About: People always ask me to dog sit their fur babies because they know how much I love animals! I’ve had pets since I was a little girl. I currently have an 8 month old Shih Tzu and a Maine Coon cat. Both are great with other animals. I am available any time, day or night. I am a real estate agent, so I set my own hours, which is very convenient. I mostly work from home, unless I’m out showing houses or attending closings. I am married and have two little girls that are ages 7 and 11 years old. My daughters are also animal lovers, and love helping me take care of other people’s pets. We have a large front yard and a long driveway, so there is plenty of room to run, and we are not too close to the main road. Their are lots of trees and neighbors are pretty spread out.

I’m able to do drop ins and walks after 6pm for anyone who is uncomfortable or who’s furry friends don’t like kids! My little is only 2 months old, so he stays in a baby wrap on me for drop ins and walks before 6pm and I either wear him or put him in the stroller for walks. But that depends on the dog and their comfortability. After 6pm dad is home and can watch little so I can be baby free! Dogs are still a very important part of my life. All pets in my care will be cared for exactly how the paw-rents see fit! Being an equestrian I’m used to caring for multiple animals and them all having different needs and demands! I will play with your pet so they get plenty of mental and physical stimulation while you’re away to make it easier on them! Reactive dogs are welcome as long as we can be safely introduced and proper tools to keep everyone safe are available! My deaf dog is reactive, so I understand how hard it can be to trust them with another person.

I can guarantee that your pup will feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I do require that your pup be friendly with other dogs as mine is extremely friendly and loves to play. While I do not have the backyard many others have, it doesn’t mean the dogs I sit don’t get exercise. I believe proper exercise and enrichment is done outside of the home. So I would load up my dog Maple and yours in the car and drive to a fun park for a long walk or a hiking trail. Unless specifically stated, your dog wouldn’t be in a crate and is allowed to sleep with us at night if they want to. I like to keep things as close to their usual as I can. Since I just graduated from UTC, I’m figuring life out, so my availability is pretty good! I’m usually free all mornings and afternoons. Please feel free to text me for a more in depth response of my availability! It never hurts to ask! Your dog and I may play all day, lounge on the couch, play fetch, go on walks, or keep up with training. I love all dog personalities and will adapt to each one. Whatever the dog is down for, I’m down for.

About: All my life, I have been around dogs. I currently have a sweet boy, Winston, who is a Pit Mix. I’ve had several different dogs over the years and have assisted family and friends with pet care. I also have previous work experience with a pet boarding and grooming facility in Baton Rouge. From having experience in a professional setting and having experience caring for pets at home, I find the at home care to be much more comfortable for the pet- which is why I decided to register here! I love making the pets and their owners feel as comfortable as possible. A personal touch- I like to take funny/cute pictures of what we do and send them to you once I’ve completed the service! I currently have two dogs that I watch for my mother. When I am in town, this looks like walks every afternoon and evening, frequent play time, and feedings. I love to make sure they are happy- whether that’s running around outside, long play time, some chill TLC, or even a few extra treats ;)
