About: My parents still love telling the story of when they told me I was going to have a baby brother. I looked them straight in the face and said, “I don’t want a human, I want a puppy!” Safe to say not long after, I got my very first dog, Bella, when I was four years old. I have an acre of fenced-in yard with two dogs that are dog friendly, up to date on shots, and either spayed or neutered. ~ Your fur baby will enjoy their time playing with my dogs, or with me staying at your home and treating your home and your fur baby as one of my own. ~PSI Member and working on basic First Aid and Emergency Care for Animals. ~Willing to provide medications and injections to those babies in need. I work from home so your pet will get any amount of attention it needs. My husband is also a Rover approved sitter, so your fur baby will have someone with them at all times, for those rare times I need to run an errand. If I come to your home your pet will receive the same care and respect as work allows for flexibility to be there with them, giving them full attention. For walks, I keep dogs on the leash at all times for safety so can use an extended leash if that works. Plus I have plenty of outside space, a large yard to walk them around and across from my home with a leash plus a 30 foot or 45 line for the yard so can be free to roam, and I’ll be out there with them.

Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

About: I worked in the vet industry since I was about 17 years old as a veterinary technician. I found another full time job in the healthcare industry in Cancer research about a year and a half ago. But I still kept my veterinary job until recently. I left the vet industry to open up my availability to be around animals in a more intimate way such as dog walking, house sitting, etc. I am experienced with most animals since I grew up with a lot of my own. Over the years my family has owned ducks, chickens, horses, chinchillas, cats, sugar gliders, dogs, bearded dragons, geckos, rabbits, cows and guinea pigs so I am experienced with several different types of animals! I’m currently working full time but I have a work from home job that is flexible so I am able to bring my laptop and work phone. I go in office to work in Nashville a 1 day out of the week but I can always change the days around so I am very flexible! I know pet safety so I will keep a dog on the leash at all times unless there is a fence to put them in. Also if I need to bring any animals to my house I have a crate I can keep them in. I have a yard with a fence that I would watch them under my direct supervision at all times.
