“I think this was Abby's 5th time with Savannah and Gabriel. They are great with her. Abby is a handful as she is only 8 months old and still doing typical puppy things. I like that S and G meet me outside their apt building, so I just hand Abby over to them. They take up her bag of food and toys, and her crate and framed puppy pad, so I can be on my way. Same when I come to pick Abby up. They have one dog, also a shih tzu. I like that they do have a playmate for Abby and also that they just have one dog and she's a small one like Abby. As I've said before, their apartment is immaculate and very nice and so is their dog. So I know that Abby won't be finding stuff on their floor to chew up and swallow. (She's still in that phase.) They also have pee pads, a playpen, nice beds, etc. S and G always keep me informed with photos while I'm away. I'm so glad I found them.”

All of my animals have had different personalities, so I know how to deal with all different types of animals and adjust to their needs. “I cannot recommend Katy enough! She went above and beyond while caring for my cat, Frida, who is still adjusting after our recent move. Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. I’d be thrilled to book her again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. If you want someone who treats your pet like their own and gives you total peace of mind, she’s the one!”

About: I have taken care of other pets since elementary school. Neighbors and friends, even farm animals like sheep and goats. I can take care of it all! I currently work part time and I’m just looking to make some more money over the summer. I have some extra free time while I’m on break form school so why not make some extra cash to save. I deal mostly with large and extra large dogs but have owned medium and small dogs. I've worked for a boarding kennel before so I have some professional experience with that. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and any specific behavioral or comfort preferences. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine and personality to ensure they feel safe and secure while their owner is away. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and am comfortable administering medications when needed. I also provide consistent updates, including messages and photos, so pet parents can feel confident and reassured while they are away. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy presence for pets—minimizing stress by maintaining their normal routine and treating their space and care instructions with respect and attentiveness.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered both and been a cat owner. I have also helped friends and acquaintances with their pets while they are away. My experience includes walking dogs, scooping 💩, changing litter boxes, providing food and play to pets, and completing general house sitting tasks. I have also administered eye medications to kittens before and allergy meds to dogs. I have also lived on a couple of farms and helped take care of horses, goats, chickens, and even a rabbit. I would love to take care of your pet and offer you the peace of mind to know I will love on and care for them as if they were my own :) I’m self-employed, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. Specifically, I am a Certified Public Accountant who quit her consulting job to become a part-time farmer! I am currently operating my own micro-farm growing organic vegetables and flowers in South Austin which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I am available for boarding, house-sitting, pet walking and drop-in visits to feed and play with cats and dogs (and other animals on a case by case basis). I am happy to visit and care for a variety of pets by feeding and playing with them as well as helping with any household tasks including plant watering, checking the mail and throwing out trash/recycling. I am currently living in a tiny home on my own on a large plot of land with plenty of access to unfenced outdoor space if you are interested in boarding your pets. I am also very happy to come to your home for drop-in visits and/or to stay overnight if you and your pets would be more comfortable with that option. For dogs, I am happy to spend time indoors with them playing with toys and giving them good belly scratches as well as take them outdoors either into the backyard and/or on walks. I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.
About: I will provide what the dogs need to keep lifestyle like outdoor, hiking, activities , play with fetch and ball, I have a female lab 3 year old , I’m very active not like to sit in house. I’m available anytime, last minute, I do show love to dogs and my own lab the love they deserve just like humans. I’m friendly person to be around with and have a lot patience . About: Growing up with a veterinarian mother, we always had multiple pets in the home! When I was 22 I adopted my soulmate, Peaches. Five years later, she was diagnosed with heart failure at a terrifying hospital visit. My quick reaction, and the incredible Dr's, saved her life. She lived another happy 10 months with vigilance and guidance. Having to pill her twice a day, and keep a close eye, I became a pro! At the same time, I was taking care of clients pets, never missing a beat. Special skills include giving medications, insulin, incredible patience and attention to detail. When your babies are with me, they're treated as my own. I won't miss a thing! I am available, and used to, a full time pet care schedule! Having just moved from my last position in Virginia, I'm ready to establish an incredible client base here in Bastrop. I have a large fenced yard at home, on a quiet street. Pets will never be left unattended, and will always be on leash when leaving the home. Pets will always be handled gently and with care, while maintaining a strong grip on the leash! Water bowls will be clean and filled at every visit, every time. In home cameras are welcome to keep a close eye on your baby! I will also be snapping pictures for you to follow along on our adventures.
About: I have had a few dogs from friends and families that I have taken care of over the years for free. I have my own dog that I have had since he was a puppy that is very well trained would love to meet other dogs and experience new fur friends. I work at home and I take breaks very very often. I go to my backyard and even parks just to walk. I would love to take them for walks as well. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs go out often. Morning, Afternoon, and 2 times in the evening. Just to make sure dogs use the bathroom and get that energy out before they fall asleep.

About: I’ve been a huge dog lover since I was ten years old! Growing up, I pet-sat for neighbors, family, and friends, so I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, and keeping pups entertained. I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life and am currently a proud Shih Tzu owner, so I definitely know my way around a big 'lion dog' personality! I also enjoy training; I’ve taught my dogs everything from basic sits and paw-shakes to 'wait' commands for meals and even some fun moves like dancing. I truly just love being around dogs! About: I have lots of experience with different types of animals. We have three inside kitties that were rescued when they were still bottle feeding. Two years ago we lost our 19 year old Labrador to old age. And the year before that we lost our 16 year old chow chow to old age. I will feed, water, walk and clean up after the babies. I am a full time convenience store manager for TXB. I Rover on the side to help my youngest daughter pay for college. She is currently earning her masters degree and I want to be able to help as much as possible. I am available most evenings after 6p. During the summer I am available all day Friday and Saturday. During the winter I am available all day Saturday and Sunday. I do not wish to care for anyone’s fur babies in my home. It would stress my kitties and I will not put them through any stress.
