About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. About: Until 6 years ago I've ALWAYS had a kitty of my own since I was 13. Usually just one sometimes 2 or 3 and the one time 2 adults and 5 babies. My absolute favorite is male tabbys especially the big body ones lol. Just something about those chunky orange kitties I can't resist.

About: I am going to school to school currently to become a veterinarian and I hopefully will get a job as a vet tech very soon! I do work full time unless my schedule changes so if it changes and I can always update anyone on that and go earlier if possible. During the week I am available to walk/check in between 7am to 8am before work typically unless my schedule changes and after work would be after 5:30pm unless my schedule changes and I get off earlier and weekends I am completely flexible! I can play with the dogs in your home or your backyard if you have one. Feed and water them if they’re on a schedule. Ensure gates/doors are locked/closed to ensure safety.

I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs are very friendly and playful and love new friends! We have multiple crates if that is something necessary for your pet. My whole family has huge hearts when it comes to animals so your pet will be well taken care of!
About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals. “I cannot say enough good things about Samuel and Erica! This was my first time boarding my dog, and I was incredibly nervous—but they made the entire experience amazing from start to finish. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time.
