals and that she did! When any family member or friend goes out of town I’m the first person they call because they know how much i’d love to be around their dogs. A few years back I worked full time at a dog hotel in my area and was solely responsible of 30+ dogs in a day. Playing with them, feeding them, making sure certain dogs got their medicine, anything you could think of! Most of my free time is spent with my brothers 2 dogs that I live with as well. Being around dogs and taking care of them has come naturally for me since day 1! I’m a full time waitress at the moment but with it still being slow season I have multiple days off a week. I don’t start school for another month which gives me even more free time at the moment to hopefully implement dog care into it as much as possible! This will be something I thoroughly go over with the owner to specifically meet the needs of everyone. Whatever is needed or asked of me I have no hesitation or doubt of making that happen and ensuring everyone is properly and safely taken care of.
