About: Not only do I love dogs, but I adore and love cats just the same! Whether you have a sweet and cuddly cat, a not so smart orange cat, or a spicy mean cat, I can handle it. Back home, I have an orange cat who loves to hit people as they walk by his cat tree, sprint out any open door he sees, and open pantry doors just to get stuck in them, so I feel well prepared for unexpected behaviors cats may have. I know a lot of cats will run and hide when they see a new person in their home, and I get it, I would too. I won’t force them to love me or come out to say hi, I’ll simply let them choose what to do. I hope you can consider choosing me when looking for someone to care for your fur baby!

“Thank you, Megan for going above and beyond in taking care of our old man dog! Megan has awesome energy and is a hidden gem on this ap in my opinion. Our dog is 13 and a big boy (about 90-something pounds) who's slowed down from his days of chasing squirrels but he still can't help himself. We were nervous about leaving him after not traveling for a while and wanted someone who we could feel confident would not overwork him, overestimate his stamina, and recognize any health challenges he might present while we were away (just in case!). We loved that Megan has an abundance of experience working in a pet hospital and had herself raised several animals. Her experience taking care of older dogs was especially comforting. While we were traveling she took the initiative and brushed our boy every day (he's blowing his coat...which happens A LOT sigh) and when we came home he looked rested and happy. We loved her detailed notes every day and photos of him. She shared her concerns about his energy level too which is typical for him when we go out of town (he gets a bit depressed) so we were able to collaborate on what steps to take - mostly a wait-and-see. It gave us so much peace of mind to know he was in excellent hands with her. And we definitely will be reaching out again when we travel over the holidays! Thanks, again Megan!”
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Starting from a young age I would walk the neighbors dog and house sit. I’ve worked with training puppies and adolescent dogs. Puppies to seniors, I love them all!!! . Hanging out, walking or watching your fur baby will fall easily into our everyday life. My boys and I go to the dog park twice a day for energy release! My apartment is puppy proofed! Walks always on a leash, in case a yard is not available. Couch and bed sleeping is fine with me if it helps make everyone comfortable. About: Since I was in elementary school, my family has had Great Danes. I believe that big dogs in particular are a testament to how much we are capable of loving our pets. Like most pets, they will fill something in your life that you didn’t know was missing, but they will also cost you blood, sweat and tears- and sometimes this is multiplied according to their size. Giant breeds have much shorter life spans, as some of us know, and this seems to only heighten the pet parent experience. Unfortunately, in 2021, our family had one of our Danes fall ill and pass away while being boarded at a local facility. She was only two years old and we were completely devastated. Since then, I’ve come to realize how incredibly important it is to leave your pets under the care of someone who will be entirely present with them, tend to all of their needs, and communicate as much as possible. I can ensure that I will be that person if you choose me to be your sitter. I have been pet-sitting on and off since 2019 but dedicated three years entirely to the profession after 2022. During those three years I gained experience with dog breeds ranging from every size and age- and even a few cats and kittens. About: I love all living beings - even bugs and reptiles I’m a bit afraid of. I will risk life and limb to ensure their safety and give them the love they so freely give us. I will do what I can to make accommodations to help care for your babies. They are family and deserve nothing but the best. They deserve to be loved unconditionally like they love us. I can accommodate at client’s homes as I have several special needs cats in my own home and I do not want to disrupt their routines or make them uncomfortable and also I do not want to make your baby uncomfortable.
About: I had an energetic yellow lab for 11 years. She taught me how to be a good dog mom. Now I take care of 6 dogs and 1 cat on my property in Jasper. They are all rescues and really keep me on my paws with their feeding, playing, walking, vet visits and bath times. I currently work part time from home and am able to be flexible and available. I like to time out from my desk work to get outside and walk. Having a furry companion is always flexible. I have reliable transportation and can travel within 15 miles of my home to check in on doggies or kittehs! I have a large fenced in yard with several rescues living outside. I keep two small, older dogs inside and do not currently have the space for anymore inside doggies.

About: I’ve watched all kinds of pets for eight years! I’ve owned my own dog since I was 16, and she and I have been on our own for five years, healthy and happy. I’ve watched my friends’, family’s, and neighbor’s animals with great attention. I’ve taken care of service dogs, sick pets, disabled pets, and pets who need a lot of attention in addition to the more low-maintenance furry friends. My passion is to help all animals live their happiest and healthiest lives while their best friend’s are away. About: I currently have a bloodhound and 4 cats, as well as a foster dog. My had my last dog for 15 years, so I am very experienced in senior dog care. Old doggos have a special place in my heart. I am self employed so I have a fairly flexible schedule so I can usually work around anything that might be needed or come up. I have a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door so dogs have constant access to the back yard. I also walk dogs 1-2 times a day.
