About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.

About: Since we got our dog 4 years ago, I’ve been more involved in caring for pets (well; animals in general because we don’t eat them 🙂) I love to play with them, go out for walks, and in general enjoy outdoors, exploring nature. We grew up in Spain surrounded by our family and neighbors dogs so we are very pet friendly! I am sahm (stay at home mom) with my 1 year old baby. We spend so much time with our dachsund Curry and we will be happy to bring a friend for him to play with! We love going for walks and throwing the ball in our backyard! We spent so much time back there when the weather is nice! I have a 4 year old dachsund that only barks towards big dogs because he thinks they are too big! Other than that, he is good with other animals. Our house has a fence so they are free to roam wherever. During college, I was employed at PetSmart as a bather, so I am well trained in basic nail trims, sanitary trims, and expressing anal glands. Starting in 2021, I worked for a wildlife rehabilitation facility as well as a zoo. I have now worked as a vet tech at a clinic here in town for 2.5 years! Because of this professional training, I am able to administer medications that your pet may need as well as provide attention to important behaviors. I cannot do boarding in my home or overnight stays at your home because I have my own animals to care for at home. About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.
