“Stephanie was the perfect Rover for our senior dog. She has a very calming environment and is very flexible on accomidations for your pet. We were very pleased with her care and so was our dog Nickoli. He was happy and healthy when we picket him up and Stephanie will give you any updates you feel comfortable with during your pets stay including pictures. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and can highly recommend her.”

“I honestly couldn’t be happier. Kayla was always quick with replying, sent at least one photo every day(sometimes a video) of my trip, without prompting first. My dog had the best time at her place. 5 stars for sure. Will return whenever I go out of town.”

“Billie Jo is very sweet & accommodating! Charlie Boy loved being with her & settled right in instead of being anxious. She has a large fenced-in yard that's easy for senior dogs or those with health challenges. Would recommend without hesitation for your fur baby!”
“SaVannah was absolutely amazing with our puppies! She kept them for a long weekend and loved on them like they were her own! She sent updates and pictures throughout the stay. I will definitely book her again.”

“Lanelle did an amazing job watching our small dog. She is so sweet and loving to all the pets she keeps, and went out of her way to make sure our dog was comfortable during her 9-day stay. She sent detailed updates, photos, and videos everyday and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely recommend her to all pet owners.”

“Heather and her family were wonderful! Our two pitties can be a handful and Heather met all their challenges with understanding and great ideas to keep them safe and happy while we traveled. We would highly recommend Heather!!!”

“Highly recommend Victoria and Charles. They sent us pictures of Rex showing he was very calm and relaxed and enjoying his time at their house. We loved being able to visit before we chose them to watch our little guy to see how well they all got along. Perfect! House and fenced backyard add to the safe, warm experience.”

“Jenn & Derek are good sitters and great people. They were able to watch my 2 cats when a family emergency came up within 2 days notice. My cats had their own room and were well cared for.Communication was great .They provided daily updates and tons of photos.I can not thank them enough for their kindness and great service.I would highly recommend them!”

“Paul & Julie were amazing, such great people! They gave many photo and text updates throughout my pups’ stay and i could tell how well they took care of them just based off how relaxed they were when i came to pick them up! They looked right at home. I can’t recommend Paul and Julie enough!”

“Trina was amazing with Kane! He got a nose bleed, while I was on vacation, and he was in her care. She immediately notified me that night and promptly took him 40 minutes away to his vet; which actually saved his life! The vet said he probably wouldn't have made it until his appointment that next Monday! Honestly,I thought it was probably like a human and no big deal. I was wrong. He was recovering from a few things(which she and the vet knew all about the situation) I'm glad I did talk to the vet prior since she had to take him in. I would trust Trina with any of my fur babies! She was amazing and honestly did save my dogs life. She had to make that 40-60 minute drive twice for us! She was a great choice and a God send. I almost left him with my 19 year old who didn't go. I'm SOOOO glad I didn't! Thank you Trina! You will Alessia be my dog sitter!”

“If I could give extra stars I would. Our puppy had just had surgery and has been through a lot of stress the last few months. Gloria is the only person I would leave him with since I know he will be loved like her own dog.”

But more than that- I know how important it is that you have a reliable, caring sitter for your fur babies & home while you're away. I previously cared for my own 90-lb dog who had allergies, chronic ear infections, high anxiety, and later bone cancer, so I’m very familiar with special-needs care, medications, and helping pets feel safe and comforted through anything. I’m patient with anxious or sensitive pets, and I understand how much they miss their humans when you’re away. <3 I’m happy to take active pups on long runs, go for slow sniff walks, or just offer cuddles and company. I’m also comfortable handling dogs that pull or never quite figured out leash manners. I’m not a trainer, but I can keep them safe and in hand. :) Just tell me what your pet needs, and I’ll follow their routine to keep them comfortable, happy, and cared for. Your pet gets my full attention, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I do this full time, so I’m able to provide frequent walks, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure to communicate expectations clearly so each pet gets consistent attention and care. I never overbook myself, so your pet always gets plenty of one-on-one time. Safety and comfort come first. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their exact routines and respect their space. I double-check that doors and gates are secure, can clean up after pets as needed, and make sure each pet feels safe while you’re away. I'll send plenty of updates and photos so you always know how things are going. And if you need a plant watered, a fish or small animal cared for, or some quick household chores taken care of, please just let me know! We can discuss pricing based on what you need. :)
About: Hi! My name is Candice, and I have over 25 years of hands-on animal care experience, along with volunteer experience with an animal rescue organization. Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion, not just a job. I have extensive experience caring for: • Dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments • Horses, cows, pigs, and chickens • Rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils • Birds • Reptiles, including chameleons • Freshwater and saltwater fish My rescue background has given me strong skills working with shy, anxious, senior, and special-needs animals, as well as pets that need extra patience, structure, and reassurance. EmberTail Pet Care on Facebook and Instagram Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has been a consistent part of my life for over 25 years. I structure my schedule to allow dedicated time for walks, drop-ins, feeding routines, playtime, and check-ins so each pet receives attentive, unrushed care. Throughout the week, I prioritize reliability and flexibility to accommodate different pet schedules, whether that means morning walks, midday visits, evening care, or overnight stays. I also build in time for communication and updates so pet parents feel informed and confident while they’re away. Because animal care is something I genuinely enjoy, it’s not something I “fit in” — it’s something I intentionally plan my day around. My care approach is always tailored to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level. Whether I’m caring for pets in a client’s home or providing drop-ins and walks, I focus on consistency, safety, and creating a calm environment. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, litter or habitat maintenance, exercise, and enrichment. I respect the home as if it were my own and aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure and stress-free. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away. During walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, awareness of surroundings, and positive interaction. Walks are customized to the pet’s energy level, and visits include playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, feeding if needed, and companionship. With over 25 years of experience and animal rescue volunteer work, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all temperaments, as well as small animals, reptiles, and farm animals when needed. My goal is always to provide reliable, compassionate care so pets feel comfortable and loved in their familiar environment.

“Tatum was great! If we need someone to watch Leroy again in this area, we will certainly take him to Tatum again. We recommend her highly: great communication, flexibile, and our fur baby was safe and happy there.”

“Karen made such a great home away from home for our 2 collies that they did not want to leave when we picked them up! It was the first time leaving them in years and we are so happy to have found Karen because we knew they were getting the best 1 on 1 care and attention! She sent us updates and pictures while we were away and they got to go on a lot of walks which made us so happy to hear! 1 of our collies has lots of health issues but this was not a problem for Karen while we were on vacation. Thank you again!!”

“Candice did amazing with our fur-babies! Delilah is usually very anxious around new people, and she was comfortable enough to lay on the couch and accept some scratches after just a few minutes with Candice. That has never happened before with anyone else. We will definitely be booking with her again :)”

“Stephanie is wonderful and went above and beyond with our cats! She vacuumed, swept the floor and even washed out the food bowls so that we got home to a clean house and happy kitties!”

“Elizabeth did a phenomenal job taking care of my babies while I was out of state. She went above and beyond what I asked of her, and I could not be happier with the care that my animals received! Based on the picture updates she sent, I think my animals fell in love with her too! Will definitely use her services again!”

“Morgan was great! She helped us out really last minute and over a Holiday weekend. Could not have been more thankful for that. Our cat Bug definitely enjoyed her company! We loved the regular check ins and photos. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Awesome!! Annabelle took great care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation. I am so thankful I found her. She kept me updated the entire time by sending me photos with little messages letting me know my cats were doing great. I was able to enjoy my vacation stress free like it should be. Thanks Annabelle!”

“I'm new to Rover and Karen represented the "Rover community" well. I'm looking forward to using Rover (and Karen) when I get another chance to take a vacation. Karen's notes and photos were great and gave me a great sense of relief that my cats were cared for while I was away. Easily 5 stars!”

“Catherine took great care of our two kitties, including one who required extra special attention and medication administration. We felt at ease during our overnight trip knowing they had someone checking in on them, and enjoyed seeing all of the pictures and videos Catherine sent during our time away. It was hard for us to leave our sick kitty, but everything went so smoothly!”

“Jan was able to watch Maddie for doggie daycare on short notice. She has a great set up for yard access and also being able to hang out in the cool of the A/C on a comfy couch. It made my day with my family so much better knowing she was being looked after and had Jan’s company while being in a different environment. I would definitely recommend her and I would leave Maddie in her care again if I needed to.”

“Victoria and Charles were fantastic. I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . Victoria and Charles are my first choice - looking forward to letting Otis trim their lawn again.”
“Heather is very attentive and we love that she sends pictures and videos of our dogs stay. We also love that she gives him homemade treats. Thanks for always caring for our boy like he’s yours!”

About: Hi! My name is Beth! I absolutely love animals! My husband and I have four dogs and four cats that we care for. They are our babies! So, I know how important getting the best care for your fur babies is! I can walk, feed, play or just check in for a potty break if need be. I had an older dog that had to take medicine every day for cancer, sadly he has passed on. So I am also able to give medicine if that's what your baby needs. I am also available to check on cats. I work as a school photographer, so if you need pictures of your babies while I am caring for them I will be more than happy to provide that! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I work a Monday through Friday job, usually until about 5pm. So I am available for drop-ins and walks, I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday, and then Monday through Friday in the evenings or really early mornings. I unfortunately cannot care for anymore in my home, especially since I have an over protective pit mix who is very jealous. However in the clients home, I am very respectful and a people pleaser. I will do exactly as directed to the very best of my ability.

“10/10 would recommend Lindsey. My family is going through a major medical emergency, and knowing Lindsey is taking care of my fur babies is a huge weight off my shoulders. I never have to worry, and get the cutest picture updates. For the longest time my husband and I were hesitant to get a pet sitter for our 5 animals, but Lindsey completely changed our opinion. From the first meet and greet our animals loved her. If you’re looking for someone living and reliable, hire Lindsey.”
About: Hi! I love all kinds of animals and I look forward to helping you when you need to trust someone to take care of your pets while you are away. I currently have 2 indoor/outdoor dogs, and 5 (yes, 5!) indoor cats. I do have a part time job I work at from 3 pm to 11 pm on Sundays and Mondays. I always ask for a meet and greet before booking any bookings, except for same day bookings, and this would be a time where you let me know if you have any cost constraints. I do have a job working two days out of the week, but I have an amazing friend who works with me for pet care needed when I am working for the 16 hours a week. Let us help you by taking a little work and worry off your shoulders! I have 10+ acres ready for some exploring! I also have some outdoor toys to entertain the playful babies. I have two playful pups that are always down for company. I can crate your pet if needed.
About: We’ve both been around dogs for most of our lives, so becoming your dog’s new best friends comes pretty naturally to us. We both grew up with dogs and have experience caring for everything from playful puppies to senior dogs. Over the years, we’ve watched dogs for coworkers, family, and friends and have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including multiple dogs at once. Whether your pup wants to play, relax, get plenty of attention, or just follow us around the house all day, we’re happy to make them feel right at home. Our goal is simple: give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay and make sure they get plenty of love while you’re away. Our schedules are pretty consistent, which makes it easy for us to build pet care into our daily routine. We make sure there is plenty of time for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. When we’re caring for a pet, we plan around their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and settled while they’re with us. Evenings and weekends give us plenty of extra time for longer walks, playtime, and hanging out at home. We enjoy having dogs around, so pet care fits naturally into our day rather than feeling like an extra chore. Safety and trust are our top priorities. In our home, we make sure pets have a clean, comfortable environment with plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and time to relax. We follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special needs or behaviors we should know about. We understand that every dog is different, so we take the time to learn what makes them comfortable and never force interactions. When caring for multiple dogs, we pay close attention to their personalities and supervise introductions and playtime.

About: Hi! I’m Melissa (with Melissa's Pet & Home Care), a lifelong pet lover with experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs.

“Lindsay took great care of Hercules while I was away. He had an upset tummy upon arriving and Lindsay was able to provide that extra care he needed. I recommend her services to anyone needing them in the area!”

“Yu very responsive to emails Daily pics, and/or videos Harley enjoyed his stay with Yu. There is a big fenced in backyard for Halrey, and Yu's 2 dogs to play in. My dog has been in the shelter several times, and I like that Harley was able to roam freely, and not spend a lot of time locked up in a kennel. Yu's home provides that, along with the benefit of only boarding one dog at a time. Yu was very responsive to any messages I sent, and sent daily messages, pics, and/or videos. When Harley needs a place to stay in the future, Yu will be my first choice.”
