Ginny is a beagle mix with a history of separation anxiety, dog and people reactivity, and it’s been difficult to find a good dog sitting fit. Even though Roy had some serious life circumstances, he still agreed to watch Ginny since we had booked so far in advance. Ginny and Roy became buddies while my partner and i got to live it up for a week at Bonnaroo, without a care in the world. “Krista has kept my boy Charlie (a black lab) twice this month. We are about to go on a long vacation, and she will be keeping him then too. The two previous visits were “get acquainted” stays. Charlie is so happy with Krista!! She treats him like her own - lets him sleep in her bed, takes him on a car ride to McDonald’s, etc. Charlie did not do well in an environment with new dogs. He was overly stimulated and not on his best behavior. But at Krista’s, he is perfect! If you need a sitter without other animals that will focus on just your fur baby and care for them like her own, Krista is a wonderful choice! About: My parents still love telling the story of when they told me I was going to have a baby brother. I looked them straight in the face and said, “I don’t want a human, I want a puppy!” Safe to say not long after, I got my very first dog, Bella, when I was four years old. Loved my job, and have cared for many animals since. Currently do not have a job, so I have a free schedule and nothing but love to give to the fur babies, including cats of course. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! For walks, I keep dogs on the leash at all times for safety so can use an extended leash if that works. I do have a 30 foot and 45 foot secured leash line that I can place a dog on so they can walk around the yard, which will monitored by me, not left alone. I have a nice 2 bedroom home and dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, feeding is kept separate for each dog, and I monitor feeding times, water bowl is in the living room, and I have plenty of poop bags. Also for safety, I have an AirTag that can be placed on the collar especially if your dog is a runner etc. Safety first for your fur baby. Plus I have plenty of outside space, a large yard to walk them around and across from my home with a leash plus a 30 foot or 45 line for the yard so can be free to roam, and I’ll be out there with them.

About: My family back east has been watching and walking dogs at a high volume for 5 years. And now I’m doing the same here in our neighborhood! We absolutely love our four legged friends and enjoy looking out for them. They are loved and taken care of just like they would be with you! I am work from home part time and when my husband is home from work he also often helps with our rover pups. We have a baby so any dog we take care of needs to be comfortable with little ones. Or we do have plenty of open green area right outside our apartment for them to walk, play, sniff or lay on leash. I always make sure gates are closed and leashes secured before a run around the yard or walk around the park. I enjoy taking dogs on walks around their neighborhoods, helping them get exercise, explore new scents, and feel comfortable in their surroundings. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

“Krista has kept my boy Charlie (a black lab) twice this month. We are about to go on a long vacation, and she will be keeping him then too. The two previous visits were “get acquainted” stays. Charlie is so happy with Krista!! She treats him like her own - lets him sleep in her bed, takes him on a car ride to McDonald’s, etc. Charlie did not do well in an environment with new dogs. He was overly stimulated and not on his best behavior. But at Krista’s, he is perfect! If you need a sitter without other animals that will focus on just your fur baby and care for them like her own, Krista is a wonderful choice!
