About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. I don’t mind changing litter boxes and have a good system for my own cats so they always have a clean litter box. I often house & cat sit for my sister, who travels a lot. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Her cats usually have different food needs and feeding schedules so I know how to separate cats who need different care. I don’t mind clipping nails, except one of my sister’s cats who won’t have it. I know how to transport cats and work with "difficult cats”. I produced several “Pet Care” series for HGTV, the DIY Network and TNN television shows, working with experts and veterinarians, including Dr. Craig Prior, owner of the Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular vet in Nashville. He was also my personal vet for both my dogs and cats. I am retired so am available for any days and times. I also like taking photos and videos which I can share with clients so they see how their pet is doing.

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!
About: I have owned many breeds of dogs , I was also a kennel technician for 2 years! I know very well how to care for all breeds of dogs. I work from home, so I will be able to be attentive to your doggy at all times. Also I truly just love being around dogs !! I do not have a fenced in back yard, but I have no problem taking your dog out to use the bathroom on the leash. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I have two dogs of my own who live back home with my family, a 14 year old Shih Tzu and 6 year old Cocker Spaniel/Golden mix, so I have lots of firsthand experience caring for dogs. However, there are currently no pets in the home where I provide boarding, so your dog will not be sharing the home with my personal pets! I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, feeding schedules, walks, medications, and giving dogs plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away. I’m home pretty often between work and school and usually never leave for more than about three hours at a time during the week. On the weekends, I’m home all day. I live with 2 of my lifelong friends and my boyfriend, so between the four of us someone is always here to love on your pup! I’m especially interested in boarding dogs in my home and making sure they feel comfortable and included while their family is away. I want every dog staying with me to feel safe and at home. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I’m home frequently, so they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I also have a dog park right next to my home, which makes it easy to get outside for potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. The dog park is typically empty so I consider it my “yard” but if your dog isn’t friendly we’ll be sure to just go for walks!

About: Pets have always been a central part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have cared for them over the years, and I’ve had cats my whole life. I know how to read their behavior, keep routines consistent, and make sure your pet feels at ease whether you’re gone for a few hours or a few days. I work full time but I have plenty of flexibility to take care of your pet! I go into the office 3 times a week but I am off work by 3:30pm. I can do early mornings, late nights and weekends! I come to your home, so your pet gets to stay exactly where they’re most comfortable — in their own space, with their own smells, routines, and hiding spots. I follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, litter box preferences, or which spots are off-limits. I’ll always send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with a dog of my own and have been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities and love everything from long walks and playtime to cuddles and keeping them company. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own! As a PA student, my schedule is structured, but I built in intentional breaks for exercise, fresh air, and animal time to stay balanced! I’m available for early morning walks before class, mid day check ins, evening visits, and overnight stays. Studying from home on evenings and weekends also means I’m around to keep your pet company, stick strictly to their routine, and give them plenty of attention while I review my notes. I live in a cozy, pet-safe apartment that's perfect for small dogs. We are located right across the street from one of the best dog parks in the area, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time, fresh air, and exercise! I maintain a calm, secure environment and limit the space so they feel completely comfortable.
About: I’ve grown up with a variety of dogs and cats and have been the main one that they tend to flock to. Athletic type of person that likes to be outdoors and on the move! Currently working full time at Dollar General Corporate so I would be home later in the day but I tend to work out after so I would get the pets active as well. Completely free on the weekends to make your pet the main priority I make sure my pets have what they need in regards to food and water and take them out on a regular basis to go to the bathroom as well
