“I would give Heather 10 stars if it were possible! We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”

About: Let me be honest, years ago, I would have never considered myself a cat person. Then, my sister approached me to adopt her 8 year old calico and the rest is history. I feel in love with Doonie and we became the best of friends. She was the sweetest, and sometimes, most loving creature on the planet, and other times she just wanted to do her own thing and I can completely understand that. Simply, I can relate. Ha! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their feline friends over the years. I easily adapt to the kitty and can be as hands on as he or she needs, but I can also read them well enough to understand when they do not want to be bothered. Following feeding instructions and cleaning a litter box will never be an issue. If administering medications is necessary, I have experience with this as well.

About: I have had many animals throughout my life. I have also cared for friends’ animals when they go out of town. Your fur babies will be well cared for with me! I am a stay at home mom to teenage boys, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am home all day most every day, so you can rest assured your pet is getting one on one attention every day of their stay! I have a fenced yard and a 9-pen boarding facility at my home. Each pen has access to a private, fenced potty area and your dog can either participate in group play or have private one-on-one play if they are more shy.

All pets are loved and cared for like they’re my own. I do offer pick up and drop off services I never leave pets unattended outside since I know dogs can jump and find their way out of fences. All dogs will wear a collar and leash at all times on walks. Making sure dog stays cool and doesn’t over heat. All pets will be kenneled when left unattended for safety purposes.

About: I’ve fostered over 300 cats and dogs since 2017 through Rescued Pets Movement and BARC in Houston, TX. I’ve worked in an upscale kennel/boarding facility in the past and can easily adhere to specific routines some pets may require. I currently live near the Medical Center in Houston, TX with my male fiancée. I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life- I love all animals but have much more experience with larger dogs vs. smaller breeds. I work 100% remotely and am home generally all the time on the weekdays unless I need to run out for an hour or two, during which my personal dogs are required to be crated by my landlord. Depending upon weekend plans, my personal dogs are crated for no more than 8 hours a day while we are out and are fine with this. I am happy to not make plans on a weekend I am watching your pets if they suffer from separation anxiety or similar condition. My two personal dogs are a 6 year old male black lab mix (Avery) and a 2 year old female Great Pyrenees rescue (Kona). They are both incredibly sweet and gentle with all animals and people they encounter. Kona is a bit shy with new people but is great around other dogs and LOVES cats. All of my animals, including my two female cats, are all spayed or neutered. We also have a “senior” kitty LadyBird who is around 7-8 years old and a 5 month old Russian Blue kitten named Romy. The cats are the well established bosses of the house but please do not book with me if you have a dog that is aggressive toward people, other dogs, or cats. I work 9-5, 100% remote from my home and can take as many breaks as needed for potty breaks and usually a trip or two per week to the local dog park after working hours. My animals are big couch potatoes and love to lounge around while I work and listen to music or watch tv. We always use slip lead leashes unless we are at the fenced in dog park. Because of my remote work, I am able to maintain a quiet, relaxed and peaceful home environment that would hopefully quell some animal anxiety being in a new place.

About: I have been a trainer of service and therapy dogs for a few years and a proud mom of 3 Golden Retrievers , a Corgi , a black cat, and a ragdoll cat. I take my Golden's every morning to the beach and walk them a mile to two miles a day. I know each dog needs the best love and care they deserve. One of my Golden's is a service dog and I understand the depth and care and respect an animal deserves as they save our lives everyday even in a non medical manner. I would love the honor of spending time with your dog . I have watched animals in my home for long periods of time. I will be able to give each animal 100% of my attention as i do my own. We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”
