In general, I’ve found that my favorite thing about cats is their peaceful nature but I see something endearing in the wild ones as well. “I cannot recommend Katy enough! She went above and beyond while caring for my cat, Frida, who is still adjusting after our recent move. Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. I’d be thrilled to book her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. If you want someone who treats your pet like their own and gives you total peace of mind, she’s the one!”

About: I have taken care of other pets since elementary school. Neighbors and friends, even farm animals like sheep and goats. I can take care of it all! I currently work part time and I’m just looking to make some more money over the summer. I have some extra free time while I’m on break form school so why not make some extra cash to save. I currently live in an apartment but there are multiple dog parks close by and plenty of space for nice long walks. It’s only me and my dog I’m my apartment right now but she is very well mannered and mellow.

I am able to provide care in the form of house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, depending on what works best for you and your pet. While I do not offer boarding in my home, I am fully committed to caring for pets in their familiar environment where they feel most comfortable. I am adaptable with timing and happy to follow your preferred schedule and routine to ensure consistency and comfort for your pet. About: I've had a lot of pets in my life. I currently have 6 dogs and 3 cats. I have experience with reactive dogs and dog selective dogs. I deal mostly with large and extra large dogs but have owned medium and small dogs. I've worked for a boarding kennel before so I have some professional experience with that. I am also a current foster to shelter dogs so I see different breeds and personalities all the time. I work a full time job. I work nights so I'm usually available during the day early mornings and evenings on the days I work. I can always find a way to make it work. I am happy to visit and care for a variety of pets by feeding and playing with them as well as helping with any household tasks including plant watering, checking the mail and throwing out trash/recycling. I am currently living in a tiny home on my own on a large plot of land with plenty of access to unfenced outdoor space if you are interested in boarding your pets. I am also very happy to come to your home for drop-in visits and/or to stay overnight if you and your pets would be more comfortable with that option. For dogs, I am happy to spend time indoors with them playing with toys and giving them good belly scratches as well as take them outdoors either into the backyard and/or on walks. I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.
About: I will provide what the dogs need to keep lifestyle like outdoor, hiking, activities , play with fetch and ball, I have a female lab 3 year old , I’m very active not like to sit in house. I’m available anytime, last minute, I do show love to dogs and my own lab the love they deserve just like humans. I’m friendly person to be around with and have a lot patience . About: Growing up with a veterinarian mother, we always had multiple pets in the home! When I was 22 I adopted my soulmate, Peaches. About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. About: I have lots of experience with different types of animals. We have three inside kitties that were rescued when they were still bottle feeding. Two years ago we lost our 19 year old Labrador to old age. And the year before that we lost our 16 year old chow chow to old age. I will feed, water, walk and clean up after the babies. “This was our first time booking with rover and we were for sure nervous - but Edwin was FANTASTIC! I’m such a nervous dog mom and our pup, Cigar, got a little sick just before we left town. So we were extra worried we wouldn’t be able to find a place for her to stay for 10 days on such short notice. But after leaving Cig with Edwin and receiving updates about her settling in right away, we instantly felt like she was in good hands. He was thorough with her meds, asked questions when needed, and sent the perfect amount of updates. We know Cigar was being well loved and soaking up the attention and yard space!
