About: I grew up in a home that always had dogs and cats. As I got older, we began fostering dogs and venturing into owning more exotic animals such as hedgehogs, tortoises, mini pigs, pygmy goats, and saltwater fish. Growing up we had a dog that had seizures. Since being an adult and living on my own since 2014, I have owned a French bulldog, two toy yorkies, saltwater fish, a Persian cat (who had a seizure condition), and two standard poodles. I absolutely adore any and all animal and love learning about new species and breeds. I briefly worked for a vet's office as a vet tech in 2015 and a doggy daycare (Planet Canine) from 2012-01/2014. Since 2015 I have dog sat periodically for family and friends. I enjoy taking my poodles on long walks in our neighborhood. I have experience with administering medications for my previously ill and senior dogs such as ear drops, oral tablets and liquid, and eye drops. I am reliable, detail oriented, and a lover of all beings big and small. I am a self-proclaimed helicopter dog-mom. I start my day by caring for my dogs before I get ready for the day. Either me or my husband comes home in the middle of the day and lets them free roam and play for a little while. My 9-5 is flexible which means I can normally leave during the day at any point if and I am typically available after 5 pm most weekdays. I like to be home by 9 pm at the latest. Weekends I am normally available 9am-9pm. Fridays are normally the most flexible day for me. I have a privacy fence, and both of our gates are locked on the inside. I closely watch my dogs when they are outside. I have ample spaces to allow for crates, big and small. When I care for pets in someone else's home, I will stay outside with them while they potty and stay near them when they eat. I typically will not leave pets alone with toys unless the parents specifically ask this of me.

About: Grew up on a farm and had/have dogs my entire life. I also within the last 2 years have volunteered with working dog training facilities and horses at an equine therapy program. It has been great learning how to train and approach dogs, make them feel at ease along with challenging their brains. I have an extremely flexible work schedule which allows for lots of time with your furry family member(s). Fetch, walks, brushing, treats and feeding are all part of the daily activities. My dog was extremely nervous about being left in an unfamiliar place, with an unfamiliar human and dog. She was trembling, but Melissa made her feel right at home, which in turn helped my family and I relax. Melissa was consistently communicative through messages and pictures, which further calmed our nerves and let us know Brooklyn was ok. All of her needs were met in an excellent manner. Our home is equipped to watch over several dogs at a time and multiple dogs from each family. A typical day in our home looks like the following: first potty break by 7:00am to run around in our fenced in yard and enjoy the cool morning weather. We then rotate going in and out for food, playtime, training time, and rest time throughout the day. We typically spend most of our afternoons inside since Texas is hot and our doggies deserve to rest in our temperature controlled puppy house. I just recently got a new puppy and know what it’s like trying to get them outside and active with a busy schedule. I go running as often as I can and would love a running partner as well as a pup that just wants to hangout! Not only do I love dogs, but I have also had cats for most of my life as well and can’t get enough of them! I can take your fur baby for runs, walks, car rides, or whatever they or you would like me to do! My sister worked for Rover for 2 years and had the best experience! She recommended it to me, as she knows my love and care for animals! I will be sure your pets have lots of fun, stay safe, and be sure to keep you updated! My current schedule is very flexible! About: I have had many types of experience through-out my life caring for pets. Just to name a few, I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and a chinchilla. I have potty trained my pups, and simple commands/tricks. Currently my schedule is open so I am able to care for pets anytime weekdays and weekends. Animals with a more rigorous/timed schedule are welcomed as well. I have two friendly, loving doodles who are always trying to make friends. We regularly bring them to the beach, parks and long walks. They love making new friends and playing fetch. They have a large backyard to play in at times but they are usually in the house because they are spoiled and this Texas heat is savage. I can crate pets if needed, it just depends on your preference.
About: My mom has relied on me to feed, care, walk, and bathe our dogs growing up. My grandma has also relied on me to Watch overheard puppies as she left for vacation vacations. I have been doing this for 10+ years. I am currently working part time, I am available every weekday until 4 PM when I would go to work. While at work, I have three family members that can care for your pets while I am gone. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for them to play. I am more than happy to kennel, my friendly golden retriever and orange kitten whenever.
About: I have been professionally involved in pet care for over 15 years and keeping and studying animals for even longer! Animals are my passion and I love all species. My pets ARE my whole life. I make sure that their needs are met before my own every day and spend as much time as possible with them. About: I’ve taken care of my pets as well as family pets since I got my first cat back in 2010 when I was 7 years old. I have my own cat that I take care of. I feed her and take out her litterbox every day. She’s an indoor cat so she remains close to me at all times. I’ll follow whatever instructions that are provided. I’m used to dealing with my indoor cat. However our neighbors have outdoor cats that roam around and I hang out with them all the time.
About: I have always had dogs and had a several dogs growing up. I currently have two dogs that I love one of which has heartworms. So I have experience caring for dogs who need medicine and extra care. One of my dogs is also senior so I understand the requirements that come with caring for older dogs. This will be my first time working as a pet sitter but I have lots of experience around animals. I currently work full-time, but I am able normally completely free on the weekends. I also work near downtown Kingsport so I am able to leave on my lunch break to do dog walking. I do travel around the area a lot for my job and sometimes work late so I may not always be nearby or able to walk dogs very frequently through the weekday. I will be as attentive as possible when watching dogs in your home. I will also be respectful to your space and follow whatever rules I am given.
