“Joel was great! He took such good care of Joey. It was my first time leaving him in the care of someone else as I was traveling overseas and his consistent updates and photos kept me at ease and I saw that my cat was really happy and thriving and having such a great time. I would certainly book him again and I highly recommend him. He’s so caring, attentive, detail oriented, and I would love to board Joey with him again!”

Felt super comfortable having Kai stay at their house for the weekend with all the great pupdates. Would definitely book with Eddie again in the future”

“Cassandra was a wonderful sitter for our elderly Bichon, Buffy! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures, and I know that Buffy was well taken care of. Buffy needed a little extra attention due to some heightened anxiety, and we also needed some extra time because our flight was delayed, and she was so accommodating in both situations. We will definitely keep her in mind for future dog sitting needs.”

“Lara- THANK YOU! She took the best care of my kitty while I was out of town. She was timely, attentive and detail oriented. My cat also LOVED her!! She sent pictures every time and took care of him… i know my kitty misses her! Lara even took the time to come back and return the key a few days later since I was uncomfortable with it being left under a mat for a few days. Lara, you made my first rover experience easy, friendly and perfect! My cat and i are excited to work with you again.”

“Kody took good care of my cats over a few days. He’s communicative and followed all instructions I gave him. He was even able to get my cat to eat her pill pocket. I appreciate how he prioritized finding a safe time to check in on my cats, even when the weather was bad!”

“Eileen was such a source of comfort and care to my furrbabies! I especially appreciate that she took the extra time to make sure they had everything they needed and that their routines were properly carried out. This might’ve been the first time I’ve come back to cats that weren’t too clingy or upset that I had been gone! A win-win for everyone 🙌🏼”

Communication was easy and we really appreciated the printed photos. It was clear our cats were well looked after. We’d happily book Marisa again and recommend her to anyone.”

“Jenna went above and beyond in her service and care for my two kittens. It was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. On short notice, Jenna made time to come to my apartment and meet my girls, introduce herself and spend a little time before watching them for the week. She was communicative, understanding, professional and I felt so at ease knowing my two kitties were safe and happy under her care. She provided so many pictures and daily updates for me so I didn’t have to question how the cats were doing or what they were up to. Jenna even vacuumed up spilled litter and cleaned up a few potty accidents without being asked. If you’re thinking about hiring Jenna for any of your pet needs, I can attest to her amazing service.”

“Mariia was very responsive and thorough throughout the week where she was doing drop in visits for our two cats. She fed them, gave them water, and thoroughly cleaned both litter boxes. Even our super shy cat loved her and came out from hiding to be pet. She sent many cute videos.”

“Alice was the best! My dog was a new rescue and a little timid around strangers. She was so patient and kind and by day 3 Piper was excited when Alice got there to walk her. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

“Michelle is the best! She is so reliable and punctual and always communicates if there is a change. Kiwi and I are extremely grateful for her topnotch services!”

“We’d never used a pet sitter before and were a little anxious, but Clem made the experience so easy. Truly a cat whisperer. We were worried about one of our cats being a bully while we were gone but Clem won him over! Absolutely amazing. We said “this is super easy, all you have to do is feed them” but Clem went above and beyond for our babies making sure we got to see each one every day and that all their little robots were functioning properly. Thank you so much, Clem. 10/10 will use your services again”

“Nina was wonderful with my pets! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure everything went smoothly. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for animals. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Angela and her roommate Kelly did a great job of watching our dog Nellie. They both clearly love animals and go the extra mile to make sure you and your pet are comfortable. This was our dog's first pet sit and she did not understand at first that the "no potty inside" rules applied in other's homes as well but Angela was so patient and understanding.”

“Casandra took great care of Niko during my day trip out of Austin. When I picked up Niko, he was happy and tired! Casandra made sure Niko got along with her dog Cory by having a meet-and-greet beforehand. She also updated me with a lot of photos from the day. Would definitely drop Niko off with her and Cory again! Thanks, Casandra.”

“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

“Puffin was an awesome Rover sitter. I moved to a new area and had to go out of town 2 days later, she was able to schedule a meet and greet immediately. She sent updates many times throughout his stay and worked with some of his quirks. I will be using her again.”

“Linda was a very responsive and convenient dogsitter, and took care of my dog Stella for a half day. She also provided many text, photo, and video updates which is appreciated.”

“David was great for daycare with our dog! He responded promptly, took care to understand our dog's needs and was provided us with photos and updates throughout the day. He also provided us with a framed portrait of our dog at the end of the day, which was an awesome gesture. Would highly recommend David for doggy daycare or boarding!”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
About: I have about 10+ years of experience in care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. I have a lot of love to give, and I personally crate & potty trained my dogs. I’m currently a full-time student, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I spend most of my time studying from home, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 💕 I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby. I take dogs outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and playtime, always ensuring their safety and comfort during every outing.
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
About: We treat every pet like our own, giving young pets the play, patience, and structure they need, and offering seniors the extra comfort and gentle care they deserve. Whether your dog or cat is young, old, or in between, we're here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My husband and I have a 4 year old Shiba Inu of our own (Tobimaru). We both work from home, so daily activities are morning and evening walks, indoor play, and backyard adventures when Toby is wanting outside. If a pet needs our attention, we are quick to grant that. Our fenced in backyard is well shaded, so it's bearable for heat or sun-sensitive dogs in the tough summers of Austin for their outdoor needs. Pets can have the run of the house - we have dog beds in nearly every room. Plenty of space for play inside, and a spacious fenced in backyard if they have the zoomies. We have plenty of room for crates if that is the preferred method of overnight rest for your pet. Our neighborhood has a great amount of foot traffic and dog walking, so we always feel safe in that regard.
About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.

About: I have always been great with animals ever since I was a kid. My family always calls me the ‘animal whisperer’. I have been pet sitting for many family members and friends for multiple years. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, nervous dogs, energetic dogs, etc. I also have experience with cats, bunnies, and hamsters. I have gotten nothing but positive reviews from owners and I would love to take care of your furry friend! Because of my summer break I am available pretty much every day! Aside from a few vacations I am free both weekends and week days! Ensuring your pets safety and comfort is always my top priority. When I do drop in visits I will always make sure that there is nothing around the house that your pet could get into and get hurt.

“April was exceptional. It was a last minute booking and she was so beyond accommodating. We will be asking April back whenever she’s available! Love, Corbin and Little Bear”

“Kody walked our dog Mac for several months. He was reliable and very responsive through texting and was always on top of his schedule for when he could/couldn’t walk our dog. Kody is the exact type of person you want to have taking care of your furry loved one!”

“Francis is wonderful! He was agreeable to a meet-and-greet prior to starting services, took a genuine interest in finding out Beckett’s specific needs, and has always been punctual. I’ve been very impressed by his communication, ability to manage Beckett (who has a tendency to pull), and his patience and willingness to work on improving Beckett’s walking. Beckett can take a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to Francis quickly and has been loving the walks! I’d highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, experienced dog walker!”

About: I have been petsitting for puppies and kittens for as long as I can remember. I particularly love senior animals and have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I'm currently a full-time virtual student, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. In addition to the joy I find working with animals, I am also trying to save up money for a study abroad I am attending in Spain this fall. My family's dogs are relatively low-maintenance and enjoy long walks in the neighborhood (as long as it's not too hot) and a big bowl of ice water to cool down. As for the cats, I enjoy spending time with them on the couch while I knit and playing with them via laser pointer.
“Juan was excellent with our dog, Tina. Communication was great throughout the entire experience. He kept us updated and sent pictures, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear that Tina was well cared for and comfortable with him. We truly appreciated his reliability and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Juan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

Felt super comfortable having Kai stay at their house for the weekend with all the great pupdates. Would definitely book with Eddie again in the future”
