“We had to make a last minute booking for our sweet pup and Valerie was amazing! She was flexible with our situation and made sure our dog was well cared for. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and attentive sitter.”

“Kimberley was absolutely AMAZING. My puppy Mango seemed so happy the whole time she was with her and her sweet dog Donut, and I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to give her the love and care that Kimberley gave her! I had only had my puppy for a couple weeks, and she has only had a little training so far. She is super high energy and such a cuddle bug and Kimberley was incredibly helpful with continuing with what Mango and I had been working on as well as giving her lots of enrichment, exercise, and cuddles!! I am so thankful to have found Kimberley and if you’re looking for someone to watch your fur babies, look no further!!! Kimberley is the BEST! 🥰”

“Cheyanne was great with my pup during her boarding. She sent plenty of pictures and kept me updated on how my dog was doing. I felt very comfortable leaving Rebel with Cheyanne and will definitely be doing so again in the future. Her home is great, with a spacious yard in the back.”

“Ashley took amazing care of our dog! She always replied very fast and sent photos/updates. Also her dog Carter is a very sweet little guy and great playmate/napping buddy!”

“Casandra is so caring and thoughtful. I will definitely be contacting her again when I have to leave town. My dog has a couple of issues. The can't use her front left paw much and she does lunge in the leash. Cassandra was really understanding and capable with both issues. She also let me up to date with pics and messages. She's really easy to communicate with, as well.”
“Mary was fantastic! I have a dog with bad separation anxiety and she did great at putting my dog at ease. Additionally she was great about sending updates which put me at ease as well. I definitely recommend Mary for your boarding needs and will book again for my next trip.”

“Margot had a lovely stay with Zhian and her family! I got lots of photo and video updates daily and I know Margot got showered with lots of love and attention at their home. Looking forward to another stay with Zhian!”

“Yujie was great! He's super communicative and dependable. Charlie had a great time with him and I'll definitely be going back to him next time I need a sitter!”

“Joel gave daily updates on my dogs and was sweet about doing slow introductions with my dogs and his cats. Very communicative and’s easy to work with for drop off and pick up. It also helps that he works from home because my dog can be quite anxious and I also appreciate that he only watched my dogs, so I didn’t have to be nervous about what may happen with other rover dogs as well. Will book again. Thank you Joel!”

“Renada is amazing. She is caring, knowledgeable and very responsive. I get many pictures for Beasley everyday as if I’m reading his diary. Beas absolutely looking to stay with Renada again!”

“Jacob was great and Lucy really seemed to enjoy her the time she spent with him! It was the first time I’ve left her overnight with a sitter and she did great! He sent updates and I was able to rest easy knowing Lucy was doing well! Would definitely book again”

“Jin and her family watched my dog, Veto, during an extended 16-day stay. She was wonderful, sending pictures and updates throughout the stay. I knew Veto was in good hands with her! Would definitely book again and recommend to others!”

“This was our 1st time booking with Jen. After our initial meet and greet, I could tell she was going to be a good fit. Jen was amazing with our little senior dog! She took such great care of him. She kept him active, curious and happy. Her photo and video updates were super cute and appreciated. He got along just fine with her small dogs and made new friends. Jen is such a dog lover and her attention and care for them are really impressive. I’m so glad we found her.”

“Chris is awesome! I have used him a couple times for Toffee. Toffee always has a good time there! I love that Chris sends updates with pictures! He is super caring and takes really good care of the dogs!”

“Gave good updates, doesn’t take on too many dogs at one time, and treats dogs like family. Their own dog, Winnie, seems good at showing the newbies the ropes and is so sweet.”

“Amor was amazing! This was Mango’s (our dog) first time ever staying with a sitter, and Amor did a wonderful job making Mango feel happy, loved and comfortable. She sent frequent updates and pics which we loved! Mango is very excited to hangout with Amor and Squid again🥭🦑”

“Seahee took amazing care of our cat, Boba, while we were away. She was thoughtful, attentive, and always kept us updated with detailed notes and plenty of photos. She even noticed some matted fur, carefully brushed Boba, and was gentle around the sensitive spots. On top of that, she spent extra time playing with Boba beyond what was expected, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure Boba was happy and comfortable. Knowing Boba was in such caring hands gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book with Seahee again. Highly recommended!”

“Melissa was incredible and went above and beyond! My kitties loved her and I am so grateful to her. She sent me pictures every single day, kept me updated on everything, and was overall the best car sitter a girl and her cats could ask for.”

“Renada is so kind, responsive, and accommodating. I booked her last minute when my original petsitting plans fell through, and she fit us in for a meet and greet right away. Everything went smoothly, and my cat seemed very comfortable with her.”

“Alice was the best! My dog was a new rescue and a little timid around strangers. She was so patient and kind and by day 3 Piper was excited when Alice got there to walk her. 10/10 recommend!”

“Marisa was wonderful with Mango and so communicative. She made me feel so comfortable and like my kitty was taken care of and safe. It was obvious that she is great with animals because she was able to pick up on mangoes personality very quickly. I would definitely recommend booking Marisa and will do so myself again in the future.”

“Lara did a great job of caring for our baby. He absolutely adored her and she followed directions perfectly. She was great at providing updates. I would highly recommend Lara and will use her in the future!”

“Brandy was proactive and responsive in her communication. She was patient and caring with my cat. Great experience, I highly recommend her and will not hesitate to use her in the future.”

“I had a great experience with Michelle! Having never used Rover before I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but I feel lucky to have had her for my introduction to the app. Michelle was on time, easy to contact, and took a ton of cute photos of my kitty, which were so fun to receive while I was out of town. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone! 😊”

“William was absolutely wonderful with our cats. Usually every time we travel I spend the whole trip worrying and missing them, but this time we felt completely at peace. He sent us so many pictures and updates, and it was obvious how happy and comfortable our cats were with him. They truly loved him, and that meant so much to us. We are so glad we found William, and even happier that he’ll be available again for our next trip. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our cats will be with someone familiar, caring, and trustworthy. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

“Mariia was amazing! She went above and beyond taking care of our cats. She also sent us lots of videos so we could be sure our cats were well taken care of while we were away. Would hire her again next time without question.”

“Repeat client here :). Suzanne is very communicative, confirms things ahead of time, sends plenty of pics, and is great with our cats. I will definitely book with her again when she’s available.”

“Thank you Jenny for doing such a great job! They looked so happy to have you there (for cats). I'd be more than pleased if you'd be open to watching them again in the future.”

“Eileen was amazing. I had to leave town for Christmas and couldn’t take my cat Barty with me. It was the first time we would be separated for several days so I was a little anxious. Eileen gave me so much peace of mind with her daily updates and photos! Barty looked very happy to see her every time, laying on her lap and just generally being his usual lovebug self. I came back to a clean smelling home (every cat owner knows the slight dread of wondering just what state the litter box will be in) and a calm cat who had clearly been well cared for in my absence.”

“Jenna was FANTASTIC! Enjoyed her upbeat, happy personality and appreciated her longtime experience taking care of cats. She got my finnicky cat to eat - and taught me a couple of tricks to help in the future. She sent detailed reports each day with lots of fun pics, which we really enjoyed while we were away from our baby! We will definitely hire Jenna again, and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Francis was a great help when we needed to find someone last minute to check-in on our rabbit, Max. They were very communicative and we felt at ease knowing Max was taken care of. Would highly recommend their services and will book again if the opportunity lines up!”

“My senior pup Lexie stayed with Valerie and Juniper for daycare in advance of a longer boarding stay. Valerie was very attentive to Lexie’s nervousness and tried to make her as comfy as possible. I appreciate Valerie sending updates and photos throughout the day. Lexie will be back!”

“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

“Absolutely amazing, came in last minute when my plans for a dog sitter had fallen apart and took amazing care of my fur baby. I think our trip ended up being more fun for him than it was for us thanks to Jen. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
“Casandra took great care of Niko during my day trip out of Austin. When I picked up Niko, he was happy and tired! Casandra made sure Niko got along with her dog Cory by having a meet-and-greet beforehand. She also updated me with a lot of photos from the day. Would definitely drop Niko off with her and Cory again! Thanks, Casandra.”

“Ashley does an incredible job with my pup, Kona. I was a bit nervous about leaving her with someone else, but Ashley made me feel really comfortable and gave me a lot of updates! She also has been incredibly flexible with my crazy schedule and accommodating with Kona's preference to only be with smaller dogs. Thanks Ashley!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Jeff was awesome with Bo. I got several picture updates of Bo playing with Ghost and he seemed to have a fun time. Would definitely recommend Jeff and plan to ask him to watch Bo sometime again!”

About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
“Angela and her roommate Kelly did a great job of watching our dog Nellie. They both clearly love animals and go the extra mile to make sure you and your pet are comfortable. This was our dog's first pet sit and she did not understand at first that the "no potty inside" rules applied in other's homes as well but Angela was so patient and understanding.”

“Yujie is an incredibly responsible dog sitter. He made sure to take time to meet Monty beforehand, which helped us confirm they were a great fit and left us with a good feeling. During the visit, he took wonderful care of Monty and sent us pictures throughout the day! Monty clearly loved being with him and is eager to visit again soon.”

About: Grew up with a Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever but lately I’ve been helping out with my family’s Maltese and Yorkie. Looking to add some more friends to the mix I live in the Crestview neighborhood and appreciate the beautiful walkable community full of parks that make it very convenient for pet owners. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I’m usually available on weekends. Tuesdays through Thursdays I am in the office and I will be limited to after 5pm I’m attentive and understanding that all pets need unique care. There’s no one size fits all solution for everyone so I’m flexible and willing to go the extra mile to care for your pet!
“First time using Rover. We feel very fortunate to have found Sinthiana. She took time to listen and understand both of our dogs different personalities and behaviors. She’s very knowledgeable and organized and her home is set up for pet care and with a nice sized backyard.”

About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.

About: I have been petsitting for puppies and kittens for as long as I can remember. I particularly love senior animals and have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I'm currently a full-time virtual student, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. In addition to the joy I find working with animals, I am also trying to save up money for a study abroad I am attending in Spain this fall. My family's dogs are relatively low-maintenance and enjoy long walks in the neighborhood (as long as it's not too hot) and a big bowl of ice water to cool down. As for the cats, I enjoy spending time with them on the couch while I knit and playing with them via laser pointer.
“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

“Was very patient with me and my dog. I always get nervous leaving him with someone new but she was amazing and my puppy loved her I would definitely recommend her for anyone”

“Francis is wonderful! He was agreeable to a meet-and-greet prior to starting services, took a genuine interest in finding out Beckett’s specific needs, and has always been punctual. I’ve been very impressed by his communication, ability to manage Beckett (who has a tendency to pull), and his patience and willingness to work on improving Beckett’s walking. Beckett can take a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to Francis quickly and has been loving the walks! I’d highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, experienced dog walker!”

“Somporn took great care of our pup who was very happy to hang out with Luna and the fish! I really appreciated their willingness to take care of our girl on short notice and help her feel comfortable in a new space. We received plenty of pictures and communication - we felt very at ease and appreciate Somporn a bunch!”

“Cassandra and Jason were great! Our pup has a checkered past and can be very anxious. However, she was able to settle quickly in their home! They kept us updated each and every day. Our pup had a great stay with them!”

“My pup enjoyed his stay with Erika! She kept me updated regularly with pics and videos. It was great that she had other dogs so there was lots of social interaction and playtime”

“I HIGHLY recommend Natalie for caring for your fur babies! she did an *outstanding* job taking care of our Samoyed, Boris, over the Thanksgiving holiday! From the moment I dropped Boris off, I could tell he was in great hands. Natalie was punctual, professional, and had such a positive, warm energy that made me feel completely at ease. It was obvious she absolutely loves dogs and was genuinely excited to spend time with Boris. She kept us updated every day with the sweetest pictures and videos, and it was clear Boris was having a blast and being showered with love. Boris doesn’t like walks very much but loves the dog park, so Natalie made sure to bring him to the park daily to meet new friends! On top of that, she surprised us with a thoughtful gift—a cute set of treats and an adorable printout photo of Boris. It really showed how much she cares about the animals she watches! Even though she’s a bit far from us, we will absolutely book with Natalie again every chance we get! She’s kind, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Natalie is the perfect choice!”

“We boarded our 1 year old pup with Danielle for a night. It was Alfie's first time staying over at Danielle's. Danielle was super nice to talk to and we scheduled a meet up. Any doubts I might have had were gone as soon as we met up. She and her husband are true dog lovers and her pups are super friendly and adorable. Alfie seemed at ease right away. She even have him a snack for the road. ❤️ The boarding was also hassle free. She was communicative, and Alfie (who takes a while to come around with new people) took to her quite quickly. He came back happy and healthy, and with a bedtime treat! It really seemed that Danielle cares for the puppers, and it's more than just a job for her. We definitely recommend them, and would be using her services again. 🙂”
