“I think this was Abby's 5th time with Savannah and Gabriel. They are great with her. Abby is a handful as she is only 8 months old and still doing typical puppy things. I like that S and G meet me outside their apt building, so I just hand Abby over to them. They take up her bag of food and toys, and her crate and framed puppy pad, so I can be on my way. Same when I come to pick Abby up. They have one dog, also a shih tzu. I like that they do have a playmate for Abby and also that they just have one dog and she's a small one like Abby. As I've said before, their apartment is immaculate and very nice and so is their dog. So I know that Abby won't be finding stuff on their floor to chew up and swallow. (She's still in that phase.) They also have pee pads, a playpen, nice beds, etc. S and G always keep me informed with photos while I'm away. I'm so glad I found them.”

About: I have taken care of other pets since elementary school. Neighbors and friends, even farm animals like sheep and goats. I can take care of it all! “I cannot recommend Katy enough! She went above and beyond while caring for my cat, Frida, who is still adjusting after our recent move. Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. I’d be thrilled to book her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. If you want someone who treats your pet like their own and gives you total peace of mind, she’s the one!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since the age of sixteen. Family members and friends have trusted me in taking care of their fur babies when needed. I work full-time during the week, but my weekends are flexible for care Friday through Sunday. I’m available if needed for pop in’s or walks during the week in the evenings. Justin was great about sharing updates and photos while our Bonnie was in his care. After some initial apprehension, we relaxed realizing she was comfortable and happy with him. I am a full-time online veterinary technician student, and my sister Gracie is volunteering regularly at a local animal shelter with the goal of becoming a veterinary assistant. Because of our availability, you’ll be able to depend on us for walks, check-ins, and overnight care every day of the week. Your pets will always have priority in our schedules and routines! When caring for pets in our clients’ homes, we do our best to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. We follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions (medications, diets, etc.) to make sure your pet feels comfortable and stress-free when they’re without you. We spend quality time with each pet based on their needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. We’re happy to provide updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Currently a licensed veterinary technician. Can administer meds, which will help owners of older dogs feel more at ease, and notice signs of illness/distress easily. I own three friendly corgis. I love taking dogs on walks and playing with them out in the yard. Always available to house sit and keep pets at my house, It is very rare for me to say no. We have our lower yard fenced for dogs to run and play. I'm into cuddling with dogs on my couch, but if you don't allow your dogs on your furniture, I won't allow them on mine either. I am also comfortable and experienced in watching a variety of animals. I have watched horses, cows, sheep, goats, bunnies, reptiles, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, hamsters, and hedgehogs. I’m usually up quite early on days off so they’ll have maximum snuggle time I do my best to care for pets in their homes just like their people would, so they will be less stressed with their people gone
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and will naturally have a soft spot for your family friend. I have a little over 10 years experience. I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe and happy while their parents are away! I am always happy to send photo updates so you know how your doggo is doing each visit. I am currently a stay at home wife, meaning I have a very flexible schedule right now! I am available most week days and weekends, and I enjoy building pet care into my daily routine. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding or check ins, I make sure that each pet gets the time and care they need. I have a fenced yard and a safe, pet friendly home where dogs can play and relax comfortably. I prioritize safety and will follow your dog's routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks and any special care they may need. If you prefer your dog is crated for them to feel safe and secure, you will have to provide a crate but I can absolutely accommodate to that.

About: I've had a lot of pets in my life. I currently have 6 dogs and 3 cats. I have experience with reactive dogs and dog selective dogs. I deal mostly with large and extra large dogs but have owned medium and small dogs. I've worked for a boarding kennel before so I have some professional experience with that. I am also a current foster to shelter dogs so I see different breeds and personalities all the time. I work a full time job. I work nights so I'm usually available during the day early mornings and evenings on the days I work. I can always find a way to make it work. I have dogs that do not get along with other dogs or people. I am very used to a crate and rotate schedule and I'm very conscious of my dogs mood and behavior. I also have foster dogs, so I have new dogs in and out and ensuring safety is my top priority.
About: I’ve been a huge dog lover since I was ten years old! Growing up, I pet-sat for neighbors, family, and friends, so I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, and keeping pups entertained. About: I have lots of experience with different types of animals. We have three inside kitties that were rescued when they were still bottle feeding. Two years ago we lost our 19 year old Labrador to old age. And the year before that we lost our 16 year old chow chow to old age. I will feed, water, walk and clean up after the babies. I am a full time convenience store manager for TXB. I Rover on the side to help my youngest daughter pay for college. She is currently earning her masters degree and I want to be able to help as much as possible. I am available most evenings after 6p. During the summer I am available all day Friday and Saturday. During the winter I am available all day Saturday and Sunday. I do not wish to care for anyone’s fur babies in my home. It would stress my kitties and I will not put them through any stress. About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.
