“Lavar, Amber and family were fabulous for our dogs. We received photos and updated daily which were much appreciated. If/when we need a pet sitter again they will be the 1st people we contact. Thanks again, Lavar and Amber.”

“Lyndsey was an amazing host. Frequent contact for photo and video updates. Excellent communication and had a very safe environment for our pup. 5 stars would 100% book again.”

“We were so fortunate to find Pam and utilize her dog-sitting services (our first time to use Rover as well). It had been a while since we had boarded our two "girls", and we had a lengthy vacation in Europe planned. We connected with Pam through Rover and conducted a site visit. Great property and set-up for dog-sitting, and it was comforting to meet Pam, learn of her experience keeping pets, and were assured by her confidence and comfort level in keeping pets. While on our trip, Pam provided timely updates and photos of the girls, and even alerted us to a potential health issue with one of them. We had a great experience using Pam and highly recommend her!”

“I couldn’t be more thankful for Isabell and her lovely family! They were incredibly flexible and accommodating when I needed a dog sitter for my dog, Phoebe, on short notice. Their communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind. Phoebe had an amazing time at their place and came back happy and well-cared for. Highly recommend Isabell to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Melissa is the best! This is the second time she’s taken care of our senior Chihuahua. I feel very at ease knowing he’s with her. Highly recommend! Thank you Melissa.”
“We are so thankful we found Deborah. Our pup had the best time and came home so happy. Deborah sent regular pictures and updates and made us feel at ease that our girl was being taken care of :)”

“Best experience we could have had! He had so much fun and was loved on and walked plenty. He was so happy when I got there. Tori was so friendly. She sent me pics every day with an update and we will definitely be sending Oreo there again anytime we go anywhere!!”

“We’ve found our perfect home away from home for Kirby Jane! She didn’t even want to come with me bc she loves it so much there! We can’t say enough kind things about Matt and Candace! They are great!”

“Jessica is great with Rufus!! He’s stayed with her multiple times and we will be back. He always has a great time - we get updates regularly and I know he’s well taken care of.”

“We truly appreciate the care that they gave to our Lucy! She enjoys herself when she is in their care and they are very accommodating. This was especially appreciated because we were traveling to Florida for a funeral. We contacted them at the last minute and they were very empathetic and they treated her with care.”

“We were hesitant to use Rover for our mini-trip but Jamie was wonderful. We were able to schedule a meet and greet first. She had a few dogs over when we came to drop him off and Cash got to meet all of them and had a blast with them. He was pooped by the time he came home. She sent us a few updates and we loved getting them while on our trip to keep our mind at ease. We will definitely be using Jamie again. Thanks again!”

“Serenity was wonderful! Our sweet Molly girl seemed very well cared for during her stay and came home a happy dog. We will absolutely be booking with Serenity again.”

“My Great Dane, Chance, had the best time at Brent & Kaitlin’s when I went out of town for a few days! He’s an older guy & was a little shy at first but he was so happy & acting like a puppy with all of his new friends when I got there to pick him up - I swear he was grinning! 😁 He also loved their little 2 yr old daughter & followed her around 😂. Kaitlin & Brent are wonderful people and have the sweetest most well behaved kids too. I had such a good experience, I will likely take Chance over there again for daycare occasionally just so he can play with his friends. 10/10 recommend! ♥️”

“Our dog Bailey loves staying here and playing with her buddy Barkley! Bailey is pretty shy and doesn't do well in many places, but she loves it here. In fact, I think she'd want to move in here instead of coming home with us! HAHA! Crystal takes great care of my fur baby and sends lots of pics :-).”
“Season was wonderful! Excellent communication, very flexible, and a loving environment for our babies. We are very happy we found her and look forward to booking with her again very soon!”

“First time doing rover and was not disappointed. Michelle was very informative, helpful and loving with our 3 month old baby. We would definitely use her again and would recommend her to all our friends with fur babies ?”
“You can’t trust many people to take care of your dogs while you’re getting married and being away for 12 days. Not only did Kylie not cause any extra stress but she also took great care of both of our high energy dogs. Will use her again when we need someone to watch our pups.”

“Alishia is a great neighbor and dog sitter! I highly recommend. She was communicative the whole trip and made sure my dog was fed, had time to potty, and even some cuddles. I felt my dog and home was safe with her visiting when I needed her. Even when my dog fell sick, she went the extra mile to keep me posted and checking on her. I’m glad she is local to Chapel Hill and will be using her services again.”
“Katie did a great job with caring for my 2 male cats for a week. One of my cats had been recently diagnosed with a medical issue. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Katie was staying at my house & frequently checking up on him.”

“Jill has been such a wonderful help for our sweet girl when we are out of town! She gives lots of good insight and details of her visit and goes the extra mile when it comes to spending good quality time with our beloved cat. So grateful for this sitter!”

“As always Haley took great care of our cat and fish while we were away. Highly recommend Haley! Will definitely continue to use her pet sitting services in the future”

“Cassy was WONDERFUL! She was diligent about our specific ways we take care of our cats and spent a lot of time with them which was really nice (our cats are very social and hate when we’re away). We usually are stressed every time we go out of town, worrying about our cats with whoever is watching them, but with Cassy we didn’t stress at all! She was trustworthy, respectful and a total professional! Plus our girls loved her! We cannot recommend Cassy enough! She is definitely the person we’ll be calling every time we have to go out of town!”

“Leah jumped right in to cat sit when we couldn't find a sitter at a busy time around the holidays. She was always on time and communicated with us often with pictures. Leah did an outstanding job and hope she can cat-sit again for us!”

“Emma was wonderful from the first day we communicated!! Very responsive and my dogs could not have loved her more! They were very well cared for while we were away and we’re grateful to have found her!”

“Madison exceeded all expectations! Our regular pet sitter had an unexpected emergency right before we left on a two week trip, the longest we’ve ever been away from our two fur babies. Needless to say we were devastated and left scrambling to find a reliable and trustworthy substitution. Madison did a meet and greet beforehand to explain her qualifications, answered any questions we had, and made sure to thoroughly understand the expectations of what we needed done to ensure peace of mind for us. She provided extensive details for us everyday and sent cute pictures of our animals so we could get a glimpse of how they were faring while we were away. She really takes the time to get to know the animals and it is reflected in her outstanding work ethic how much she truly cares. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing a sitter. Thank you Madison for providing excellent care for our babies, you made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing there was once less thing to worry about back home!”

“Jamal is a neighbor, right across the street. He's a great guy, and did well letting my dog, Shuri, out into the yard on a tether. But, he somehow got the alarm triggered by not following my instructions, and the alarm company called me while I was in a conference doing videography in front of about 60 people. All in all, he did what I needed for the dog visit.”

“Hannah was great. She kept me posted. The house was clean and she did all that I asked. My cat warmed up to her and I was greatful someone was caring for her while I was away. Peace of mind is so important.”

“Mary Beth, wonderful host for Bentley he was immediately at home. She and her lovely family took great care of him. He was only there for maybe close to 4 hours, but it was a worry free time for me. I highly recommend her services.”

“Katie is amazing! She made my pups feel so loved, they came home happy and tired from having such a blast! They wanted to stay longer to keep playing! She treats them like family and it made me feel at ease knowing that she takes care of them the way I do.”
“Stephanie is fabulous. This was our 1st Rover experience. She made it a joy! She greeted us warmly and professionally as we drove into her driveway. She brought us into her home showing us where our Great Pyrenees would be, asked if she was allowed to have treats, about feeding her, as well as special needs. Recognizing she is a senior dog, she gave Stella an opportunity to explore before she slowly introduced her to the others she was caring for. We could enjoy our site seeing day out with complete confidence stella would be great. We received videos and pics off and on all day. Thank u Stephanie for making our visit so very special!”

I'd definitely recommend Jackie and plan to book again in the future.”

“Jennifer and Michael are fabulous and very accommodating with my schedule. They treat Mack like one of their own and part of the family. I would highly recommend them!”

“I travelled from Colorado to Tennessee with my dog, Zephyr. Carrie took care of Zephyr while I attended Adult Drum Camp. At first, I was very nervous about leaving “my girl” with a “stranger.” Carrie was absolutely WONDERFUL, understanding and kind. She sent a bunch of photos the first couple days until I was feeling better. Zephyr adored her. Wagging her nubbins of a tail when I dropped her off each day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

I am not scared of being around high energy breeds but I also enjoy time with dogs who love to cuddle and enjoy their day more contently. My entire life I’ve been around animals and have had the pleasure of dogsitting for seven years. I’ve babysat dogs in my neighborhood and outside of it. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember — growing up, my family had dogs, turtles, birds, rabbits, and lizards, so I'm just as comfortable with cats and small pets as I am with dogs. I also attended a high school built around animal care, giving me formal training on top of a lifetime of hands-on experience. On top of that, I'm a college graduate, which taught me the same things animal care requires: personal responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I treat every pet like it's my own: same routine, same patience, same attention to detail every single visit. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have a flexible schedule with steady availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and extended stays. I always confirm exact timing with you directly so visits fit your pet's normal routine. Since all my visits happen at your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, securing doors and alarms exactly as instructed, keeping to the routine you've laid out, and never deviating from your pet's normal environment.

About: What sets me apart is my experience, but mostly patience and care. I was a teacher so my energy always stays calm so theirs does as well. I am a creative writer so let me take your pets on their next adventure while you are on yours. Whether it is riding a dragon through the subdivision, swimming with the dolphins in the pool, or playing poker with the neighborhood pets, I promise to provide a fun and creative experience for your pets. I’m currently working part time so I have time to play and love on your animals. We might even play poker if the mood hits. Whether it’s a Mansion or a condo, boathouse or RV…I will provide a great housesitting experience for your pets while you’re away. I treat them with the same love and care I provide my own pets.
About: Growing up on a farm, I was taught to care for animals at a young age. From feeding, bathing, exercising, basic wound care, grooming, etc. I have experience with many types of animals including: dogs, cats, horses, snakes, birds, fish, hamsters, etc. I also work well with “hard to tame” pets. Animals with anxiety, trauma responses, or just bad attitudes are my forte. I have trained multiple dogs alongside support care animals. Let’s see what your furry friend can do! I make my own schedule. I own my own businesses that need little oversight. Let me know when I’m needed and I’ll do my best to make it work! I have a large yard, not yet fenced. Plenty of trees if you have you pup tie-out trained. I also have multiple sized crates, an outdoor pen, and a small fenced in run about area adjacent.
About: I've had a familiarity with animals since a child. I enjoy speaking( even though they dont speak back) and giving attention to pets to build a loving, trusting, bond I Am not very busy in general so am able to take care of companions at almost any time of the day or night as needed. I do not offer services pertaining to bringing the pet to my home, however, on our first meet, I will learn and cater to the best interest you have for your pet's care in your absence

“We’ve found our perfect home away from home for Kirby Jane! She didn’t even want to come with me bc she loves it so much there! We can’t say enough kind things about Matt and Candace! They are great!”

“First time doing rover and was not disappointed. Michelle was very informative, helpful and loving with our 3 month old baby. We would definitely use her again and would recommend her to all our friends with fur babies ?”
“I had to get a Rover for the weekend last minute. Amanda accommodated me and gave my boys somewhere to be loved on and cared for, and for that, I am forever thankful!”

“Adrienne was fabulous. She watched my little papillon Belle for a week and I couldn’t be more satisfied. She sent updates and pictures. She was very kind and I will definitely use her again. Highly recommend”

“Max stayed for over 2wks with Jennifer and Michael. They sent me pictures regularly and Max came back with as much energy as he was dropped off with…so I know he was played with plenty. It was great getting pictures of him with all the other dogs. He’s normally the only dog at home, so I know he loved playing with the other dogs while he was there. It was great to see him pulled in as part of their family while we were gone.”

“Kaitlyn was wonderful about communicating and sending updates about my dog. I feel confident she was well loved and was taken to the dog park to get her energy out. It was a relief to my husband and I knowing she was having fun and she was safe while we were on vacation.”

“Tifaney was great to work with. She took great care of our little senior yorkie for a week, and sent me pictures of her every day, and also provided numerous updates on how she was doing.”
“Absolutely astoundingly wonderful. She is knowledgeable, caring, and even with our diabetic sr. And highly active 15 mo old pup and we can’t say enough about her care of our beloved labs. Words are not enough. She’s our woman long into the future. Thank you, Alexa!”
