Lalo is a rescue dog with very limited experience around other adults, so leaving him with someone new was a big step for us. Amanda was patient, understanding, and took great care to help him feel comfortable. One of our favorite parts of his stay was that he had the opportunity to enjoy supervised playtime with other dogs, which was such a positive social experience for him. Amanda also kept us updated throughout the weekend by sending pictures and progress updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. About: Love taking care of dogs. I like walking with dogs at the park and playing with them. Also do not mind dropping in to visit them. Also love playing with cats Current working in the afternoon so I have free time during the morning from 6:30 am-12 pm during Mon through Friday. Also sometimes on the weekend as well I am available times vary. I have a fenced yard and can play with your dog outside my yard as long as I can have your dog in a leash if needed. I live near a park and can easily walk your dog if needed here at home.I have a French bulldog as well that can play with your dog or I can leave her in her crate if your dog is not dog friendly.

About: I was raised in a rural area with 10 acres of land, and we have always had pets. I've always had a furry child; there has never been a moment in my life without one. I've had the pleasure of raising a variety of dogs throughout the years, as well as two cats. I now have a well-behaved, two-year-old black Lab named Jake. When he was just a tiny puppy, I started training him. He continues to pick up new skills despite having many masteries. I have given Jake all of his training and skills, and even though I have some training expertise, I am not a certified trainer. Jake and I spend a lot of time exercising because we enjoy being outside. Some days, we take a quick lap or two around the block, and others we go for a lengthier walk on the trails! I am a rule-follower, and your pet's health, happiness, and safety are always my top priorities. I am available for drop-in visits (bathroom breaks and feedings), walks, and baths (no grooming). If there is any way I can assist you with your furbabies, kindly let me know! I work three days a week at my full-time job and go to college full-time. I spend a lot of time at home and have time for walks, exercise, baths, and drop-in visits for potty breaks, feedings or check in on your fur babies. I am currently unable to accept any pets for boarding or home-sitting for more than a few hours due to my work and academic commitments. Your pets will be treated the same way I treat mine: as members of the family. At times, my Jake virtually owns the home! While I do let my baby sit on my furniture, I will always abide by your house's pet-related rules. Just make sure to let me know what they are so I can make sure we're acting properly. Currently, I am not available at this time for pet boarding. I do charge for pet baths and it's arranged by weight. Rover only lets me set one price for all and I don't charge one price for all dogs. ADDITIONAL PET CARE: I also have 22 years' pet sitting experience with other pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fresh water fish, turtles, geese and pigs. In my free time, I've rescued, rehabilitated, trained, fostered and been a pet owner to both dogs and cats in Texas, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Spain and the Kingdom of Bahrain. About: I love all kinds of dogs and their playfull nature!I normally walk for 30 minutes or more on a regular so if your dog needs a nice walk in definitely built for it! I have access to someone that has experience dog grooming so if your dog needs a good wash I can provide that as well. I'm pretty open to request so if you need something all you have to do is ask and we can work something out. If your dog likes attention I have kids that love dogs that will help wear out any high energy dogs and I don't mind going to some open fields and having the open run around till their hearts content. I would love to create some regular customers but if you only want to try me out I'm more then ok with that!
About: I've been around dogs my whole life. From large breeds such as Great Pyrenees, to small but mighty dogs like Chihuahua's and Jack Russells. I've helped in training our German Shepherd through his fear based reactivity, and raised a Labrador puppy all on my own. I specialize in using positive training, so I don't mind if your dog doesn't have the best leash manners. I may be small in stature, but I can handle large dogs too! I am not currently employed outside of Rover, so i am available almost 24/7. I love dogs and want to spend as much time with them as possible! About: While I too enjoy traveling I know how it can be when you can’t take your 4 legged family member(s) with you. I have 2 of my own Lionhead )fluff ball) bunnies of my own. I love fur babies of all breeds, shapes and sizes. While I don't have a dog or cat due to my hubbies allergies. I do love them all. Most of my friends or family have dog(s)/cat(s) and they all seem to love me and want my attention when I visit family and friends. When I 1st moved to Dallas my friend needed someone to let her dog out a couple times of day due to her long work hours. I was there to let Jackie out to potty and socialize. I became his Auntie Robin. Now every time I go to visit my friend he thinks I'm there for him and walk and play time. Of course I do this as he is so loveable I'm happy to go for a walk and play with my fur friend while visiting with my friend. I recently cared for my neighbors large and small dogs, 2 cats and a bird on a last minute need while they went away for the holiday weekend. I did home visit twice a day as requested. I would spend 30-45 minutes at the home as the owners requested. The dogs knew me & I was like family. They were happy to see me. I feed them, played with them, let them out to potty and gave appropriate treats for good behavior. My last day they dogs laid on top of me like I was their family. The dogs also listened to me when it was time to kennel them even though they didn't want to go in they did. I currently volunteer for the past 12 years with a domestic rabbit rescue. I go out to the rescue when I can to help, feed, care for special needs bunnies, clean up them yard/x-pens where the bunnies are housed. I give medication when needed. Including medication by means of oral, drops and shots. Including helping with the rescue I also foster bunnies in my home in addition to my 2 fur babies of lionhead bunnies. One of which can be seen in my pictures. Pet sitting/house sitting is my primary job. I enjoy spoiling my pets along with my clients pets. This makes my clients able to enjoy holiday or work trips without worry. As I make sure to treat the clients pet like my own and give lots of love and care like their human. Every pet not matter if my pet, friends, family or a client is an important part of my life when I’m with them. I make sure they know I’m there for them and I will love and care for them at all times.
About: I have worked consistently with a couple families and several drop in services for family friends! I have taken the wonderful doggos on walks, assisted with their medications, fed them, provided baths/brushed their fur, gave them extra pets/hugs. I can provide basic animal care, I always do my best to observe their body language as well to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I have also helped with a special needs doggo who was blind, gave him his medicine, guided him through his backyard to use the restroom, etc. I would also love to provide any cleaning such as cleaning their bowls, vacuuming up any hair, cleaning crates, etc. I work 24 hours on/ 48 hours off at a time so I have a bit more free time and would love to be a helping companion to your sweet animals! I always listen to the let parents and how their schedule typically is and go off of that, I really do love animals so I’ll spend more time playing with them, especially if the doggo wants that play time and extra love!
