About: To comfort any animal brings comfort to myself. I have experience with all kinds of pets and love all animals but cats are what you’d find in my home. It’s a common misconception that cats don’t require much attention but as a domesticated animal they thrive on human companionship while also having many natural instincts to accommodate. Some require more attention than others depending on their personality. One of the most important instincts to satisfy is the need to hunt/play. There are some automatic or interactive toys that work well but for the most part the best toy is something on the end of a string attached to a wand/rod and their human’s participation. This way you can mimic the evasive movements of an actual prey for your cat to hunt. This provides exercise and stimulation and I would be happy to play with your cat(s) I’m very good at befriending anxious or less trusting cats and identifying the things that exacerbate their anxiety and finding solutions to comfort them. I also have experience administering medications. With a cat the easiest route of administration is a liquid solution mixed in with some wet food or treat or squirted into the back side of the mouth with an oral syringe. Giving a cat a pill can be more difficult but it can be done. I would wrap them in a towel or blanket, lubricate pill so it doesn’t stick to fingers or tongue, tilt head back and insert pill into back of the mouth, return head to level position and rub their throat and/or slightly blow on the nose to stimulate swallowing reflexes, then give them a treat and love them! When possible I scoop our 3 cats’ boxes after every use. I’m happy to clean and scoop your cat’s box(es) with the same vigilance. A clean litter box is one factor in ensuring a healthy and happy cat!

About: I have loved dogs and cats since childhood. I have experience living with horses, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and alpacas. I travel in an RV and can camp in your drive way for round the clock attention for the price of two daily visits. i am a traveling artist, doing 6 shows a year. I have an RV and can plan my schedule easily. My experience with animals as a farmer means I can handle just about anything, recognize a problem and work with veterinary experts. I can administer insulin and medications if necessary. Your pets can remain in the comfort of your home. With my Camp-in-the-Driveway service, they receive will lots of round the clock attention. “Rachel is a great sitter. I left my pup with her on two occasions - once for a weekend and another for an 8 day trip. She did an amazing job with her and I could tell my dog had a great time. She sends daily updates and photos which is greatly appreciated. More importantly Rachel is super understanding and was able to be flexible with me when my return flight was delayed and cancelled. About: I have owned pets my entire life. They are like kids to me. They are treated with respect and care equivalently so. I like pets more than humans. 😆 I own my own business and I work from home. I set my own schedule. I am very flexible. This allows me to give your pet lots of attention. I have a fenced in yard. I have a Pet door into the yard so they can come and go freely, when they have the “need”.

“We have used Justin for day care for about a year now. Bear always comes back happy and tired. When Justin comes to pick him up the next time Bear gets the biggest case of the wiggles and can’t wait for another visit. We recently hired Justin for training - commands, recall, being off leash, etc. Within 2 weeks we noticed how much easier it was to take Bear on walks. By about 4 weeks he was responding to his name more consistently instead of choosing not to hear us 😂 We are finishing up training now and couldn’t be happier with the progress our boy has made with Justin’s guidance.
