For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. About: Not only do I have my own dog, I volunteered at the Austin Animal Center and currently pet sit for friends. I have experience with large, reactive dogs and calm cats. My own dog is nearly 15 years old. I trained him and currently deal with all of his senior medical issues, like arthritis, glaucoma and taking plenty of meds. I know how important our fur babies are. I will care for yours like I would for my own. If your pet stays at my home, I will take my dog to my mothers so that your dog can have privacy. He loves her house so it's a win - win for everyone. I work from home during the week so I'm most free in the evenings and weekends. My family is local so I'm almost always around at the holidays, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I live in a large 2 bedroom condo with a patio. There are stairs but my senior dog has never had an issue with them. I'm home a lot so I like to cuddle, play and walk. Dogs are allowed on furniture and anywhere else. I also have (fake) hardwood floors so cleanup is easy is a dog has an accident (as my senior dog has many times).

About: I’ve spent my whole life around all kinds of animals and can’t imagine my life without them! I’ve also spent a lot of time volunteering in kennels and shelters so I have lots of experience with both dogs and cats.
